The service was an excellent experience. He was patient and kind. He knew what to do and did it quickly. It was the coldest day and he told me to sit in the truck if I needed to get warm b/c I had my house door key on my car key ring. Very kind, nice and very efficient. Glad I got Car Shield:-)

A few days ago, I spoke with a representative about adding another vehicle to my policy. I was not happy with the price she quoted me. I plan to buy a 2001 Jaguar and was told it would cost me $129 to add to my policy. I was also told the coverage would only be for the powertrains. I think the price is too high, and I hope someone reads this comment and calls me to lower the price.

Called ahead of making an appointment with the car dealership to make sure that my issue was covered, and the Car Shield rep assured me that it was. Made the appointment, which was two weeks out and arrived. Once the issue was fixed, the dealership rep called Car Shield to get the approval and was denied, so ended up paying the full amount!

I was a little nervous when I chose CarShield to protect my used Jeep. Two employees tgatcI work with, and we are all in the car business, recommended them. After reviewing my options with the sales agent, I settled on etting the Diamond plan. Boy, am I glad I spent a few dollars more. On my first claim, communications were astonishing. Most of the rental car was covered while my car was in the shop. The updates between the CarShield people and the shop, as well as me was phenomenal. We'll done CarShield, I'll recommend your company to many of my clients that I sold used cars to, whose warranty has expired, to hook up with CarShield. When I had an GMC repairs option was good and I no problem with service. Now I have a Volkswagen and I am having problems with finding a replica shop that will accept Car Shield. Everyone I contacted shares that Car Shield does not pay and take a long time to decide. I called car shield to get a mechanic shop of their choosing and I still believe the mechanic shop did not go over and beyond to really try to resolve the issue I was having with my car. The repair shop Car Shield chose told me I may need to take it to the Volkswagen dealership. That made me feel you really don't want to work on my car and/or you are afraid you will not get paid by Car Shield. This the first unhappy experience with Car Shield.
