Worst company

I never ever write bad reviews but I'm so blown away by how horrible the customer service is at Boutique rugs that I have to warn people. I received my rug damaged with a huge snag down the middle of it. It was unusable and looked like a box cutter had sliced through it but they told me it was 'normal' and offered a $40 gift card- no refund. I am so horrified that they can ship you a completely damaged rug and tell you 'too bad'. So dishonest.

I ordered a small rug to see if colors worked so not to have to return a large carpet. I only ordered because I saw in three different places "free returns". They do not have free returns quite the contrary! I will never purchase from them again. They falsely advertise and it ends up costing you money. Look elsewhere

Horrible Experience

So, here's what happened! I purchased the rug and they changed sizes on me during the point of sale. It was supposed to be 7x9, but it was 6.6x9 I called the company immediately to cancel the order (2 mins), and they could not stop the process and billed and shipped it to me anyway. Now, I am responsible for paying to ship it back to get a refund. Never do business with boutiquerugs.com

I ordered a washable rug that was advertised as being pet friendly, durable, and washable. The rug looked great for about three months then began to get picks and started pilling despite using a thick, high quality Mohawk rug pad. I reached out to customer service and they ultimately told me that there was nothing they could do about it. They suggested moving the rug into a lower traffic area which completely defeated my purpose of buying it. Customer service offered to give me $100 as a refund for the $600 rug. They ended up sending me a $100 Boutique rugs credit which is completely worthless because I will never buy from them ever again. I based my buying decision off of all of the five-star reviews the rug received. After leaving a poor review, that was deleted by the company I realized that this is a dishonest company. I do not recommend boutique rugs after this experience. It has now been a little over a year since I've had the rug and it looks absolutely terrible. It is pilling so badly you can hardly see the design. I've had it professionally laundered twice. It now sheds fuzz balls. So our dogs, our clothing, and our furniture are always covered in white fuzz. I'm currently shopping around for a replacement. This was definitely not worth the money.

They have ok rugs but HORRIBLE Customer Service. Once they have your money, you're ON YOUR OWN! They make returns INCREDIBLY difficult. With so many options available today, delete them from your list!

Rug I ordered was 3 inches shorter than what they stated! Then when I attempted to return the rug I was told it would cost me 200.00 to send it back. DO NOT ORDER A RUG FROM THIS COMPANY!

Wrong color
June 14, 2021

I ordered a 9x14 area rug from them. The description said ivory, beige taupe. When I received the rug the tag on the rug said light gray. They asked me to send pictures which I did. After looking at pictures they determined that it was in fact the rug I ordered. After SEVERAL emails back and forth it cost me $230 to ship back. Beware, apparently their word stands

I have had the worst customer service ever with this company! The lower price does not justify the horrible customer service! My rug was shipped to Puerto Rico... Called on MULTIPLE occasions to just get a tracking and was told they were waiting for FedEx to get that to them. If they had researched it when I called, this could have been totally avoided! I DO NOT recommend this company at all! Please shop elsewhere!
