First time ordering and won't be the last! I ordered 4 books and they were nearly double the price in other online books stores. Totally worth it and I've told my friends about this website too. Definitely recommend!

We ordered school books for our 5 children, and everything came in 2 convenient boxes, nothing missing in the order. There was some ink bleeding that had occurred on the covers on 2 of the books, which is probably why we got such an awesome deal on them in the first place! Completely satisfied, and will definitely be ordering from Book Outlet again!

I've used this company 3 times now and have never been disappointed.

Books were very poorly packed and rubbed against one another during shipping, causing damage. Another book had been damaged before shipping by someone ripping off the price sticker. This was my first and last order with Book Outlet.

I had ordered several books on my last order and received them in a box where there was no paper or other material to hold them together. This obviously allowed the books to move around a lot during shipping and one of the paperbacks had a folded cover which has caused a permanent crease. I have ordered quite a few books up until now and this has never happened before. So I would think that most of your employees who pack the books know better. Other than that I am quite satisfied with your services.

At first my expectations were not high at all due to the cheap price. However, i was surprised how well the quality was. It looked like a new book you would see anywhere. Definitely going to order more!

I've got a great deal of patience even during the Amazon Prime era of speedy deliveries, however, shipping is painstakingly slow. Also, one of my shipments was lost for a month and I had to call to check on it before I heard that information. I guess that's the price you pay for discounted books, but it's worth it when a large box of books are delivered. Customer service was great!

I placed a small order (4 kids board books and 1 novel for myself) for my first order. It shipped within 2 days, and delivered a couple days after that. With the book prices being so much lower than regular book stores, I am able to buy my daughters more to help grow their love of books. Overall an amazing experience and will be order again a lot in the future.

Every time I order I get exactly what I need. The prices are unbelievable, and they help us fill out our much-loved, much-visited bookshelves.

Shipping is a tad slow, but with free shipping from Ontario to Alberta on orders over $45, I just plan accordingly.

You have great pricing. One small niggle on your website - there is no main category for fantasy or science fiction. I end up with a title search on these words.
On to deliveries. It takes longer to get packages from you than any other company I buy from. I suppose I can live with that if I had to but my main concern is that the last two packages have been thrown on the ground at the bottom of my steps. The most recent package was wet. The cardboard was falling apart. The books were soaked. They now stink. Metroland is the only courier that does this. Every one else climbs one flight of steps and puts the package at my door, out of the rain. I strongly encourage you change couriers. If you are going to keep these guys please, please put the books in waterproof packaging.

The only think I want to point out was the packing was not taped up. Surprised my books did not fall out during transport, although I don"t know if there was a packing slip in the package or not. This possibly fell out if there was one. Don"t really like my personal info being strewn about for anybody to see.
Might need someone double checking packages before shipping.

I was able to browse through age appropriate books for my daughter and selected several that had been recommended by other moms, for my baby. Price was great and the books were delivered quickly! Great experience all around, will be buying more in a few months!

I always buy my books new and hand them off to someone else when I am done as opposed to using the library so I can read it at my leisure and carry it in my purse/car/etc. Without worrying about damaging books. Purchasing with Book Outlet allows me to get titles I've been searching for for a fraction of the price and ships them very fast. I also love purchasing books for gifts because it makes it seem like I spent more money than I did!

BookOutlet prices are great, books ship in a reasonable time, customer service is good.
The company they ship with - Metroland and their affiliates - is terrible. Tracking is poor, books are delivered before or after business hours, on weekends, holidays, etc. and just left outside. This is an ongoing problem that is not addressed.

You may be searching to see if this company is safe, and worth buying from. I am actually afraid what will happen when everyone else learns about Book Outlet. Amazing prices, quality books, huge selection... and I am not being paid for this review. I genuinely love Book Outlet, and highly recommend it!

Update: This time they brought it right to her door! That is phenomenal as the box is heavy and she is not that strong. She asked me to make sure the "Book Outlet" knew how pleased she was.

You will have a hard time finding books at a better price. We have placed many orders over the last couple of years. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is that sometimes the books covers are moderately marked up (never torn). This has caused me to have been disappointed a couple of times when buying books as gifts.

Overall my experience with Bookoutlet was great!
Delivery time was fast considering I ordered 30 books. Price point was unbeatable! A few books did come with a little wear and tear (not sure if it was due to shipping or just because they were discount books. Ie: bent covers and pages, some small rips on the books spines etc.) But overall, considering price point, I would say this is an excellent way to buy books at an amazing price.

There are great deals to be had if you the the time to look through the selections and utilize all your favourite subject matter. Shipping is very reasonable but it is with Canada Post who have their own issues with deliveries (not the fault of the Book Outlet at all). Glad I found this website. I have been shopping here more than a year now and it is still great! Thank you.
