Otter Air's Aaron and Anthony responded on the same day I sent out a very frustrated call because another company had cancelled my appointment the day before they were to arrive and informed me that I would need to call them to re-set...After 3 days of calling this other company, and only getting a busy signal and not even able to leave a message because this other company didn't have a message service I was beyond frustrated. Along comes a call from Aaron and I explain my problem to him. He shows up at my home a few hours after our conversation. He and Anthony not only solved my problem after taking pictures of all that needed fixing and explaining what needed to be done and at what the cost would be but the work they did came with a 10 year warrantee...I am beyond pleased with their service and would recommend Otter Air to anyone that is looking for a company that is knowledgeable, honest and fair in their prices. My name is syeda and I wanted to share my experience of converting garage in separate unit. We tried to find right person for this project but we couldn't then my son told me to contact build zoom we called them they send so many person but luckily we got Christian Jimenez that day was luck for us, they did great work and his team is so hard work and honest, they did everything perfect as I wanted, I was so impressed because they did so many things which was not under the contract if they want they could charge more but they didn't charge any thing for extra work, their was work like family not only for money, sometimes I demand so much but they never mind so I just wanted to say thanks Christian Jimenez from my bottom of heart and recommend him for everyone, thanks

The designers did an excellent job giving our website a fresh, professional look. They got what we were going for completely and executed it perfectly.

When you find a contractor that returns your call, answers your questions and conducts a site visit prior their proposal being submitted you have a found a good thing. A&D is that contractor. In 2022 we hired A&D to install a horizontal geothermal loop HVAC at our Remer Cabin. A&D was one of three proposals we reviewed. All similarly scoped and priced, but Dean's proposal demonstrated his and his team's ability to listen and to understand our unique needs and location. Geothermal has technical elements that need to be understood with expertise, experience and needed subcontractor relations. A&D's deep local family experience in HVAC and Geothermal won us over and proved to be what was needed for our cabin geothermal. A&D installed our geothermal the Fall of 2022, which included monitoring the drilling of the horizontal lines, installation of a full HVAC in the cabin, including the specialized geothermal heat pump. It is amazing! The system is similar in decibels to our primary home forced air furnace, but the monthly costs is much less. The final cost of the geothermal matched A&D's original proposal. And then finally, Dean and his team were wonderful to work with and the communication with Dean was timely and responsive to any questions during the project. Overall, just very satisfied with our decision to put geothermal in our cabin and selection of A&D as our contractor.

Buildzoom has known malicious reviews from malicious and repeat reviewers not in timeline I was in business and they're specifically personal attacks not professional at all

Just do your homework on the Contractors (verify Licenses etc.). BuildZoom does not do it for you as they advertise.

I've never used BuildZoom but I will be giving it a try after the holidays. I will be getting my basement remodeled and will be going through BuildZoom.

WOW! With Customer Service by today's standards becoming so mediocre and lax in every aspect and profession, our faith was restored when reaching out to Daudert Plumbing, Inc. due to major leak in our Master Bath Shower. Not only were they out within 24 hours of my reaching out to them, they resolved the issue timely, professionally and affordably and "Who Knew We Had That Kind of Water Pressure Before This Repair" (was a bonus we didn't expect!) I was able to share by phone with photos with Jim (Father) of the issue so that they could do all possible to bring all parts needed to resolve problem without having to make a return visit. Jimmy (Son) was out the next morning and at time that was given. What a wonderful, delightful and knowledgeable young man. His Dad has to be proud. We were so impressed with him as he explained the service, did not try to upsell us on something not needed at this time and was in and out timely and "YEAH" no more leak (that had been going on since a month earlier) with a handyman originally called saying part was on back order and was attempting to sell part that was absolutely not needed). Daudert has our business for as long as they are around. Just a really great family-owned business where the pride they have in their work will keep us coming back to Daudert Plumbing Inc with any future plumbing issues and we undoubtably have no qualms about recommending them to our neighbors and friends. THEY ARE "GOOD GUYS!"

Helped me search for builders, contractors and handymen for my project. It made the process a little easier.

Do NOT use this website to find competent contractors! It's a waste of time and money!

We needed major construction done at our property including demolition, foundation, framing, electrical, mechanical, etc. We decided to use BuildZoom to help us find a creditable, licensed contractor. We were assigned a "Customer Success" representative at BuildZoom and shared our project details and architecture plans with her. She then connected us (via cc'ed email) to 3 local contractors, whom she claimed were "qualified" to complete the work. We meet all three of them at the property, saw their portfolios, and got estimates. They all seemed knowledgable (on the surface), and BuildZoom claimed to have vetted them, so we picked one and started the project.

It was a TOTAL DISASTER! The contractor took $*******s from us and barely came to the property, and the tiny amount of work that his subcontractors did complete wasn't even to code. In the end, we had to hire another general contractor to fix all of the mistakes and damage that BuildZoom's contractor caused. We are now in pre-litigation with that contractor to get back (any) of the money that was taken from us.

I will NEVER EVER EVER us BuildZoom again to find a qualified contractor. They clearly do NOT vet their recommendations! This is the worst service I have ever used. Do NOT waste your time with BuildZoom. You WILL regret it!

BuildZoom has helped a ton of my friends finding their contractor. It shows verified information of the contactor and provides very much portfolios.

The scope of our property remodel was larger than we could manage. The yard around our home is comprised of a front yard 45 ft wide by 25 ft deep, two side yard strips 2-6 feet wide by 60 feet deep and 8 smaller irregular spaces in the front and back yard.
After 19 years these areas had become overgrown requiring a complete clearing and total rebuild. The goal was to beautify the area and reduce its maintenance. We chose to convert the front yard into a small park with artificial turf interspersed around the trees. The side strips received new plants with river rock as the base. The smaller spaces had numerous pots to be repotted with plants appropriate for the sun or shade as each area dictated. The watering system needed a complete rebuild to automatically and independently water each area.
We considered doing some of the work ourselves and bidding out the more complex sections. We interviewed several companies and selected Black Diamond to complete the entire remodel
David Kingsbury was project manager and Max Riveira was the crew manager (these two men were a pleasure to interface with). Jose supervised different crews through each phase of the project. Wet Weather created some delays but the crews worked through much of it The scope of work for the park area included clearing all overgrowth and debris, replacing the old sprinkler systems, regrading, surfacing-contouring and laying the artificial turf. The side strips were cleared, new watering system installed and replanted, rodent screens and new rock added to finish. This was a major project and we are so pleased with the results.
We highly recommend the company and the personnel that made this possible. A special thanks to David and Max for going above and beyond our expectations.
