I have heard of this website, so I thought I would give it a try. I ordered a gift card for Cole's through them, was charged $100, and even received confirmation. A few minutes later I got an email that my order was canceled, but the money was still taken from the bank. I called them six or seven times to find out why it was canceled, and their answer was I must've canceled it. The most frustrating person, Rachel, was very rude and indifferent. When I asked if there was anyone above her, I was of course crushed to find out that she was in fact the highest employee. Basically they charge for gift cards that they do not deliver, received the money, and force you to be refunded by the bank who then tries to sue them but is unable to find them.
I received a giftcard as a gift for Christmas. When i clicked on the link it said "page not found". I called cashstar and they told me that there was an error and that a new email would be sent out in a couple of hours. I didn't receive the email. I called again 2 days later and spoke to someone new. They told me the link was an error and that a new email would be sent out in 24 hours. I waited 2 days and nothing. I give up. Long story short. Don't use cashstar.
Last night on the Brooks Brothers website I input my gift card number and went to finalize a purchase, but received a message saying the item was now out of stock. Later in the evening I picked other items and tried to purchase them, but the gift card balance was then zero. I called Cashstar and gave them the e gift card number and explained the situation. They said the purchaser of the gift card would have to call them, and hung up on me. This morning the email with the link to the e gift card is missing from my inbox. It is not in my trash folder, or archives, and I did not delete. I called Brooks Brothers and they said they cannot help me and only Cash Star has access to e gift cards. Buyer beware.
They are the worst most unprofessional company. They will take your money not send you your card then expect you to wait 3-5 days for your refund. They don't give anybody the product they paid for they just hold your money and don't tell you why it is you can't get your card back.
I was trying to purchase 80 $200 Albertson's gift cards for our employees with a wire transfer. Our bank requires the address of the wire recipient and a contact person as part of their fraud prevention program. Cash Star refused to give me a physical address, telling me that they had no address and that it was not needed for a wire transfer. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that he was busy and would call back later. 24 hrs later no return call. Albertson's can not help even though that is their vendor. I have cancelled the order
I ordered a $100 gift card through Sephora website. The link took me to cashstar site, email confirmation was from cashstar, credit card was charged by cashstar.
When I called them saying I never received the card 3 weeks after ordering. They said they saw the card was used and has $0 balance. They asked me to call Sephora to check when and where it was used, what were the transactions, etc.
I asked them I ordered from cashstar, never received the card, and why do I have to do the investigation myself. They said they are just a processing company and there is nothing to do with them. But when I called Sephora, they have no access to the order as everything was processed through cashstar.
Very frustrating process. Now I'm going through my bank to get the money back.
My e-gift card has been declined on BetRivers which is listed as one of the platforms where the cards can be used. Emailed customer yesterday with no response. Called today and given number to call Game Stop which has nothing to do with the purchase of the card.
No response after emailing again today.
I purchased a $200 lululemon egift card. I was concerned that I did not receive a confirmation email. I reached out to customer service, and they were quick to review my order. It was a mistake on my end (typo). The gift card had been sent successfully upon ordering, and customer service was excellent. Thank you!
PlayStation seems to be what works the best. If buying a PlayStation gift card for any reason, this should work fine. I bought it to reverse a chargeback suspension, and it went right through, got me the code within 10 minutes and my account is back. So I can only vouch for PlayStation eGift cards, but it worked for me.
Ordered an email gift card for my daughter at 10:36 am was told it would be to her that same day, received a written confirmation. Three hours later I called due to no email. Was then told that it would take 24 hours to arrive. That was not what the confirmation stated. After talking to 5 different people for hours, wasting my time and not calling back like they said they would I still do not have the gift card. They took the money out of my account right away but I still as of 11:00 pm do not have the gift card in the email! Never again will I order from them.

On Dec. 16th 2021 I ordered a $100 Home Depot gift card. I thought surely with more than a week till Christmas they can easily get this to the recipient on time. Wrong: 6 days later on the 22nd I receive and email that it is just now being shipped. As of today... Dec. 31st, Christmas has come and gone and recipient has still not received their gift card.
I contacted CashStar customer service and they said to give it 30 days, it may still be in processing?
If it's still in processing then CashStar lied! It was never mailed.
IKEA offered a CyberMonday gift card bonus deal. I bought $3000-worth through a service site called CashStar. I clicked a second time as instructed and something felt wrong. I called American Express which said CashStar had "pended" two $3000 sales and only they could change it. I had a frantic week until the pending purchase expired and the money was returned to my account. IKEA pled ignorance. No one at CashStar would help. They said there was no record of a sale, but they had charged my AmEx so there was an obvious sale. I sent everyone screen shots of everything. Horrible lesson learned. Run like the wind!
I ordered a roblox gift card from cash star. Then it's said that I canceled my order. I tried emailing them and they are telling me that I will get my refund soon. But when I have been waiting since yesterday.
They don't deliver gift cards on time and they hide. You cannot call, you cannot get a person on chat or email. They just hide behind an auto email that says call the (800) number and this matter is closed. The (800) number is not helpful in the least and you cannot talk to anyone or resolve anything on line. I ordered thousands of dollars of gift cards that were charged and never delivered. RUN FROM CASHSTAR!
I purchased $55 worth of gift cards one for 15 and one for 40 both of them were sent to my email I go to my email and I click the view card but every time I click of view card on either one of my virtual gift cards it takes me to a 502 gateway error. I can't even view the gift card that I spent my money on because of an error. AN ERROR
I bought a 25$ gift card for roblox, and immediatly after they sent me an email saying the order went through, i got another email saying that i had requested a refund. This never happened, so i tried to enter in contact with cashstar. They told me they couldn't process my order and that my money was just pending by my bank account so no actual money would come out of my account. I found this strange so i called my bank, and they told me the transaction went through. 6 days have passed, i got no answer and no money from them.

I attempted to buy a digital gift card for my friend and each time i tried to order it, it said the order "wouldn't process". The orders never came through however cashstar still took money out from my account. They promise a refund but i never got it. I emailed them, got no answer, emailed them again, no answer, attempted to call, no answer, emailed a different company that was partnered with the gift card, no help whatsoever, emailed cashstar again, no answer, called once more and can you guess it? NO ANSWER. Cashstar owes me $95 and i need my refund back
Orderd QVC 3 gift cards on 12/10... rec'd 1 of 3 on 12/19... On 12/22 still waiting for the other two that apparently were mailed on 12/15 with the one I received! All they can say is wait one more day and if you don't receive them will refund you! Well isnt that great... what do I do for the two gifts I'm suppose to give tomorrow! I will never order from any vendor who uses Cashstar! And beware of the nasty Customer Service reps... that's if you can get one.
I ordered an egift card for a friend and had it sent to their email. It was quick and simple. My friend received the gift card and used it to purchase items within the next couple days. I had no trouble purchasing the egift card for a department store and my friend had no trouble using it. Would recommend.
