“Boostabiltiy is the #1 for SEO Results”

Nick C.
11/6/20

I own a Print and WebDesign company, KIARO Computer Solutions (kiarosolutions.com). I use Boostability for my Search Engine Optimization needs for my client, Clayton Industries (claytonindustries.com). As a professional of web site design and maintenance for more than 20 years, I can truly say that Boostability is, by far, the best in their industry. I have used other companies in the past for SEO services, but I never received the outstanding results that I have in the past two years with Boostability. Two years ago, I had the need to replace my previous SEO company. I did a lot of research and settled on five top-rated providers. After reaching out to all five and interviewing each over the phone, I immediately felt that Boostability was the one for me. In our initial talks, it appeared to me that they outlined the most comprehensive and best plan for my needs, and they did it in a professional manner. I am always very skeptical when bringing on any service provider, but the demeanor they portrayed put me at ease as I felt they were authentic and knowledgeable. ClaytonIndustries.com is an international web site and demands SEO professionals that really know their business. My client and I agreed that they were very impressive. Now, after two years working with them, I can whole-heartedly assess that they are number 1 in the SEO industry. The representatives with whom I have worked take a real personal and professional interest in the needs of our company and they are reliable and trustworthy. Micheal Alamo, and later Ryan Goodwin, have continually impressed me with their knowledge of SEO and their professional demeanor. This is also reflective of others on the Boostability team with whom I have spoken. They are very flexible with my client's needs and offer me great technical direction to keep the web site relevant and fresh. In combination with all the tasks they undertake in creating an ever-widening Internet presence, they "Boost" our results every month. Our search engine results continually improve as our "main" and "halo" keywords keep moving upward towards page one results on Google. From the start, my client had seen an increase in inquiries for both sales and service. And this to me is the most important result. If you are looking for real results with a team of seasoned SEO Professionals, then you should call Boostability. I have total faith in the company's abilities based on two-years' experience with them. I am certain they could bring the same results to you.

I hired Boostability for improving my ranking on google.
They are good to sell you the services, but there is no professionality and no competence... they created toxic backlinks, and unrelevant contents... and they also inserted my 1st competitor in the same guest post!
Their backlinks services is composed by 99% of toxic/unrelevant links and 1% guest post from a blog with a lower DA than me (and from a blog created just for guest posto so you also risk to be PENALIZED BY GOOGLE).
All positive reviews are clearly FAKE!

Completely over promised and under delivered. I hired Boostablilty for an 18 month period where I was charged $1000 per month for "SEO" work. By the end of the service my SEO placement was not close to being accomplished, not a single lead received and I had to hire a new SEO company to UNDO the mistakes they had made. Not only was the service sub par but every time I tried to cancel I was told a bed of lies to stay on only to find the same lackluster results months later. Do not hire this company.

Boostability is a scam company. I recently contacted them for outreach backlinks for my blog.

Initially, they recommended some terrible keywords. I already knew the keywords we wanted to rank for, because we did our own research. After coming back with the recommended keywords, was the first time I was worried. The keywords weren't buyer intent, like I needed for this particular post, and they didn't even make any sense. I get the feeling they were just longtail keywords that they felt they could VERY quickly rank for, and then take credit for page trust we already had.

Then they got started on the "work" for the month. After paying $1600 for the month, I got 1 backlink from a site with NO rankings, and NO traffic.

1... Bad... Backlink... that would likely hurt more than it would help. Then they added a bunch of other "hours" of made-up crap work, which mostly consisted of doing blog posts.

2. I wrote them immediately after that and told them I wanted a refund. They responded saying they wanted to talk to me. I didn't respond because I was DONE with them after the complete sh*t work they provided, after promising that they only work with blogs and sites that have real traffic.

I looked at the blog posts, and they literally look like websites that are exact copies of eachother. My guess is that boostability simply gets free blog websites, pays a writer to write a decent post, and then uploads it to their own fake blogs.

Unless I get full refund from them. This review is going EVERYWHERE on the internet.

I hired Booststability in September 2018. They promised me that they will work with Google Bing and Yahoo to place my company on the first pages, in six months and even some keyword in 3 months.
After the third month, I called Booststability and ask them what can I do to help. Booststabilitya asked me to pay $400 (i did) after 6 month
Nobody was able to find my company and I called them to find out what's going on and what should I do to help They told me that I should wait for another month. They were sending reports but I was still invisible on the web. I called again, the answer was that I should wait two more months. After the 9th-month they blame everything on google. They told me that Google won't recognize my company. I paid them $5.800 and 9 months of business and they did not do anything just fake report and now I have to hire somebody who knows what to do. Boostability constantly lies to people. I do not advise people to deal with these crooks. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from Boostability. They are crooks running a dishonest business and trying lie to people by any means possible. I do not understand, after all the negative reviews on Yelp and BBB this company is still in business

Dear Boostability Account Manager,

Sorry for taking so long to respond to the numerous regular emails and voice messages you've been leaving me these past couple of months since not renewing my contract with your company.

Just so you know, the main reason why I chose not to renew was because after the 3-month trial period I gave your company I saw absolutely zero return on my investment from your company's efforts. Then when I wrote to you informing you of my wish to cancel, somehow you overlooked or maybe just ignored that request and continued to bill my credit card for a fourth month. (I wonder if you were ever told by your a/r that I had to have my credit card company dispute the ongoing charge that was made without my consent.) Maybe this is how your company pressures you in your job as an account manager, because then you proceeded to try to upsell me into paying even more money presumably to make "more progress" that I never saw in the first place.

Lastly, there's the aspect pertaining to customer service. I'm sure that you are very good at what you do for some of your clients and sadly I was not one of them. But I found it interesting that while there was scant direct contact during the 3 months of our engagement (but I understand, when I'm only shelling out $360/mo you can only devote so much time), once my campaign was no longer "active" on credit card autopilot I was suddenly hearing from you almost every day.

All in all, your company has too many shady practices for a business that failed to deliver any kind of meaningful return on my investment. No wonder there are so many complaints against Boostability. If you don't mind, I'd like to contribute my experience as well so that other business owners are better aware of what they're actually getting for your SEO services.

Sincerely,
A regretful customer

They are a new and fast growing Utah company that needs your money. They must have a friend on the local newspaper's staff; always getting a write up. Their staff is constantly being changed, moved, let go or quit. You've heard the saying "If it's too good to be true..." Too big too fast, no customer service is the immediate problem. They've hired a lot of local young people to push, push and push their company. I suggest that you look around before you commit to them. It will catch up with them.

Very Very Poor work. After 4 months I became very tired of correcting their onsite mistakes and only 15% of their offsite stuff was effective. 97% for the keyword posts were never accepted by blogs because the person doing the work has no idea of making the posts stick! After 4 months of directory submitting only 1 out of 57 submissions were accepted. The did do 4 articles but 2 of them were combined blogs posts with other companies they promote and two were kicked back being 100% irreverent to the site they posted the blog article. They do not police their own work I had to. I spend hours checking their work, finding mistakes and so forth. I'm an IT person person who runs 5 difference commence sites and I would never let these guy ever work for me or any of my clients.

Promised the world and delivered an island. Biggest problem is they would CONSTANTLY change people. You would have to go over everything every month or so. What a crappy company. Spend your money somewhere else. We were with them for 9 months and results were ok. Not what was promised when I signed up and gave them the deposit and the $XXX a month.

Seriously, it does not get any worse then this SEO company! They completely derailed my Google Place/Maps program. It was such an easy project.

I no longer rank for the keywords I wanted and that I have made money on for years. They revamped them with no real research, and it has cost me thousands of dollars. I cannot believe this. It took a month to get a hold of the original account manager. When I moved on to others in the company, they really didn't care. They didn't even take responsibility or say "sorry how can we fix this." They wanted me to pay for them to fix their mistakes.

I cannot warn you enough. They are committing SEO MALPRACTICE on a regular basis. I find it irritating that a business can grow this big, and hire people and managers with no business sense. I felt like I was talking to a bunch of college kids that could care less, and really had no idea of the business that they are actually in. Ridiculous!

I never write complaints like this, but I had to this time. Do not put your business in jeopardy with these kids. They do not care about you or your business. Saying that they are small business seo is a joke. We really should all band together and start a consumer legal action against them. Do not trust this company!

Avoid like PLAGUE!
We had signed up for a 3 month contract with Boostability paying $300 per month. At the end of the contract period, they made no contact with us and happily continued charging our card. We saw the charge initiated on a Friday evening and contacted them early Monday morning asking to cancel our account and refund the payment. Remember this was payment in advance for work to be done in the following month. Yet the account manager Colton Miller gave a flimsy excuse that work scheduling had already been done and after much insistence from our end, he agreed to a partial refund of $200. The same information was also sent back and forth and through the hoops via email. We were told that the refund would be credited in a week.
Three weeks passed by and we didn't see any refund. So essentially we were back to square one! Called them again and this time we were told they would be NO refund! That's right, we have it on record that they would be giving us $200 and based on their current position, it was all a BIG LIE.
Do yourself and your wallet a favor and DO NOT sign up with Boostability. They are crooks running a mediocre business and trying to swindle people by any means possible. DISGUSTING.

I hired them a week ago for a 3 month trial period. After making the first payment, I never spoke with them again. They did try calling me a couple of times, but when I returned the call they were never there, and didn't return the call for days. Their available times to meet were very limited, so after a week I decided if this is how they handle new accounts, it likely wasn't going to get any better.

So then I called for a refund and the fun really started. They gave me a bit of a runaround, but then demanded I sign a waiver and agree not to post anything bad about them online! I've never heard of such an outrageous thing. So they left me no choice but to call my credit card company to dispute the charge. Ridiculousness!

Tip for consumers:
Find a better SEO company, or any other company.

Boostability is not a business worthy of your attention except to run! We cancelled not even waiting the 90 days and they have been charging our card every month since. My accountant did not know I had cancelled the service and did not question the charge until I told her we cancelled that service 11 months ago! Then she gave me a printout of all the months I had been charged. They say they will not give me my money back since I did not cancel. There is no way I'm going to let that slide 85 dollars a month for 11 months! I don't think so! I'll update later.

HERE IS THE TRUTH ABOUT BOOSTABILITY. They all have good intentions, but the facts are 1) They are understaffed 2) Many (3 of the 4 account managers I worked with) are poorly trained. They are growing as a business and as a result the customers on the bottom half get neglected. Here is my experience. They promised us in the sales pitch that we would reach the first page of google after 3 months. We then committed to a "designated account manager" for $500/month. In the first two months we had 3-4 different account managers, they missed scheduled conference calls that I took time off of work to attend, and passed us around from one account manager to the next. Since no account manager was clear on our plan, they started on a 6 month campaign for the first 2 months instead of a 3 month campaign. When I called in to complain the manager said he would line me up with a great account manager and that she would get in touch with me ASAP. About two weeks later I had to contact them AGAIN because I hadn't heard anything. April Nuttal is an outstanding account manager but it seems like they spread her too thin. She took over our account and it is now on track for them to fulfill what they said they would. I complained to the Better Business Bureau and the very next day the manager called me. They are giving us two months free to make up for the first two that were off track from our goal. Things are looking good now but I wish I didn't have to call in 3+ times and file a formal complaint before I was taken seriously. These are the side effects of a company that is growing rapidly. I appreciate their commitment to make things right, but I would warn people that you may have to fight for attention if you are assigned to the wrong account manager. All in all they are not a dishonest company, they were just not capable of fulfilling their promises proactively (In my experience).

Well I had a long hi pressure sales person Jesse. Call twice today pushing their product. He looked at my web site and said it was looking great. Asked me what I expecting of my web site.
Asked where I wanted to be placed etc... then gave me a few words or phrase to google search, bingo there I was on the 1st page. However, no one would ever think to word the search phrase in that fashion.
I am glad I ran across this site to read abut other dis satisfaction... I will keep my credit card in my pocket. I got taken once by a web hosting company in Phoenix AZ. Named ipower - STAY FAR AWAY FROM CROOKS since then I research everything in depth and prefer to spend my money where I can actually get my hands around somebodys throat in person.

I was paying a minimal amount to try and get some traffic to my website, I don't know if I would have had better results if I paid more, but I had no increased traffic--- I wrote an email and asked for cancellation, they claimed they never got it and so they could not back date my cancellation, because I could have "doctored" the old email that I sent to them--- why would I bother? And I hate being called a liar. As a business owner I wish I had a business model where I charge people small amounts and just keep on charging--- month after month--- no matter how lousy the service or that there are exceptions to the rule. Its just the business climate--- steal from customers as long as you can--- quantity --- not quality.

Here is my boostability experience. I own a political website that features impartial summaries of political views and scandals.

Before hiring them, I spoke with a rep at length. I was clear as to what I expected. I wanted someone to look at my site, look at my competitors, and then tell me what I was doing wrong and assist me in developing organic traffic. That service simply was not performed. Furthermore, the service that they did provide was of extremely poor quality.

After hiring boostability, I sent an email with the same information I gave to the rep I spoke with before hiring the company - a list of my competitors and a list of possible keywords. A few days later, I received an email with "on-site recommendations". These recommendations consisted of changing an image tag and adding an h1 to my home page that contained the phrase "political representatives updates online." Although this phrase made no sense to me, as it seemed to have never been googled before, I made the changes and called the rep to ask questions. I was never able to get ahold of him.

No long after that, boostability created 6 articles that highlight this phrase and link it to my home page. The meaningless of this phrase can be seen by doing a simple google search for "political representative updates online" and seeing that the very articles they wrote appear on the first page results for that phrase.

I contacted their management and asked how these keywords could possibly help my website achieve traffic. They agreed that this was poor work and told me that future work would not only be better, but that the past work would be made up for in some manner since it would obviously present no benefit to my website and was not something I agreed to ahead of time.

I expected that there would be some research done on my site with some suggestion for on-site optimization, some suggestions for keywords to target, and some plan for the future of my site. I sent emails, as I had done in the past, with lists of my competitors and other things.

After receiving more emails simply asking me what keywords I wanted to target, I gave up on convincing them that this was the very reason I hired their company and suggested going after the phrases "political positions" and "election calendar." I sent them an email denoting which pages to attach those phrases. Boostability then posted three articles linking the phrase "election calendar" to my site and one linking the phrase "political positions".

One of these articles proclaimed the benefits of purchasing an election calendar. I know that google has no idea what the article is actually about and doesn't care that I don't sell election calendars, or even that such items do not exist. However, the article demonstrates a level of competence far below adequate. This is further exemplified by the fact that the article is not linked to the page I asked it to be linked to in my email. A second article, also highlighting the phrase "election calendar," also links to my home page and not my election calendar page.

This means that after paying several hundred dollars, I received 10 articles links. All of the sites containing those articles have almost no domain authority or page rank. The sites seem to exist only to provide boostability customers with links. Six of those articles link the main page page of my site to the phrase "political representative updates online," something that can only be detrimental to my site in the long run. Two articles link my home page to the phrase "election calendar," one links the election calendar page to the phrase "election calendar," and a final one links the phrase "political positions" to my home page.

That makes two articles which have any possibility of providing a benefit for my site for the keywords that I chose.

The only SEO that Boostability seems to be capable of doing is taking whatever phrase that you give to them, and then churning out meaningless articles linking that phrase to your site. They couldn't even perform this task correctly.

In addition, this practice of using low quality sites solely to anchor keywords to domains is frowned upon by google and was smashed by Panda and other updates. If these articles have any affect on your rankings, which is doubtful, it will be negative.

What Boostability attempted to do to me was not new. They target an unused phrase and then get your site on that first page of results for a phrase that is never searched. In this manner, they can make the claim that "they got you to the first page." However, this is meaningless if the phrase you rank highly for has never once been googled.

Stay away from this company.

Very dissappointed with this service. They did not contact me after the first week of the sale. And then blamed me for not following directions of an email that they never sent to me. Tried to cancel the service at the beginning of the month, but this service would not refund me the $350 for the month. The links they built for me were not relevent. Most were never picked up by any of the search engines. This company does not do quality SEO and has terrible customer service. Do not use them.

This company was VERY difficult to deal with. I had agreed to use their services, gave a credit card number, then found out that there was a "three month contract", multiplying my charges by 3. When I told them I had NOT agreed to a three month contract, they refused to credit my charge card. After much discussion with 3 different managers they still said that they could not credit the card back. I was astonished! I told them I would contact my credit card, and was shocked they would put their reputation and credibility on the line for $275. Later I received a message from them saying they thought about it and "it must not have been in the Tarot Cards" for this time. They did credit my card, but kept the $50 processing fee.

After telling the salesperson on the phone that I knew very little about computers, I was promised by the man salesperson that a representative from Boostability would 'walk me' through the process. Within a day I got emails with instructions. My email response asking for someone to 'walk me' through it was ignored by Jewel Przybyia, my account manager. I immediately cancelled the service. And immediately got a response from Jewel through a voice mail she left of my phone recorder. I returned Jewel's phone call and explained to her why I was canceling. I cancelled the service within 48 hours. She sent me an email verification. I have her on my recorder and I have her email acknowledging my cancellation. A few weeks later, I get a call from another rep who said he was working on my account. He said he saw nothing in my account that showed it being cancelled. He checked with Jewel and called me back. Jewel lied and said I never cancelled the account. Now the new rep says I waited too long to cancel. I'm am fighting with them trying to recover my $400. Total rip-off! I am going to file a compliant with the Missouri Attorney Generals Office. Toral rip-off!
