They got the money from my PayPal account immediately but then did not reply to any of my emails or voice mails, so I cancelled my order. Before you order be sure you contact them via email or phone and find out what is going on before you pay.
This company is a scam. They took our money, gave us an order number. Then did not deliver. They would not respond to phone messages. Or emails. Multiple sent. As the one star rating states it does not get any worse than this. Stay away.
We ordered parts on January 10,2016. They charged our credit card and stated parts were backordered. They would ship within 45 days. We never heard from the company. Sent an email-and found out they were still on backorder. This process happened 4 different times. We asked for a refund in August and they "promised" they would take care of-and we are still waiting for our money.
This is an unethical and unreputable company. Order from them at your own risk!
I odered parts on July 5,2016 and my card was instantly charged the $10.87, it is now October 13... NO PARTS. When I go onto the website & choose to "check the status of my order" each month they add another month to the estimated shipping date. I have called (got sappy voice mail about how long they've been in business) I have e-mailed every month. When you call the voice message says to press 2 to check the status of your oder, guess what? There IS no box set up in choice #2. I believe this business is a SCAM just drip drip dripping people out of $10 bucks or so at a time thinking folks won't fight for their $10 bucks refunded back.SO consumers, it's up to US to report them to the BBB and sights like this.
I placed an order on April 22,2016 and received an email stating that "money won't leave your account until Blind Tech processes your order. Money left my account that very day! And it is Sept, 29,2016 and I haven't received my order yet. When I check my order status, they just keep moving the shipping day a few days ahead. I phoned several months ago and finally got someone after a long while and he said it would be along shortly. Now I can't even get anyone on the phone and don't get an answer back by email. I wouldn't ever deal with this company again.
My order is not delivered after 10 weeks - emails were not returned. Phone never works. Now they say another week for to ship. Its one of the worst CS I have seen. Its look to be a scam
Simple premise - pay for a part, then ship it. Unfortunately, these folks debit your credit card right away then do not ship the part. Lots of commentary on their website about customer appreciation but don't try to contact them. Thank goodness I only lost $12 to these shysters. What an absolute ripoff.
I ordered over 3 weeks ago and still haven't received the part. They don't respond to emails. Terrible company, wouldn't recommend.
Simple order: three plastic brackets for some Hunter Douglas blinds. Ordered on July 14th. Still sitting here on August 5th waiting for the brackets. Projected shipping date keeps sliding back. They won't answer their customer service phone number. They won't answer emails. Their "live" chat is always offline. What a joke of a business.
They email you that your order has been shipped out, and even give a tracking #, when really it is backordered and they hope to get it in, and out, before you realize why it has taken 1.5 weeks and counting to receive, and cancel your order. LIARS and disgusting business practices
I'd give 3 1/2 stars if I could, somewhere between okay and cool. I read the other reviews here just after making my purchase and started worrying, so I thought I'd add my more balanced experience.
I got the old hard to find vertical blind part that I needed, spending an order of magnitude less money and effort than I would have to replace the entire vertical blind. The part works really well. Kudos to blindsparts.com for that.
On the other hand, I waited 2 1/2 weeks for the part to arrive. Their site claimed that my part was going out in the next outgoing shipment for almost a week (do they only have one outgoing shipment per week maybe?). Clicking the order update thing on their site just sends you a generic e-mail that says nothing new. I knock off the 1-2 stars because of the slow service and poor communication.
Bottom line, if you want to save some cash and effort vs. replacing your entire set of blinds, and can wait 2-3 weeks for a part to arrive, consider these guys. If you need your blinds fixed really soon, look elsewhere.
I placed an order for one package with 6 small items and it took 3 weeks before I got it. If you are in a rush or need your items right away, I would NOT recommend buying from them. Take your business somewhere else. Good thing I didn't need the items ASAP so I was able to wait for them get delivered. Before you buy from their website, I strongly suggest you read their SHIPPING/SHIPMENT POLICY first as you will be able to get a "hint" that they never really get anything delivered on time and they sort of explain why. Too bad I didn't do that.
Although their website and communication seems very unorthodox and unprofessional, I didn't have any problems with my order. I ordered and recieved exactly the quantity I ordered and the parts were an exact fit. (Blind Tilt Gears)
Their price was the best I found and i would buy from them again... but I have to admit based on what i saw on their website and some of the reviews I saw online... I was weary about doing business with them.
Ordered parts from site September 6,2010. No parts and no refund to date. They turn off their phones when it suits them though the recording says 9-5MST Mon-Fri. Have been hung up on when asked for boss
