Ordered two blades two days ago- damn near at my door already! Full stars on that! Credit card info was skimmed/picked/somehow leaked however which has created an issue of trust in the site security processes. Bladehq is the only purchase since Nov 2023 with this particular card, and now there are numerous fraudulent charges and attempts. Very frustrating.

Blade HQ is a great concept that is completely failing when it comes to actually purchasing something from the website. I get a blank screen when I try to access my account or purchase a knife. I have contacted them about this multiple times, and their suggestions are drastically lacking i.e. Use a private browser, clear the cache etc of which none of these suggestions work. I am left to use Blade HQ for promotions but am required to make my purchases elsewhere.

I ordered a knife, it "shipped" on the 6th, but it has never come out of "label created" status. I sent an email after 3 days of "label created", and got no response. Today I got an email asking me to review that support interaction, so here we are.

A few days later I called and they said they couldn't do anything until it was missing 7 days, at which point it is my responsibility to contact them again?

Is this really how it works when you lose an order?

Ordered an item on 3/16 and as of 3/29, just received message that it will be 2-3 days longer until delivery. FedEx is actually the worst shipping service time and time again, which BHQ continues to use.

I had a preorder for a knife from months ago. I finally was charged the remainder and sent a shipping notice. That was over two weeks ago and I have not received the item as it seems stuck in shipping. I notified BladeHQ to inquire with the shipper. BladeHQ responded telling me that it is a preorder and that I will be charged and the item will ship once it's in stock. Apparently they didn't even look at my order. Do better BladeHQ.

I wish I could give negative stars. I had a large order placed for some early Christmas shopping and had it dropped at my doorstep apparently and it was stolen. Why on earth wouldn't they require a signature or put it in the lock box? Keith from customer service suggest that move to a safer neighborhood, ship it to an address that's not my own, or drive over 45 minutes on my own time and dollar when I get off of work and pick it up myself, then drive back another 45 minutes.

I waited almost a week now for my order, when I get an email from their customer service saying my package was cancelled. They said it was because their third party fraud blocker had identified me as a fraud. They also didn't give me a reason for it, just saying my order was cancelled. I will try to place an order again, but overall disappointed.

Absolutely no communication from Blade HQ until I became very plain and direct. Over a week, in stock, and not shipped with no comms. Just a word about the order I think would be in order. If they truly cared, they sold me a product they would have responded preemptively. If I was behind, which I think may have been the case, who knows. I would have all Management packing orders. This is the third order in the last 3 weeks this has happened. I usually let things go...

Never noticed the Blade Club icon at the top of my account. Registered during my last purchase. I have purchased 18 knives over the past few years. I asked that those points would be applied and was told that only purchases within the last 30 days of joining the club would apply. Ridiculous--I will look for gifts elsewhere in the future.

I placed an order, made a mistake and left out the mailbox number, that's on me, I get it. I emailed them less than 5 minutes after placing the order asking to either cancel the order or to add the mailbox number. No response to my email, instead they shipped my order and when I called them to try and fix it they told me there was nothing they could do. I called fedex who said the shipper needed to add anything for the address change. I called blade hq again and offered to call FedEx and all they would need to do was stay on the phone and tell them to add a mailbox number. They refused.

They offered return, it's too much hassle to pack up and wait in line at the post office; very inconvenient and no different than bad eBay seller: make up own rule as you go. I wish I didn't spent over few thousand $ past this month on this site.

I ordered an ATC Smarty color red while on sale with free shipping. Over ten days pass without any updates. I call customer service and they say it's out of stock and must offer me a refund and ten dollars gift card... The sale savings was approx 25 dollars. However, they fail to mention that inventory showed other colors of the ATC Smarty in stock and still do now. But if I want another color now, I must pay the full price plus shipping.

I was very politely told to go pound sand...They messed up and canceled my orders, They never contacted me about the issue so I could fix it and get my order, when I complained I got nothing zero zip nada in the way of anything useful. Shopper beware and pray they have your item in stock and that they don't mess up your credit card...

Super disappointed on the delivery service at Blade HQ. I made an order well in advance for gifts to give at a wedding. The weeks ticked by, my delivery status was upgraded to 2 day and still the items never arrived. Fortunately, I went ahead and ordered back ups direct from the company in China. Yes, they've already arrived and my order from two states away...? No. Having difficulties now even cancelling the order because the website is acting up. Was excited about the expansive inventory but I guess that makes no difference if the items never arrive.

I received a flyer in my email with an advertised price I could not get via the website. I contacted tech support showed them the error and the picture of the flyer and they shrugged their shoulders and said it was a one day deal... when they did not get back to me for a day and there was no way to purchase that day... I know there are limitations and did not want to be rude so I asked the guy to get me to someone who could help out with this, and he closed the ticket. I won't be doing business with BladeHQ anytime in the near future.

Overall good experience purchasing multiple knives from Bladehq.com, however I have a small little grip that just really rubs me the wrong way. I'd rather they just not offer a discount at all. Here goes.

I asked if they offered a military discount.

Now, I understand that different companies offer different discounts and for a variety of different reasons. Given their clientele, I assumed that these guys would be military friendly given their products and advertising.

A personal peeve of mine are companies who ask for proof of military service though a letter from your commanding officer. COMMANDING OFFICER! Really?

1. There are countless ways to confirm military service, asking for a letter from your CO shows how disconnected they are from their customer base. How about state license with proper markings, DD214, proof of service, certificates, GovX or one of several military verification services. Anyone who has ever served knows that this is not a legit way to prove your military service lol. Hey, why don't you go to the CEO of BladeHQ to sign your permission slip to go use the bathroom.
2. Discounts offered only to active service members? How about deployed? Active reserves? How about recalled? How about veterans? How about injured or medically discharged?

I find companies who do this to be absolutely repulsive and rather you just don't offer the discount at all. It's an insult and disgrace to those who are serving and have served.

Won't be ordering from them again.

***Again, take it with a grain of salt but this is my own personal pet peeve. Their customer service and email response is slow, but good. Products good. Prices good. Shopping slow.

I just can't support a company I don't believe in.
