I was called twice about my bill not gone through my credit card when I had a email from my bank showing that went through OK.
So by the third time I had to tell the operator to recheck because it was paid.
So I don't know why I was called when it was paid on time so looks like one department didn't know what the other department was doing

Tried 2 times to use car shield, Called myself and was told both times my problem was covered by car shield but when mechanic called told not covered. When I called about this I was told mechanic did not call but I was standing with him when he called

This coverage is essentially useless! The plan only covered $99 out of my $700 bill. I had to end up coming out of pocket for the remainder. I will never recommend this to anyone! Totally disappointed.

Leaky power steering hose. Approximate repair cost $720.00. I ended up paying $360.00. Therefore, I ended up paying $200 Deductible and an additional $170.00 Car Shield refused to pay.

I've had several conversations with people at Car Shield in the past few days and I have been very stressed out! I re-read my book to make sure that heater repair was covered and it was just crazy to me that myself and my mechanic were getting a big run around. It was so easy one phone call and they had me set up in a rental car and when the repair took longer than anticipated, they extended the rental car for the needed days.

They arranged for a towing service to transport our vehicle to a shop, ordered the part and took care of all the costs, also made arrangements for a rental.

Our transmission went out in our Equinox and at a time when we were all experiencing very cold snowy weather. It took a little longer to get it done but it is done and we are very pleased.

I did not attempt to get a rental because I had limited funds. I didn't realize that it would take 4 days to complete my repairs. Luckily I had a friend from church who let me use their extra car for transportation.

What coverage covers more, what I'm paying for doesn't cover anything other than just the engine! I had an EVact light come on and was told it isn't covered and it's going to cost me almost $600 to get it fixed!

I called and explained what I was going to have done with my car and your rep said it was covered-when I got to the car place-the guy had to check for himself-he told me later the part wasn't covered and they said I never called Car Shield-I did call and don't like to be challenged

They are trying to find a way not to pay for covered. The service department tried on 4 different occasions to contact customer service and didn't get a response. The service department worked with me to cover some of the cost that you all denied.

I am overall satisfied with my warranty. However I had to go to different repair facilities to find a shop that honors Carshield. I was also told by a representative that they would cover the tye rod on the front tight passenger side but then it was not covered. Additionallly it took longer then I was told for the authorization. Also I never recieived a phone callback from Carshield and the repair facility finally called me after some time. Overall experience was Okay. BZ

When I experienced trouble with my car, I got a Dianostic check from my routine servicer. It was determined it needed extensive work. I contacted CarShield and coverage was determined. They located a service provider. Work was done in a timely manner. Servicer was very friendly and the work handled very professionally.
