I pre-ordered a dress back in January for a really good price, then a few days ago they canceled my order. I contacted customer service and they said it was due to a failed purchase that was NOT stated on the canceled email,and it was on a day when I knew i had money in my account. The dress is $54 on the website (and IN STOCK by the way.) and I when pre-ordered it in January I got it for $25 with a birthday coupon, box lunch money, and the online deal for dresses. This honestly just sounds like a shady excuse and SCAM for me to buy the dress at full price.
My item has been stuck in progress for almost two weeks now the best they can do for me is. A refund who knows were my item even is at this point.
1st off they sent the wrong product. Went trough the return process.
2nd i had to contact them about the refund? Clearly 3 week after they received the product
3rd, they didn't give me the full amount of the return for the product (minus tax and shipping)
4th never doing business with them again
Don't buy from them… sneaky and poor quality. At Christmas they offered buy two sweatshirts get one free. They sent two of them with poor printing. I returned 1, they say no replacements. They gave me a $2 refund and kept telling me it was the free one I returned. They should have taken the price of two and divided by three to make a fair refund or replaced the shirt. Deceptive and unfair practices.
Ordered 2 items and still waiting 4 weeks later. Best answer I get is it is still in processing. They offered to overnight one item if I ordered again. A week later I am told that was impossible because it takes 3-4 days to print and dry. Cannot cancel either order, but I am welcome to return them to one of their stores if I don't need them anymore. What the heck!
The worst experience. I placed on online order where their system advised me the order was being picked up at the store within 3 hours from where I placed my order. That wasn't true. I called and they stated it was being shipped to the store. They never provided me with a tracking number, so I called back. On the second call, they said it was being shipped to the store, and no tracking number. I emailed a THIRD time, and at that time, they advised that the order was not being shipped and gave me an option to cancel the order. I told them I wanted a full refund. They never confirmed that my refund was processed, so I contacted Paypal, which it is being investigated. I am still out of my money, and my wife's birthday is now ruined. DO NOT use them. They horrible and can care less about customers.
I bought 3 items online over Black Friday and the package was lost. It was stressful because the items were intended as holiday gifts. I contacted the box lunch customer service a week after the package was lost after I decided there was no hope of recovering the package and they gave me the option of a full refund/replacement promptly. The replacement package arrived in a week and was perfect. Great experience shopping with them. Now I am stress-free for the holidays.
I live an hour away from the store. I got home and they had left the ink sensors on what I bought. I now have to make a 3 hour round trip to get the sensor off and they said "yeah, sorry". And that is all. This is a gift and I am beyond pissed off that I have to waste my day and gas money to go back over a 16.00 shirt and they did not seem to care at all.
First time in the store was awesome. A lot to see and shopping. The store so clean and organize. Asher was the cashier and did the work amazing very helpful professional and so nice. Please keep this employees great asset for the company. If you need buy a present for somebody or for yourself this store is the best. ( the store sell a lot stuff for anime, hello kitty, things for Disney and more and more)
Their customer service is usually outsourced to a foreign country. Most of the time they aren't friendly and don't offer to help. My orders get cancelled with no explanation. I try to ask the customer service to assist me and they could care less. Even the store employees behave the same way.
11 days for shipping is ridiculous, mailed on Dec 30 and says it won't be here till the 9th of January. Must be delivering the package via horseback. I'll go to hot topic or the loungefly website to shop from here on out. They will not be getting anymore business from me
I had a presale order that was accepted for months. It was supposed to come in May. In April that changed to September-October. Now it's been cancelled and it's unclear why. It's not been a very good experience
Horrible customer service thru stand by nothing, they give you the run around. The products are way over priced and very very cheaply made. I've had nags from Walmart last longer. What a nightmare. They have effectively killer my Xmas gift. They will never get another dime from me
My package was late and I called to ask for help with the tracking ( cause they shipped using usps) they could not help with tracking told me I had to wait an additional 5 days before they could issue a inquiry. Absolutely horrible customer service.
I will not buy anything else from them. Customers should be treated with respect and appreciation. They could spend their money anywhere, if they choose to shop with you the customer service rep should go above and beyond to ensure a good customer service experience. I'm sad to say mine was anything but satisfactory. Such a sad fail shame on you!
In the description of this fandom Merch store it says "BoxLunch ranks 51st among Food & Drink Other sites." When the company has nothing to do with food or drinks... unless you count their kitchen ware merch. BoxLunch is a subsidiary of Hot Topic.
Bought several shirts from them during the promotion. Washed the shirts per instructions. Half the shirt turned out worse than the other half. All faded. The black color of the characters eyes are faded to gray or gone. The red and blue colors are faded to light pink and light blue. We will see what they say about refunds.
Love the Disney items and Loungefly products. I have only purchased directly from their site. Several mini backpacks for gifts and to take to Disneyland! I have received my orders in expected amount of time. During holidays I had an issue with ornament and it was taken care of right away, she wanted to express it, but I told her that was not necessary and that I would let person know it a replacement was coming, it arrived before xmas anyways! Only minor issue, I ordered a tank top, it was thinner than I expected for a t shirt, but it was affordable, you get what you pay for... Purchased my son a collared cotton shirt with some video game design thing he likes and the shirt was nice quality and he loves it. A lot of people complain too much about how long something takes to ship, every site is not Amazon. They now are adding more stores, one is a mall near me and I was able to go in and see some of the products.
Never received my order. Told them and they were able to see it was never delivered. I bought it through Klarna so maybe that's where it got complicated but still. They didn't issue a refund and I only found out because Klarna didn't get word from them and they messaged me wanting me to continue paying for my order. So two months later no refund or item I purchased. Ive boughten from small businesses with better consumer service than this... so yeah done with box lunch. Overpriced garbage anyway
I placed an order online and the wrong item was sent. I contacted customer service and they offered to send a replacement. Ridiculously, again, the very same incorrect item was sent. I offered to send pictures of the cup to show the wrong item both times but BoxLunch does not support that feature in their customer service chat and told me a picture was unnecessary.
I ordered another item that should have been sent in a box, but was foolishly sent in a shipping bag, without and padding or protection. It arrived very damaged of course. I have to stop what I am doing yet again, to contact them. I described the damaged lap desk and asked for a replacement. I was told that because of how many times I requested replacements, I have maxed out that service and would have to return my item to the store for a refund. Unbelievable! I shop online because I am far from the stores and none of the above was any of my fault!
BoxLunch is clearly in the wrong here, sending incorrect items multiple times and badly packaged items that came to me DAMAGED, but decided to blame me because of their ineptitude and now I am being treated as if I have taken advantage of them or something. The item took forever to be shipped and delivered and after waiting for all of that time, someone didn't do their job properly, so I am being penalized for someone else's doing. Shame on you BoxLunch!
They charge $50 to deliver a small item that weighs very little if you're outside the States. They can't legally raise the price of their exclusive items so they just make up for it with an outrageous delivery charge. There is no reason for it to cost $50. Stay away, don't get scammed.
