During the pandemic, we would have tons of breaks in school, and I was always bored. Then, I would watch BrainPop videos and would learn while keeping myself not bored. The games are also so much fun, one of them is how I learned about US citizenship rights! BrainPop is an awesome site filled to the brim with fun videos and games for all ages.
For just one example, the video on systemic racism suggests Michael Brown was a victim of police brutality when Obama's justice dept cleared the cop in that case of wrongdoing. There are other examples - if you prefer your little kids learn facts in school versus being spoon fed Marxist ideology by a cartoon girl and her robot friend, get it out of your school system.

Brain Pop is a terrible left wing leaning website with the sole purpose of brain washing your kids, their content is very limited to to normal common-sense education and very broad to left wing socialistic education, don't let your kids be brainwashed by this garbage!

Brainpop surprisingly is fun to watch and it doesn't make my brain go *pop* (unlike I-Ready) I definitely reccomend this product!
It's pretty good. I don't have much to say about it but the videos are entertaining and easy to understand. I don't use it a lot though, thats why i'm giving it a 4/5. I still reccomend it.
Shadow G. Beat me to reviewing this site, but I thought I should give it some props. Brainpop, though it comes with a heavy pricetag, is a jewel for any teacher. Brainpop has an immense collection of short educational videos (cartoon style, narrated by Tim and Moby (a robot)) ranging from science to math to social studies to language. I've been able to find more than 1 video on any topic in which I'm focusing in my classroom. The videos come with a pre-tests/practice quizzes and final quizzes, in order to evaluate what the students have been able to get from the videos. I always supplement these videos with interactive / hands-on lessons. The only downside to Brainpop is that it's fairly expensive, though there are lots of free videos available. If purchased for a school, it's a drop in the bucket. Brainpop is also available in Spanish!
This company has good online teaching but poor thought put into printing results. 5 pages on a brainPoP test? Just print the results. Why the colored pictures of all the questions? Save the paper and the ink you are wasting! We are supposed to be living in a green world...
