Don't waste your time or money. It's a bunch of womanizers and misfit, not to mention men that have medical conditions. I met a guy at Baskin Robbins one evening only to discover he had Touretts when we were standing in line. It was very embarrassing. Narcissist, dementia, stick men, you name it. They should be ashamed. Also, they charged my credit card after I choose to cancel my membership, and got mad when I disputed the charge, and proved it, so charges were removed from my card. That's stealing!

It has given me an opportunity to meet some really nice people. I've met a few questionable characters too but that's life. The staff alert me if someone has been kicked off for fraud.
This is better then meeting in a bar … I never do that.
I met on guy that I dated, a widower, who was not over his wife yet, but I liked him. It didn't work out but I would not change any thing in the way we met.

I checked my inbox as soon as I paid for my membership and it was filled with messages. What I didnt realize is that these were all just generic flirts saying the same basic thing. Even worse when I tried to click on the profile the profiles were no longer available. When i would get matches the majority of the women were overweight which means they dont care about fitness. I would not recommend this sight to no black man in america. Even if you message one they will say you are too far away even if you are not. So save your money and meet them in person.

That's kind of odd how a person put in there choice of age group preferences of men but the only messages that you'll receive is from ugly old broken down men that know one want or have Interest in & that's not on your preference age group of choice bpm lie about how many messages you received and send ugly old men false messages saying a female viewed them or likes them the whole site is a lie bpm also hold back all the messages that men sent you that you really would be interested in, that dating site sucks! It's boring & lame infestation of old unattractive men & they wouldn't even allow me to post a picture quote and every dating site have pictures quotes really strick rules considering the high membership fees

Created a profile and bought a paid membership. Within a few hours, my inbox was packed with a bunch of pointless flirts, with almost every man using the same flirt. Some even had the audacity to use the flirt that said "Great profile" when clearly they never read my profile. I specifically said, 'if you are serious don't send a flirt, as it is lazy. Send me a message in your own words.'

After 2 days, I cancelled the membership to make sure the charge did not recur. This was so very disappointing. All the men do is send those pre-made one line flirts and no one reads your profile. The quality of men is extremely low, and is questionable if any of them can actually string together a sentence comprising of their own words. The oldest looking men always listed their age as 49 or 50, when clearly they had not seen those ages for over 20 or 30 years.

As a novice to online dating, I wasted my money on the worst online dating site in the universe. There is no way any site can be as bad as this one, but after my experience here, I won't be trying any other.
Ladies, please do not waste your money on Black People Meet. Choose another site.

The site itself is easy to navigate and has some nice features. The problem for me was the quality of women is deployable.

I'm a 56-year-old African American male. I am a professional software developer. I am a widower with no children and would rate myself based upon looks as a solid 7. I'm accustomed to dating professional women who most would describe as cute, attractive, intelligent women.

I found that most profiles on BPM weren't creative or complete. Most profiles consisted of headshots only or those with their butts being highlighted. The older women seem to be overweight, unstylish and not very attractive, in my opinion. The younger women seem to be stripper types i e long weave, tattoos and tight clothing. The only real difference between the young and old is that the young haven't gotten fat yet.

I would rate the average woman as a 4 in appearance. The age range that I targeted was 36 through 56.

I looked through hundreds of profiles and honestly did not find one woman that I thought would be worth sending a message. I didn't get the impression that most members are paying subscribers.

I was on BPM for a short time several years ago and decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, I did meet a man on BPM and he turned out to be a VIOLENT Psychopath. Little did I know, turns out that he is a Convicted Felon! Served multiple years in JAIL! Of course, in the beginning he was the "perfect gentleman" until the mask came off -- A Real Con Artist! This Psychopath became VIOLENT and physically assaulted me -- OH NO! Thankfully, I got rid of this Narcissistic Psychopath, packed his belongings in a huge trash bag --- and told him to KICK ROCKS! Be gone! I have had enough of BPM and the crazy crazy men on this site. BPM is not worth the money, not one PENNY! I have learned my lesson and will avoid BPM forever! Never again...

EVERY DAY since I joined last week, I have been logged off (in spite of checking the "Keep me logged on" box) and forced to log in again. The app ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS rejects my CORRECTLY-ENTERED password, EVERY time! Credit card information is REQUIRED to reset the password. BTW, when I try to use a previously-used password, the system won't let me which means it REMEMBERS my passwords - so why TF won't it remember my password when I try to log in?

THIS HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE DAY. I'm canceling my subscription when their customer support opens on Monday

I got on to discover that the computer generates messages and sends them to men I have no interest in. Then it tells me it's matched me with guys 1. Not in the age range I selected 2. Those who don't respect my profile 3. Some who are very rude 4. White guys on the site

There continues to be a fraudulent pop up that charges you 5.99 because it won't go away while you're trying to get rid of it. They don't have a good phone number for you to get your money back! It's a rip off

You subscribe and when you write someone it tells you to buy another subscription for them to reply to your message. There are about 5-6 different subscriptions you need to buy and canceling the first one is tricky, canceling further ones is more difficult. Are the profiles real? Can you trusty talk to people? Based on my experience the other people cannot reply even if you pay. I believe it's trying to get them to pay to read your messages. Every message I get is an automated default message, 0 personal messages written by humans but lots of missing features behind new subscriptions. This site is purely to exploit people's desire to meet others.

Save your money and try some place else. My experience on Black people meet.com. After being on the site approx 6 mos. I mostly recieve fake site generated profile. Very dissatisfied. Feel scammed!

This site is a big huge scam and the decent profiles are fake. They make it difficult to unsubscribe and will fraudulently renew your subscription hoping you're not paying attention. This is the worst site ever. Stay away..

BPM is not a successful platform. Too many people scamming. Too many catfishers. Was not successful at all.

No one to talk to on the phone all communications by emails only. They do not give refunds if you are unhappy with their service and charges your credit card for renewal when you request no renewal. There is no way to completely remove your card information from there website. Have to didpute with my bank. Would not recommend to anyone.

This site runs and promotes fake profiles. If I block a profile it just comes back up and able to still communicate. Which is a security and safety issue. Women should be able to block harassers but this site just regurgitates a profile every 30 days or so. You will also know fake profiles are sending fake messages as their verbiage is all the same. Shame on you peoplemedia.

I am a woman looking for a certain type of man. I see a lot of white men on this site along with men living far away from where I live. This site is becoming filtrated with gay people! Its littered with unattractive men. I met one man out, and he was not looking like his profile. The cat fishing is real! I will not pay for another three months of this again. The same men over and over.
