I chose them over AAMI because they were about $200 cheaper. Big mistake. My ceiling fell in over my garage, they charged me $1000 in excess and sent of a few guys to "make it safe". Those guys did a temporary job, but they didn't send an inspector for another week. So when the building inspector tried to assess what happened all the evidence was taken away. So now they refuse to fix the ceiling because they couldn't find a reason for why it happened other to say wear and tear. Note that there are 6 identical houses all built by the same company and at the same time. Who have had no issues. Because there is no evidence they also refused to cover the contents of the house as the two are linked. They also lied on the phone in the first instance by saying that I would have had to pay the excess for building and again for contents but the PDS says I only have to pay the higher of the two. They had the roof report done after the building inspector, the roof reporter claimed there was no evidence even though their clearly was.

Elderly people often have trouble finding suitable travel insurance. Many Insurers have age restrictions and if you are over 75 they will not insure you.
