I'm having trouble with the process. It's too complicated

This is more complicated than I realized. Also, I was not able to add one domain into the account of my other domain.
Domain does not connect. On my second call, person said: domain link was "broken" - but she wanted me to fix it. It's a Bluehost problem - see case #. Then she left me on hold for a half hour, no communication indicating the problem could be solved, one check in then for 20 minutes nothing so I hung up. I should at least get an explanation of what was being done. This was my second attempt, my second long wait and second need for tech support but I got nothing. Two days ago I was told the problem was fixed and my domain would be directed to my site. Case #I-*******

This is not the first time I have created a website but WordPress is overly complicated and not at all intuitive for a non-expert. Extremely little flexibility in design.
Customer service has been friendly and responsive, though as someone who is not familiar with all of the terminology, having things presented in more layperson terms would be helpful. For example, it took me a whole day's work just to figure out what "WordPress" was...
