I scheduled Budget Heating and Air to come for a diagnostic report on my existing A/C source on Monday 9/10/2022. On Sunday my A/C system went out. Budget owner, Scott, came on Monday, reviewed my issue and had service men there the same day. It was fixed and cool in under 2 hours!

I purchased what was presented to be a metal return air can with insulated sides (Return Air Box, Register Boot 24" x 12" R6). The air can ended up having the entire top side made of soft fiberglass, i. E., no metal whatsoever. The soft top is weak and continuously sheds fiberglass, a dangerous/damaging situation under return vacuum. The website description is incorrectly worded and the photo is misleading. Hopefully they change their website description. Budget customer service is unwilling to accept any responsibility for their errors and now I am stuck with this item and out of money for the part plus shipping.

Thank you for reaching out and we are sorry that you are dissatisfied with the product. However a fiberglass duct board backing is standard on all return and supply boots. This is by design as this is where you cut a hole and insert an appropriate sized tab collar matching the inside diameter of your flexible duct. A metal backed return or supply air box as you implied is typically only used on metal ductwork or modular homes. We disagree with your statement that this is a dangerous/damaging situation under return vacuum as again this is industry standard and has been done since the creation of flexible duct work many years ago. In addition underneath every return box under features it says the following statement "Durable metal construction insulated with a fiberglass back for a choice of collar sizes"
Regardless of the above our customer service team still did offer to partially refund your order to which you denied as you wanted a full refund.

Still waiting on a response, but the unit was damage and noted before delivery driver left. However I will say the company was very helpful during the purchasing stages. I will update my review once this handling damage is addressed.
Horrible customer service and no respect for your time. Give a 2 hour window and when you ask for an eta after they are 2 hours late they don't even respond to you. So then wait another 2 hours and still no response. So made appointment with different company. Wasted whole day for them to do absolutely nothing and no response not a sorry or a common curtesy call or text to say they were behind or anything.

The shipping was outrageously expensive (Tampa to Jacksonville ground for $56!), and it turns out the item is manufactured here in Jacksonville! Also, there was absolutely no packing material in the shipping box, so the delicate sheet metal arrived bent and dented.

Yes I received my order it was a week late AND Damaged, it looks as though Yellow freight dropped the package causing severe bending of the top piece of metal…I didn't notice it till I actually opened the box and plastic wrap

Great price for products offered. Have bought several units over the years, but was a little disappointed this time. I sent an employee to pick up products and they won't accept a check. I feel I am an established customer and they should have accepted. I was out of the country and did not want to give employee my credit card and so I left a check filled out.
I never received a email copy of the order. Did not have a tracking option for this order also. The only option i had was to check the web site daily. If i had not printed the order number, I would have been completely out of the loop.
I have used your ac products from years ago. With no complaints. But fedex let my compressor sit on their doc for two weeks. Kick their buts for me. Thanks guys.
I was told it was going to deliver on Monday- called Tuesday and than said will b delivered on Thursday but maybe Wednesday but equipment didn't come til the following Monday- very bad communication from your company-

Our unit was delivered and is in great shape. Not a scratch. Really good communication. We're getting it installed next week
I got my bottle of freon quickly. Bottle is smaller than expected. At 28 oz, you are topping off the system. Try that, and then get a 5lb bottle if whole system is dry. Guage is good quality. Be sure to remove tube from bottle after charging first, not tube from AC, to avoid refrigerant leak.
I think it might work too well. When we received it, the weather was cold with snow. It took us a while to get it installed, we had to re-work our ductwork and add to the plenums we had. When we finally got to the part of attaching the heat pump to our house, it went very smoothly and easily with no issues. Pairing it with a smart thermostat was very easy. Almost immediately after we started using it, the weather cleared up, it got warm and sunny. Maybe we installed it backwards. Anyway, it's quiet and it's heating the whole house, I can't wait to see how well it cools. Kudos to Juan, he was very helpful.
I ordered 2 Gree Flexx systems for my house. Budget had the best pricing and fast flexible shipping. When one of the heat pumps was damaged during shipping, Budget even got a new one out to me in time for my installation date. Highly recommended both Budget Heating & Air and the Gree Flexx system (it's incredible).

Had discussion with a Randy Montes, supposedly a manager or owner. Sent him pictures of the product that was sent, definitely not new. Product upon arrival was dirty, oily, satined, and has fingerprints on it, and came in a white box. Promised to get call backs for a representative to send me a new replacement for three weeks and none yet. Trying to get a refund as this is poor and non-communicative customer service. Buyer beware of this vendor.

We apologize for the experience you had with the product. We purchased this item direct from our vendor who delivered it to us. Prior to shipment we never open the thermostat packaging because just as you assumed, we also assume we have been delivered a brand new product and do not want to break the product seal. After investigation, the vendor had a mix-up in their warehouse and mistakenly marked a returned thermostat as new and reshipped it to us. A manager at our office has reached out to you in regards to this situation and a prepaid return label has been issued and emailed to you. We will gladly issue you a refund or reship a new thermostat to you right away. We do apologize for the delay but we received the pictures from you last week and have taken action with the vendor and will make you whole either way you decide to go.
