I love Book Outlet! It can be hit and miss on what's available, but if you find what you are looking for, it will definately be at a much lower price than anywhere else, new or used. The shipping is fast, and on one occasion when book arrived slightly damaged, They were very quick to send me a replacement.
A little more efficient packing would be my only recomendation. Sometimes the box is too large, creating potential for damage during shipping. This however has only hapened for me once, and I have ordered books many times with no issues.
The tracking number says they were delivered in Burnaby. I live in Vancouver… I never received the items. Please refund or deliver the books to my address. If I find this to be a fraudulent online store, I'll call my credit card company to report.
Super happy to find somewhere canadian that offers free shipping and great prices on popular books! Quick turn around time, and the books were in perfect condition. Will definitely be ordering again.
On the weekend I decided to try calligraphy but didn't want to invest a whole lot and found a beginners set. Found them via Google search and ordered it. I paid the shipping bc I was too tired to browse and add more to the cart. That said, it shipped out Monday and arrived to me Tuesday! Very pleased, would recommend and order from them again.
The ordering process was straightforward and intuitive, the tracking was easy, and the delivery quick. The book came well packed and protected--and it was a much nicer edition than I had expected. I could not be happier. Book Outlet gets my vote!
My only complaint of this site, which is common with most discount sites, is that the inventory doesn't always have what you are looking for. However I still find that there is overall a good selection and I have bought books when I've gone there. Shipping is FAST and inexpensive. Sometimes I've looked for other books to get to the point that I have free shipping but the shipping is so little that's not always necessary. One time I wanted 4 copies of the same book. I wanted a copy in Nova Scotia and wanted to give a copy to three friends n Vancouver, Calgary and New York. I was about to order all 4 to come to me when I realized it was far cheaper to make 4 orders and for $5 ship the book to each of my friends, including across the border into the USA. For $20 I had 4 books shipping when I likely would not have been able to mail one book on my own for that price. I will go back and look but realize not everything there will be something for me to buy. IMMEDIATE UPDATE. This review process is far too complicated. I should just be able to comment as I can on Ebay or Amazon. Making me find my order number and prove purchase means this is likely the last review I will do.
Another great deal shipping a book to a friend via your site. The book saves me money and your low shipping rate saves me money. Great.
I decided instead of buying some books to send to myself and then to send to others, that I'd send directly via your website. It is fast and easy and less expensive. I would suggest you advertise this as a bonus. One reason people don't buy books is because regular post is too costly. But with your rates, it makes sending books more reasonable.
I can always find something onbook Outlet to satisfy my reading cravings! Prices are reasonable, and delivery is speedy.
Some of the books came in visibly damaged, which I somewhat expected given the price tag, but one of the books had its cover creased in half. It's still readable, but I wish the condition of the books were better.
Bookoutlet is awesome. I had a 30$ budget for books and I was able to buy 5 books and stick within that budget, and that is including delivery costs.
I'll say the only issue with Bookoutlet is that they don't always have a wide selection, however that simply forces you to discover a lot more books and step outside your comfort zone. So it's not all bad.

The prices are amazing, the shipping timeline was accurate. One of my books was "top box" and had the slice from the box cutter but all the rest were in perfect condition.
As a teacher, you are constantly buying books and it can get expensive. When I saw the prices of these books, I thought it was too good to be true, but I took the risk.
