I took up what I thought was a 7 day trial only to find they had taken my money straight out of Paypal the same day. I tried to get it back with several emails only to be told there is no refund but they have cancelled the auto-renewal which was not set anyway. All I wanted was to try it with 1 card. I was told after waiting a long time for an answer that delaying sending a card by 1 day is not allowed on a trial (which it did not state) therefore I started a full membership. They clearly mis lead people in order to get their money.
I signed up for the 7-day free trial, for which you have to give your card details so they can start billing you after the trial ends. Except my mobile banking app showed that the site took the monthly amount within seconds of signing up!
I wanted a nice e-card for valentine's day for my wife who was abroad at the time. Click the "send to Facebook" link and it says it's sent, but never asked for where and (obviously) never arrives anywhere. So I copied the link and pasted it on my wife's FB page. Instead of a nice intro photo, it appears as an advert for the company and explains what it is and where to buy it! Might as well put the wording of a physical card on the outside of the envelope, and leave the price ticket on.
Hideous company - have asked my card company to charge back asap.
I tried out the free membership by sending one birthday card. But just before the final "send", I was asked to activate my membership. I did. Turned out that put me onto a paid membership. It was not clear. Why would I pay now on the very first day of a free trial? When I wrote in about it, the reply told me to enjoy my year-long paid membership! That I didn't want and didn't know I had signed up for.
I signed up for a 7 day free trial 6/28/23. I was charged for 1 yr beginning 6/28/23. I sent email, no response. I tried calling and was asked to select a number well that didn't work and it hung up on me. There is no other way to reach them.
Terrible customer service, don't sign up!
I would just like to say a big thank you for the kindness and efficiency with which they have treated me!
I made a mistake with my membership, it was NOT their fault; but it put me in a very difficult position. They were very kind and solved the problem for me! They could have just said it was my problem but they didn't! So thanks again Blue Mountain!
I went to their site to send ecard for a birthday for tomorrow. I chose the $6.99 option for one month trial. Their system defaulted to one year membership fee, after they had my credit card info for automatic renewals and no place on their site to edit this membership. And, their site also says "no card pending to be sent", even though I'd chosen one. Then, I did a search and find numerous complaints on 4 complaint sites of this happening to others. So, within the hour, I called my credit card company to block my account and reverse the charge which was already pending, and to get new card. I'll have to take time to follow up on this, after it has posted, as well as warn my card recipient of any solicitations, because they also have her info. What a hassle. Beware.
I would not recommend this service. I didn't use them once and when my card was automatically charged without a couple of weeks' notice they refused to credit my card. Poor service and clearly trying to keep people's money. Don't use them!
When originally subscribing I received the message that I was unsuccessful so I used a different e card site. I received an email next day thanking me for subscribing. I then emailed *******@support.bluemountain.com and stressed I wanted my subscription cancelled and they were not to charge me. One week later (today) I received another congratulations on your subscription email and just noticed that they also charged my account AUD$11.40.
Tried to send free cards and had to give all kinds of information, including credit card information, despite the fact this was FREE. There was a problem with the page and my cards were never sent. But my credit card was processed. I now have to struggle to get it reversed. Will never do this again.
Signed up for a free trial and they IMMEDIATLY charged my credit card despite having a confirmation email of a Free trial as well as confirmation of the cancellation of said trial. This all occurred in the same day. The contact us by email questions do not get responded to and the phone line says "due to unforeseen circumstances we are closed" once you make it through the automated prompts. Ha to resort to reporting fraud to my bank (be sure to have them block all future charges from them!
In just trying to send a personalized smashup card which should be easy enough, but was incredibly frustrating. I took the time to write a special message to a family member. I tried to send it. It disappeared. I tried again and again, but to no avail. Then, I turned my phone off and on. No change. I closed the app and opened it multiple times. Then the smash up card I wanted to use was no longer in the list of cards. It just decided to disappear for no reason whatsoever. I closed the app and turned it back on again. Guess what? There It was again. Very confusing. I continue trying. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it. Still nothing fixed it. For the remainder of 45 minutes I continued trying. All it did was freeze with the hourglass and never moved forward for me to send. Total waste of my time and they have the audacity to charge $35/yr. For what?
If it worked as promised, I would pay 75 a year because I could use it very often.
Not only did Bluemountain raise their price, without notifing me, they changed my subscription from a yearly ecard subscription a yearly ecard and create a card subscription. When asked about it, I was told that they had to make price increase and that "now I am getting so much more." They will not look at my subscription history and own up to giving me a subscription, i. E. Create a Card, that I do not want or need. I do not use Create a Card. The cost almost doubled!
Blue Mountain free trial is not worth it, they do not stand behind there offer. I cancelled within the first 7 days and they charged me anyway. Try a different service. STAY AWAY
I signed up for a trial period only.
Blue Mountain then automatically charge me a monthly fee using the credit card on file.
This was unauthorized. Upon writing to them they claim no refund policy and some jabber about continuous enrollment.
This is undeclared.
Don't give out your credit card number to anyone on line. It gives them access forever with or without your consent.
Lesson learned here.
Fraudulent. Free trial BS. I signed up, cancelled by the end of same day and my card was charged. Contacted Blue Mountain immediately refuses to refund. I gave it one star only because I had to.
This site looks friendly but introduce an auto-renew of initial subscription. This is done with very small print and will hit your bank account a year after perhaps sending an initial card. They offer no refund if you feel you were misled. This is very unfair.
When the renewal dropped on my account I had forgotten all about Bluemountain from a year before and assumed it was a fraud. After tracing with PayPal I found it was linked to me. But I got no warning of the upcoming renewal from Bluemountain or any notification from them that they had taken my money to renew. Only the PayPal email.

Also have been a paying member for years but after renewing again within the last two month I'm still being asked to join when I log on? Can't get through the maze of questions and pages that pop up asking me to join after I log in?
I had to sign up to get a birthday card. The website says one can cancel any time, or ELSE, they charge you every month. I quickly tried to cancel, to find that I had to actually call someone. Of course, they were having "heavier than usual phone traffic" so I had to leave my number. All of that process took about 5 minutes and I'm still waiting for the call back. Not simple. Kind of a rip off and very obviously meant to frustrate you so you don't continue with the ridiculous cancellation process.
I've used Blue Mountain's cards for five years. The program to select the card and personalize it has been hard to use this year because of bugs. For example, this year's card was sent out today (12/20/2017) but the card arrived with changes I did not make. There is a large, black banner across the card showing the name of the music playing and some song words included. It is in each panel! Perhaps the company is planning to write a new user program or repair it. *******357
I have now tried 5 times to cancel my account. I click on the "Do Not Renew" and "Save Changes". However when I go back in a couple of minutes later, it has AGAIN defaulted to "Renew". I am absolutely furious and cannot figure out how to fix this. There is no apparent way to cancel the card number on their site.
Answer: They won't return your money. I am trying to get mine back because they cheated me out of mine on a 7 day free trial but all they tell me is money is not refundable. They just won't auto renew so good luck. Just keep writing to them as I am and hope you can wear them down.
Answer: Yes there is an auto renewal which you need to uncheck or they will keep taking your money. Check on your account it will be there on the payments page just untick the box and hopefully that will work.
