Car Shield paid for the repairs just like the contract says but they did not pay for the diagnostic. I feel like they should cover that also because with no diagnostic how would the technician know what to fix

I take my car to a shop that does Car Shield. I go and drop off my rode. They have it for a few day's. I call up and my car was checked out. I got charged 278 dollars. Just for the diagnostic. Nothing done i have bill to take care of or i cant get my ride. The they tell me what's all wrong. Then if i want it fixed i would have to pay 200 deductible. On top of 278. Then the thing that were wrong you didn't cover. Bs. All of these months paying 97 dollars a month.
I have called several times and nothing has been resolved.
The customer service was great as well as the tow truck service. No problems!

I'm afraid, you never told me I could close the account and take my money. Someone in customer service was saying me that they going to fix it. A supervisor, going to call me. Wait and wait, anyone call me.
I love it when I pay for something and everything goes smoothly from beginning to end. That has happened for me with Car Shield. I paid for the plan and received a copy of it promptly. Monthly I receive a newsletter with easy reading suggestions and ideas. I feel protected with my Car Shied policy.

Car Shied eventually paid for the covered repairs for that I gave them 5 stars, be advised to make sure you read the contract for all the stipulations to get them to pay for the repairs. I had to authorize an engine teardown, Then Car Shield had to have one of their inspectors inspect the engine and decide if the repairs needed were because of negligence on my part. After that I had to submit 12 months' worth of service records with dates and milage on them. All of this took 8 business days or a total of 10 days to complete before they agreed to pay for the parts that needed to be repaired. They did reimburse me for a week's worth of car rental but it took them 14 days to send a check for that. Also, the dealership and the manufacturer recommended that additional parts should be replaced at the same time to avoid having trouble a few weeks or months down the road which I had to pay an additional $1,600 myself because Car Shield didn't consider it necessary to pay for.
