I had an issue with my 2016 Dodge Journey motor. I reached out to CarShield to brief them on the issue. I also needed towing to get my car into the shop of which this was also done through CarShield for boarded cost based on location to the shop! While my car was also in the shop, I still had the convenience of a rental for 14 days through CarShield while repairs were being done. All of this so far would be an exorbitant price. This only cost me my deductible and I was able to get back my car within an ample timing without me breaking the bank. This service I highly recommend to anyone.

Car repair stress me out

Between the mechanic and Car Shield I did nothing but take my car in. Car Shield was the best at getting our rental and our car repairs done quickly and it only cost me 100 bucks. I've been a Car Shield member for about four years. This was my first claim on it and I'll tell you what I am a member for life.

I had a unexpected breakdown trying to get home with a injured leg. Car Shield made everything stress free. My car was repaired the same day and Car shield paid for over half the repairs. Now the only pain I'm dealing with is my leg. Thank you Car shield

The representative was calling for me to give a better payment method, since the other had not worked. She was very helpful and understanding. I had attempted to solve the problem on-line; however, was not able to do so. She was very understanding of this 87-year-old's dilemma.

You advertising to call car shield before you broke down. I did just that when I went to Honda to change my timing belt. Nothing was covered because I didn't have a breakdown. Thank God I didn't have a breakdown with the timing belt because the car would of stopped on the spot. I would of had to get a new engine or car. CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP ASAP.

Alternator Went out

My Alternator went out although it had many more miles than it's expected life, but because I had a gasket that leaked oil that wasn't a covered part, carshield did not cover the alternator either. I will be cancelling my monthly $204 to
Carshield. Rip off!

Totally Hands off

Took my vehicle in for service and it was noted that I had a valve cover gasket leaking oil. I informed my mechanic that I had a Car Shield warranty. He called and spoke with a Car Shield representative, sent over some documentation. It was approved over the phone and the repair subsequently took place all while I waited. Couldn't be happier. Saved $500.00

Car Shield Trap

I have paid Car Shield approximately $3 grand. I have not had to use it. I recently terminated my contract with Car Shield because it is dishonest & a fraud. No where in my vicinity am I able to find a mechanic/ auto business that takes Car Shield; not even a dealership. No one wants to take Car Shield in my area which tells me a lot. Now I'm out $ 3 grand. I'm going to start putting what I was paying Car Shield into my savings account for any repairs to my truck. People need to research what the reality is when it comes to Car Shield. What is not explained in their commercials is the fact that Car Shield sends their parts to whoever you take your vehicle to. This causes delay in time to repair & results in 'slow payments' to whoever is repairing if you get paid at all. Ice Tea & Vivica Fox are making their money for promoting Car Shield but are the mechanics getting paid on time? The commercials are misleading & don't find out the hard way.
