After a quick trip down to Washington today I found myself detained for almost 4hrs! Beer and wine confiscated and had to pay tax on a item $600. But it wasn't just the good stolen and the money paid. Yes I failed to produce the correct receipt so they thought I was being deceitful, which I wasn't. No matter how much I tried to explain the situation to the cold female officer she was convinced I was a criminal. I failed to say I have a case of beer and bottle of red wine in my groceries. Being detained like that by such a greedy hostile gang really made me ashamed to be Canadian. Shame on you cbsa!

I had a package coming in from overseas. It went through customs but on the day it was out for delivery, the tracking said it had an incomplete address and had to be sent back to sender.

After several weeks of contacting the sender to try to fix the situation (costing $13 in additional postage), I got my package and saw the original problem was that the clowns over at customs used a shipping label that had the address cut off!

In the last year I have got a couple of packages sitting there for months in customs and they are conning directly from a known store in the US, if I was this "efficient" at my job I would not have a job anymore for sure.
