Ordered a sink for our laundry which was fantastic quality. Unfortunately it was damaged in transit, but the guys at buildmat were more than happy to work out a solution with me. Wish we found these guys when we started renovation. Highly recommend.
When I had to return a sink that was too large I had to do it at my own expense. In all it cost me $250. I probably should have put it on Facebook.

I'm Aubrey O'Ryan from Welkom in the Free State. On the 23/01/2023, It was my intention to buy bullet hinges 16x100mm x40 and 20x100mm x40 but they haven't got enough stock they gave me 16x100mm x9 and they will order the rest of them.The money was already been paid Sibanye mining reference no JKNZDKDV.When I want to collect the rest of the hinges on the 21/02/2023 I told them the invoice got lost,they said I must present it to received the hinges.They called the manager to intervene, but he was arrogant and rude he told me without the invoice he can't help me. I asked him the way forward because I haven't got the invoice his response was it is your problem.
I will appreciate it if you can assist me in this matter.
Jimmy contacted me immediately to clarify the purchase I did. As a consumer, I did not know that the Theo sink is not a standard size. Instead of taking the risk, I decided to change the order over the phone to Orlando. Jimmy refunded immediately. Great service!

Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions, they're still in original packaging awaiting the installation of my new kitchen.

The customer service from Jim was really great, it's a shame that the Buildmat email system seems to have a problem with iinet addresses, as without this fault and needing to chase up confirmation of our order and further query, it would be a 5-star rating.
The actual person-to-person customer service was excellent. Jim listened to our problem, was obliging and clear with our choices and steps to take to rectify the problem.

This was by far the easiest transaction I have done in ages!
I looked at lots of different products Online and decided on one large sink as I have a bad back. With large trays in my freezer and large stove tops I decided it would be. Easier for me to stand and just pop the large objects I the sink without all the bending to clean them!
Buildmat was the only company that made 1.5 mm stainless steel sinks to my knowledge. The sink looks tough and like it will endure all my large appliances being dumped in it!
