I ordered a number of items from the on line site. I sent back some of the items (and had to pay for shipping myself on the returns). Weeks later, I received a box with a handwritten check off on a note saying that two of the items were final sale and could not be returned. These were both swim suit separates. I order on line frequently and would NEVER order a final sale swim suit item. The price I was charged did not end in. 99 as indicated as a final sale; nothing on the screen during the order process indicated it was a final sale; and when I received the order sheet with the order, nothing stated that any of the items was final sale. Though the people at the customer service call center have been extremely helpful, they have no authority to make decisions on their own. I have now spoken/been transferred to four of them. They all say that they want to help, but they sent an email to the escalation team and my request was rejected because the items were final sale. I am frustrated I am unable to explain the situation myself to the escalation team. And I can not prove what the website said at the time I placed the order. So I am now out almost $100 and much time trying to resolve this. I doubt I will order from this company again, and if I do, I will only order items that I already know fit me.
They advertise full refunds/satisfaction. When I returned part of a shipment, they kept all of the taxes. I don't think this is legal, but they said "company policy" and would not budge. I vowed never to order again, but tried one more time. This time they took my order but later said they no longer had the item. Finally, I asked to have my name removed from their mailing list. I called a total of five separate times. They are still sending catelogues and post cards with women in bras on the covers.
I placed three different orders. 2 for swimsuits and one for bras. Both were during an advertised special that was free shipping both ways. None of the packages came with return labels. When wanted to return some items I called brasmyth and was told that if I did not ship the items back within a specific time period, they would not refund my purchase and that if I waited for them to send me the return postage slip I might not make the cutoff. In addition, it took almost a month from when they received the return for them to credit me for my refund.
Awful online merchant.
