Got it fast and made sure it was indeed the correct computer
Everything worked as planned. My transmission issues are solved. I'm very happy with your company and your overall service.
Purchasing was simple and easy. Unit was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Installation was pretty easy and required no additional programming. Would purchase from them again.
Okshhhhh jjjjj jjjjj jjjjj jjjjj jjjjj jjjjjjjjjjjjj
Paid over $1300 for a replacement ECM. No reply to emails. Bogus dates given. Very poor communication. Over 2weeks and no shipment notification. Skip dealing with them and go directly to your credit card company for a dispute and refund.
This "company" is a complete scam. They will lie and say they are shipping out your order in 24hrs you can't speak to anyone they have you text them. Keep pushing the date back making excuses. Then say tests fail and want you to send in your old one for repair. Meanwhile you having this conversation through text because they don't answer the phone. They refused to give you a refund for your order that was never shipped. I had to file a claim with my bank and PayPal to try to get my money back! This is not a legitimate company they are a scam!
I purchased a PCM computer from this company took forever to get it then when it finally arrived and I installed it the PCM didn't work at all return it the next day was told I will get my full refund back that was a lie thy kept $210 for some junk they sent me I will not buy from this site again they will ripped you off.
I am honestly surprised to read anything negative regarding Car Computer Exchange. After dealing with their competition, who really worked me over in every way, I decided to give them a chance. My Diesel went down unexpectedly and the local dealer told me I had to pay $4,700 to get back on the road and that would take about two weeks. Car Computer Exchange put me back on the road in less than a week for $1,200. I don't even know where to begin when considering how much money I could have lost being out of work an entire additional week. And I have a lifetime guarantee on their work. Based on my overall experience with them I cant imagine having to use it. They do it right the first time. I am sincerely thankful. Ashley took my order with respect and optimism. And Bryan reassured me everything would work as needed. Very professional. A profound company.
Ordered almost a month ago. Called before ordering and was told 5-7 days estimate. No correspondence from them over the next month unless I contacted them first. Every time we call they give us a different story. Employee laughed when I said a month was a long time to wait. Have been hung up on by customer service when questioned why is this really taking so long. Save yourself the headache and order from a different company.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They advertise computer modules tested and programmed to your vehicles VIN and guarantee them to work or they will refund your money. What they actually sell are PCM's pulled from a junkyard, cleaned and painted but never tested or programmed to a VIN. Once in a while they get lucky and pull a good one but usually not. When you return the defective part they charge you a 25% restocking fee and a $50 programming fee. THIS IS FOR THEIR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS. They provide NO customer support. THIS IS HOW THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY. TOTAL SCAM! I would give a negative review if possible.
I was billed four times for 1 computer! The worst part? IT DIDN'T WORK!
First computer was returned and had to wait for a second one which also didn't work.
Still waiting for refunds 2 months later.
I do not recommend doing business with this company! If I had the option to select no stars, I would. The customer service is non-existent. They rarely answer their phones and when they do, they are exceedingly rude. I ordered an ECM for my Dodge Durango and it didn't function properly with my vehicle. I returned it according to instructions provided by the sales department and they never responded to inform me that they received the unit or that a refund was being processed. To contact someone regarding a refund, they instruct you to email their refund department, which I did. I never received a single response from those emails. When I finally was notified of my refund by the sales department 2 weeks later, they refunded less than half of of the money I initially spent. In my experience, Carcomputerexchange.com was a company devoid of ethics. Do not allow yourself to become another of their victims.
These morons charged me three times the norm and cut off my lifetime warranty after they never gave me a working product. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE IDIOTS.
I purchased an ECM with the company and after putting it into the car I had multiple codes come up. I was advised by them that those were issues with the car prior to the EMC put in. I had multiple repairs done to the car and the issue was never fixed. I had a mechanic who went through all the wiring for the car and found the ECM was bad. I called multiple times before reaching a person who sent me to a voice mail. When I was able to get her back on the line she refused to give me the address to send the part back for warranty and hung up. I called again and reached a manager who also refused to give me the info and told me he will make this difficult for me. I have phone records showing all calls to try and resolve this before filing a complaint with the BBB and consumer affairs.
Scam! Painted junk so you return and they screw you out of half the money. No customer service on the phone other then an idiot telling you to email them, which they never return the emails. DO NOT waste your money, I'll sell you a painted one and kick you in the nuts... way cheaper and same result. I would give zero stars if available and turned into BBB. Lucky for them I don't live in India, I mean North Carolina...
Answer: No, they sent us 2 non-working ECUs and I had to file a complaint with the credit card company to get my money back.
Answer: It would be easier to give a full grown lion an enema.
Answer: There are only really two ways to reach this company. The first way is to call the number and ignore all other menu prompt options and just press 1 for sales. It's all they care about. Otherwise you will be listening to elevator music for thirty minutes before getting dropped out of the system and calling back. The other way is to send an email and wait two to three days for a poorly typed one sentence response that doesn't fully address your issue, and this will go back and forth for a week until you finally get somewhere. Good luck and Godspeed. The other
