Liars and Thieves

Beware of this BevMo store, management and regional manager Rick Acosta. My online purchase was stolen from their team of employees via (Gopuff and BevMo) and no one from mgmt cares. I received a scorching email from the regional manager stating (1) need to check my emails because my item was only given to the person who knew information that I had given them. Strangely enough, I have proof of my whereabouts and no one else knew that.
More important, we called to store to have the bottle held and was reassured it would be locked in a safe by a manager/employee named Shannon. That said if "email/phone" thief the regional manager created, how did they too get it out the safe? Readers, DO NOT trust these employees. As per one of the managers (Aaron Ochoa) stated " he does not get paid enough to care about our order". Our police report will also be uploaded.

Really diminished selection relative to not that long ago. Prices barely competitive. You're better off buying locally than planning on stopping at Bevmo and wasting the gasoline traveling to the towns with stores. Out of stock is the norm for 1.75 L sizes in many liquor varieties. Half the store is food and most of the other half is wine. Sad! Used to be worth the visit! Now, it seems like they are pushing delivery orders. Nope. Goodbye Bevmo, it was fun. Now, it's just another "bought out" has been.

The website sucks.

My experience with the sales associates has generally been quite good. But every experience I've had with a BevMo website has been a poor one, and that's being generous. Just now after an hour of trying to place an order using a promo code that was texted to me, I attempted to use a card from one bank which the website said was declined (odd because there was over $1000 in it) so I used a card from a different bank which was graciously accepted. Funny thing, the charge went through on both cards/both banks. And let's not talk about the issues with trying to enter an address and what the website considers an acceptable address. Whoever is in charge of their website/tech department should be drawn and quartered in a public place. Thank you.

These people dont like helping anyone. Went in to buy two kegs and they said go pick one... left me standing there not knowing where to go. They treat you like you're wasting their time. There are far better beer companies out there with great kegs, You dont need to go to BevMo. Returning them is even more of a shambles!

We ordered several bottles of alcohol from BevMo. When the order finally arrived after about 8 weeks, we signed for several boxes which appeared to be unopened. However, when we then opened the boxes, we found one rather large box with just one bottle in it(lots of packaging material) and we discovered that we'd been shorted three bottles. Attempts to contact BevMo have gone unanswered. Only explanation is that BevMo has a security issue with their warehouse packing people and, worse, the company doesn't even care...

I am a delivery driver. I enjoy coming to the store. Everybody here is very friendly. They are very fast with orders. I appreciate how clean the building is especially the restrooms. I can't say enough for the great customer service that everyone here has especially Fran

Came to pick up my order and it was not ready. Took 40 min before I got my order. The employee was cussing how management sucks and yelling at the manager. Felt very uncomfortable. Won't waste my time with online ordering. I'll just walk in and pick it up myself.

I recently was at your location in Tucson, AZ at 6228 E Broadway Blvd Suite 100. I went in today with my parent so they could purchase beer for themself. I did not touch anything at any point during the time that I was in the store. The cashier asked for my ID which I thought was very odd as I was with my parent and never touched anything and was not purchasing anything. I was under the assumption that a parent could purchase alcohol with a minor child present in the state of AZ. This was further reinforced by seeing a dad walk through the line with to a daughter who appeared to be about 14 to purchase beer moments later. The manager said that if someone appears to be close in age 18 is ID'd which is odd to me considering a daughter who appeared to be be a teenager did not get ID'd when her father was purchasing beer. They should state this discriminatory policy on the door and enforce the laws of the state they are in. I am not sure what is up with this but discriminatory practices are not cool and in this case make no sense. How can a parent with a child who is 16 (but appears to be 18) not purchase alcohol but a parent with a child who is 14 can?

On July 1st. 2022 I went to BevMo in Modesto. Bought Triple Sac 1 liter bottle. On the shelf the price $16.99 was crossed off with red marker and next to it was written $11.99. Since I have BevMo account and BevMo has my phone number on their computer the cashier, Chris, told me that I am getting $5.00 off the price. Guess what? He entered $16.99 and took off $5.00, so the price came to their regular price of $11.99. Do you see how we are cheated? Since the $16.99 was crossed off and the shelf price was $11.99 don't you think the $5.00 should be taken off from $11.99? I was told that if my account/phone number was not on their computer my price would have been $16.99.
I argued that the $16.99 was crossed off and the shelf price shows $11.99. They said that's how it works. Please be careful about this trick BevMo used to mislead us. Also the price is higher than Walmart price. I have receipt as proof of this. 750 ml Tripping Sac (24 percent Alc) at Walmart is cheaper than at BevMo.Be careful when buying alcohol from BevMo.

What is it with a company that mandates you sign up and get one of their cards so you can get the sale price? I have enough cards in my wallet and having companies know what Im buying and saving that in their database and having any of my data is not very reassuring. Just look at all the data that has been stolen recently! Don't need another company doing similar things and threatening my credit, etc.

Went into Bevmo on a trip in AZ - picked up a few items that happened to be 'on sale', but couldn't get that price because Im 'not a member' and didn't have their 'card'. Some places will then scan a code so you can get the sale - this wasn't offered and I didn't want to sign up, so I walked out.

Went into a Bevmo in CA (as there as not a TotalWine) nearby. I could have used a few items, but also could wait. Their prices on the two items I wanted were more than I normally pay, even with one off them being on sale there! Again, I ran into the same problem, so I just left the items and will pick them up at a place that when they have a sale, everyone gets the sale price without being a member, carrying another card in an already filled/bulging wallet...

Though I shop at Walgreens and one needs a card there too for the sale price, I discovered that there is an account on file whose telephone number is close to mine - so I use that number when I check out and I get the discount. And some woman by the name of Leilah gets the points for items that she never purchased...:-) We both benefit.

They make you wear a mask and are extremely rude and their prices are outrageous. Never going back to this below average nasty store.
