I bought a used outboard motor and it was missing a few parts. With the search engine for the parts, I was able to locate all the parts that I was missing.
With the inconsistencies of USPS, they're not the best choice for deliveries. Package was 3 days late, which delayed a job. Coming from GA, it shouldn't take over 5 days to get to Orlando
I ordered a set of plug wires for an older v6. After receiving the wires I did a ohms test to verify they all met omc spec, one did not. Called and explained problem they shipped a replacement. Had it in 2 days.
I've ordered parts for my Suzuki outboard for several years now. The parts are always in stock, and they are shipped very fast. Great service. If i had one suggestion, it would be to use a box or some kind of rigid packaging if one orders an oil filter. The shipping bags are great but they allow the filters to get crushed. I ordered a filter and it came fine, but it has happened in the past. Thank you
Just a simple screw for the gear oil drain went missing. I didn't expect to get a new one on three days but Boat.net responded quickly. A simple screw!
Cost me $53 USD shipping for 6 carb jets - package was delayed multiple times, was slow to be sent, was caught in a postal strike, and even when strike ended they just sat for over a week, its now been a full month since I ordered and still no parts. They declined to refund my shipping charge despite them being able to claim it back from UPS. Bad service and would not recommend as they have no reviews on their site probably due to their refusal to back their own shipper. Go with Crowley Marine instead.

The last two orders were shipped within a day or so, of receiving my order and received quickly. I've had a few orders in the past that took a very long time to shipped, as boats.net was waiting from various manufacturers, to deliver the items to them. I've learned that if I need items that are available immediately, that I can have the delivery split, so that items that are available immediately, will be shipped right away and items that are back ordered will ship at a later date.
My 2000 mercury 15 hp outboard's serial # wouldn't match up. Called Boat.net reps and they figured it out. New carburetor fits perfect and the engine started up.

Ordering was easy, parts diagrams helped considerably. The parts arrived on the scheduled delivery date(actually it was a day early). Installed them last night and everything fit as expected. Very happy with the purchase.
Easy to find and order the parts I needed all on one site. Reasonable prices. Biggest negative is now my inbox is filling up with unwanted emails. I got three from Boats.net just this weekend, none of which were related to my order.

Boats.net had the exact Susuki fuel tank connector to allow me to use my Susuki 9.9 hp outboard fuel hose on an extra tank I have. Shipped quickly and is exactly as advertised.
My experience this time as well as all of the other orders I have places has been shipped and received very promptly. I had one order that a an o ring missing but customer service had it in the mail the same day I called. VERY satisfied with service!
