I bought a 2014 Chevy Sonic through DriveTime/Bridgecrest a couple of years ago. Financial problems made it so I had to reschedule quite a few payments. I've found that they're always willing to work with me on these, and I really appreciate what they do. Also, when I make alternate arrangements, I always do what I say I'm going to do. I think it depends at least a bit on the attitude I have when I call. I'm always polite, friendly and apologetic about missing payments, and I always thank them for their willingness to work with me, and they respond in kind. Very happy with them! And I love the car.
I called them several times and every time its a different answer. I am POA for a family member who is in a nursing home on hospice with cancer. I have sent the POA to them twice and they still will not work with me to give me a payoff or help me through selling her car. They are not pleasant, loud backgrounds, language barriers and not helpful at all. Don't ever borrow from them, they don't care about their clients let alone the elderly that are receiving family assistance in their final days on this earth.

If I could give bridgecrest no stars I would have. Bridgecrest charged me two payments, when I called them to reverse a payment back into my account they said the second payment can be used for the following month. I contacted my bank to take care of the problem, the bank reversed the payment back into my account. Now bridgecrest is charging me a fee for the one payment that my bank reversed back into my account. Bridgecrest is full of crap and I would advise anyone to not get a vehicle through Carvana so you do not have to deal with bridgecrest.
I've had my car loan through Bridgecrest for 2 1/2 years. I go into their website today and try to make a payment. When I login it tells me there's an issue processing my request. I call them and they want a $3.95 fee to pay it over the phone. The guy says he logs into my account just fine. I've tried several times logging in and getting that same message. What the F.ck??
The worst customer service ever! None of the 624 they take out my account goes towards my payment and nobody can seem to answer any questions.
Bridgecrest has to be the worst finance company. After getting a car not even a year ago, the dealership nor Bridgecrest is willing to work or solve any issues with the vehicle. We have spent so much money on this car for it to keep having issues. Bridgecrest won't even work with you regarding a payment so we are to the point of letting them pick the car up. Will never use them again nor recommend.

I have never experienced an auto loan company like this. If you don't pay on or before your due date they text, call, and immediately send out repo letters! Seems like they want to repo your car to make more money! If you sometime pay a few days or weeks late, beware!
I bought a $6000. 00 truck. I made 36 of 48 payment of $235.00. That's over $8000. 00. I was informed that my balance was $*******. 00. I told them to come get the truck and now I have a $19,000 balance in collections and it's killing my credit. Not only that. They routinely will charge off the debt and then resubmit it a month later to keep it as a new debt. This kind of business should be illegal and the corporate heads should be jailed for their criminal ways
Tip for consumers:
Don’t do it. They prey on people in need of a vehicle with little or no credit
This is the absolute worst financial institution you could possibly find to use! NONE of the customer service representatives have the same answer for the same question! Its no wonder Bridgecrest only finances with Drivetime. DriveTime is just as bad as bridgecrest!
BOTH OF THESE BUSINESSES NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!
2 most $#*!tiest places!

Bridgecrest you were sent a letter last July for my title information at the Tax Commissioner's Office at Troup County courthouse. It's been nearly a year do you think maybe you could send this paperwork into the tax commissioner please. Was a joke still a joke Bridgecrest
I bought a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and I put 5 or $6,000 down on this car and I've been paying for 3 years and I still owe $13,000 and they said I will be paying for another 7 years. 10 years of paying $300 a month is $36,000. Don't ever use Bridgecrest they won't work with you and they don't care if you understand what you're getting yourself into. Bad loan company and bad decision.
I called andvneeded help. Brittany was professional, courteous and helped me with my car loan needs. Greatly appreciated Brittany. Kudos for hiring someone great like Brittany. Thank you
I tried to defer a payment due to hardship. They said I couldn't prove hardship. So I proved hardship. Then they said they could defer a payment because I wasnt working. I can prove I have a job. Then they said they were going to call me everyday. I have call recorder to prove I told them I know my rights and do not call again regarding this matter or I will begin litigation. She kept on and on and I hung up the ignorant lady. I prove what they want and they change everything. I prove once again and they change everything again... WTF kind of loan company is Bridgecrest? Crooked crooks!

Don't use Bridgecrest because they're crooks.
I consider them a predator because they ask you to pay three times what the car is worth because they know you they have you in a bad spot and you need transportation and they are relentless and pursuing you.
So my car got totaled and I was told by them that everything was taken care of by gap insurance, and then years later when I could have had it paid off they charge an amount off to my credit report. When I called to ask why they never contacted me after telling me that the amount was paid off they said they had no obligation to do so. I've been working hard on my credit and this is a huge setback.
I got the loan, but when I go to pay it off, it will not allow me to use the online payment to make the payment if it is more than 2K. I called 4 times and talked to the customer service, I just want to pay off the loan in full. They can't take phone payments for more than 2k either. The system will not allow me to make the payment, so in the end I had to send a check in and it added another 64 dollars to my account for interest while they processed my payment. Now I can't make the 64 dollar payment on the website either! F#$Cing waste of my time, they know the online system will not work for the payoff or any additional payments, but hey they keep making interest. Calling doesn't help for making a payment either, unless for this remaining 61 dollars, I want to pay a over the phone fee on top of this interest which I shouldn't owe! Crooks! Time for a class action lawsuit!
I purchased an audi q8 prestige from carvana which uses bridgecrest for financing. Ive had the car for a year now and own my own business. I called them to let them know i was going to be 7 days late for the first time since having the loan. Then proceeded to tell me that instead of my normal payment of 1,262 a month that i would now be paying more interest that would accumulate to 2,436 dollars i then said to the customer service woman that math doesnt make any sense and i would like to speak with a manager. She "why" i said does it matter i want to speak with a manager she proceed to say "i can transfer you to another department" so this back and forth goes on for over 20 min of me simply asking to speak with a manager to get to the bottom of this becuase nothing she was saying was making any sense. She finally connects with a manager who proceeds to tell me that the previous woman i spoke with was completely incorrect and what she said was basically a fat lie. Then i said i wanted to file a complaint and the manager told me he would speak with her long story short didnt let me file a complaint.
On top of all of this when i checked the remaining balance of my loan nothing has gone down ive paid well over 15k into the loan. When i asked them about this they were not able to give me any information. That seems to be the common denominator with them. No body knows whats going on and no body is able to answer any questions. You have to fight tooth and nail to get a manager to assist you with anything. If you have other financing option go with those DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Now im seeking legal representation to get rid of this car loan and get a new car with a differrent bank. Very shady and illegal tactics they also have multiple class action lawsuits agianst them and bridgecrest has lost the majority of the suits.
I currently have an auto loan and I lost my job a few months ago. However, I communicated asking if they could work with me far as making payment arrangements and they were not willing to help. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone as well as when I get back on my feet, I plan to trade this car in just so I won't have to deal with this lender EVER again. I don't care what anyone states, they are unwilling to assist in your time of need. HORRIBLE LENDER.
After approximately 4 1/2 years of payment, my truck was repossessed. I paid the money to recover it. The Bridgecrest rep informed me that she scheduled my pick up appointment at the time I made my payment ( 8:30am). After contacting the recovery company, I was told the business closes in 2 minutes and I would have to wait until Thursday to get my vehicle. It angers me because I could have made the appointment myself! This misinformation has me stranded with 2 infants and no car seat! Being professional, I feel that information should have been disclosed upfront. Unprofessional. I will never shop with Bridgecrest again nor will I refer Bridgecrest to anyone at this point.
Disappointed driver
I pay extra every month to knock down the bill since the interest rate is ridiculous. Every payment I have to call them several times to have them put the extra money I paid on the principal since that is not an option online. After several phone calls they finally change it but they don't reimburse me for the interest for the weeks that it takes. This is obviously a scam to squeeze more money out of people. I'm definitely not happy and would never recommend this company.
I have been with Bridgecrest for over 2 years - I honestly think this company is very lenient when it comes to payments and credit reporting. Yes, they give high interest rates but I plan on refinancing as soon as my credit gets better. There was one time when I had to skip a month and told them I would be making a late payment (literally 60 days late) and they allowed it without reporting me to the credit bureau. I almost always pay 15 days late (due to my pay day schedule) and they are completely fine with it. I have seen other reviews that post about Bridgecrest harassing them, but you can easily tell them to put you on the do-not-call list, and they will do so. If you have a stable job and consistently pay your car note every month, you shouldn't have an issue with them.
Do not trust this company. I used them to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted through Carvana before someone else did, but that was a huge mistake. In my opinion they're greedy. No wonder Carvana is in financial crisis, from what I've read, using this company they're associated with to finance loans. I also read about how many people have had huge issues getting their title from them, which is a huge issue when refinancing to escape they're ridiculously high interest rate.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use Bridgecrest. Your best bet is a credit union if you can, but I'd use any bank before using them again. Heck some credit cards have lower rates than they do.

I refinanced my loan with NFCU and have had issues ending my relationship with Bridgecrest. It reminds me of a bad divorce trying to get rid of them and them wanting more and more.
Every since I ask for a refund for a Double payment Bridgecrest Bank is Now CLAIMING I missed a payment. The Harassment is almost unbelievable. They are Charging me an extra month of deceit. It's FALSE HARRASSMENT AND HORRIBLE. Greedy Grimy and PETTY. Absolutely No Integrity
I used the company through a loan with Carvana. It ended up being a huge mistake. My credit score was pretty good, so I got a decent rate with them. The vehicle ended up totaled, which began a mess of an experience with Bridgecrest. The company would not do any of their part of the claim process. I ended up having to demand their paperwork and submit it myself. The GAP insurance ended up being exactly the same. I had to do their job for them. They drug out the claim for months, charging me interest. When we finally got to the GAP portion, I stopped paying. They spent two months and failed to submit the paperwork to the GAP company. Again, I demanded the paperwork, submitted it myself, and two days later, they were paid. Then, the next problem was that the company refused to post the payment for over two weeks, getting another missed payment under their belt. They also filed with credit for my missed payments because they didn't want to do their job, and devastated my credit. On top of that, the payments I did make, trying to preserve my credit, that they got paid for through insurance, they refused to refund. It is a very poor company with very shady business practices.
First time I ever had to have an arrangement. Because Christmas messed the bank payroll. I call they agree to allow me to pay the next week. Then turn around and take it out of my account. Anyway, then tell me i've got a hundred and seventy two dollar interest on top of that for 1week Do not use this bank
My car was totaled and paid off and Bridgecrest can't give me a straight answer on my refund to save they life. Just lies and lies. I wouldn't recommend bridgecrest to my worst enemy. Just not honest about anything.
I have had my car over a year. Had to fix the car because drive time sold me a bad car front end need a lot of work. Called to talk to them about missing this 1 time payment so we can get back and forth. Car is costing a $1200 to fix. They told me because I'm current. They can't do that if I miss a payment they will come and get it. Also they use 186 of my 287 payment to interest. This is a big scam. Stay away from Drivetime and Bridgecrest

This payment breakdown makes no sense. Just like the two payments I was forced to pay. Not one person I have talked to can show me on paper that I owed this. But it's paid.
If you click on question mark it brings up
Payment break down
Past due $187.28
Late charge $15.00
This equals $202.28
But we had to pay $314.20 which is a difference of $111.92. Been a bookkeeper for 50 plus years and never seen this kind of bookkeeping. Somebody needs to look into this?
