Very Good experience and I find it very helpful and beneficial offers. Services offered have a variety and significant discounts including a large variety of options and different stores and brands. The array of offers from groceries, footwear, clothing, eletronics, etc. The options are endless and for sure the cash back accumulates faster then you think.

I opened the account in August, have $31 dollars sitting in my cash back account. All verified, none payable, even meeting the minimal withdrawal limit. & when I ask, I always get the same answer "merchants gives 120 days to mark as payable. When that's done, they will notify us & we will notify you." The deals are great, but you don't actually get to use the cash back. If you want your cash back quick, don't use this site.

They literally refused to help me after giving me the wrong cashback after I told the customer service personnel that my receipt is not copy and pastable. I gave him the exact invoice number and let him know I can only send the receipt as an email attachment because it will not allow me to copy and paste. He refused to help. I will be sticking to rakuten for my cashback. I will never again use BeFrugal. I have attcahed my receipt as proof below; the same receipt they declined.

They advertise higher payouts then other stores like Rakuten, but actually lots of times don't provide any cash back at all and deny any claims. I have never been denied cash back on Rekuten when I've actually completed the purchase, unlike here. Don't use!

BeFrugal is an online Cash Back Portal that connects you to the cash back from the Merchants. BeFrugal works solely with the Merchants when it comes to cash back, meaning that it comes from the Merchant, not us. Once you place a purchase, the Merchant will acknowledge the pending cash back within 7 days, making it "Verified". Due to the cash back coming from the Merchants, they have given us an Estimated Time Frame of Up to 120 days for the Cash Back to go from "Verified" to "Payable". BeFrugal does not get paid until the Merchant has approved of the Verified cash back. Since we pass on the savings to you, once we get paid, you will get paid, and your cash back will become set and eligible for payment.

More than once I bought items though BeFrugal but never got the rebate. They make it impossible to report it because the date of the purchase isn't on the form you have to use and if the date is not in their system you can't submit the form. Will not waste my time with them in the future.

Once you place a purchase, they will typically update the pending cash back within 7 days of the purchase. If they do not update, we have resources to assist. Unfortunately, they only give us Up to 60 days to send them an inquiry regarding the pending cash back. If it is more than 60 days, we would not be able to send them the inquiry.

Hey Margaux! We understand how difficult it can be when it comes to waiting for that "Payable" cash back. BeFrugal is just a cash back portal that connects you to the cash back that is coming directly from the Merchants. We work solely with them on cash back. Meaning, that is comes from them and not us. Once the Merchant acknowledges the pending cash back, it will show as "Verified" on your account.
Merchants give us an estimated time frame of Up to 120 days, for cash back to go from "Verified'' to "Payable ". Due to that being an estimate, they can always change. Some can approve quickly and others can take a little longer to approve. Once they do, your account automatically updates. We would be notified of the Payable and you would be notified, by us, regarding your Payable Status.

I used it with Surfshark;they offered a 25% cashback. I had to submit a cash back inquiry, as the cashback was missing. I was waiting more than 2 months for their investigation. They were telling me that I have just to wait. Afterwards, I decided to contact Surfshark.

Surfshark informed me that they haven't received anything from BeFrugal regarding my case. Moreover, they told me that I was not eligible, as I had a previous transaction with Surfshark three years ago. However, this was not mentioned in Befrugal's terms. They asked me to contact the cashback provider regarding this issue.I contacted Befrugal and I let them know. After an hour I received the following response:

"We have learned that the investigation was denied. This may have been a result of clicking on any links or popups outside the BeFrugal browser window, searching using an outside site, using a coupon code offer not listed on BeFrugal, having another coupon site's toolbar active, etc."

After more than 2 months they just denied by speculating the reason. I informed them regarding the reason (according to Surfshark) and I received the following response:

"SurfShark has no clause in their affiliate contract specifying that they pay out referrals for new customers only. "

I asked them to investigate this and to offer as reimbursement this amount in my account as this was their fault. They responded:

"As this appeal was declined by the retailer, it would not be possible to receive cash back. I apologize for any inconvenience."

They offer $35 to refer friends, but they don't offer a cashback as a bonus to solve the case and to make the existing customers satisfied and recommend them even without a bonus...

BeFrugal is an online cash back portal, that connects you to Cash Back from the Merchants. Since the Cash Back comes from them, they will track and update your account. Merchants are always updating their Cash Back Percentages and Terms. We highly recommend reading into the "Cash Back Terms" before placing a purchase. The Merchants list useful information regarding their cash back.

The Refer-a-Friend program is a great way to refer friends and get a bonus! We also have the new BeFrugal Rewards Extension, where you can earn points to then convert to cash. We also like to throw in some Bonus Cash Back when you shop with Merchants. Again, we highly recommend to read the "Cash Back Terms" within the Cash Back Percentage the Merchant is offering. My legal first name is initials only and they told me that I must send in a government photo ID to customer care in order for them to release payout. They do not make anyone else do that? Said they could not help unless I send that to them. I told them I was not comfortable sending that to them online. They said they would not issue payout to me then. I asked them to just put it back in my account and they said they could not.

Always making excuses not to pay out cash back. Including you having other cash back or coupon extensions installed, you browsing other such sites, you clicking on monetized links anywhere online, using an ineligible coupon code, having ad blocking software, using a VPN, etc. The responses are pathetic, especially to say to someone who is tech savvy and has experiences with browsers/other cash back sites. This company sets false expectations and then does not stand by their process. Baffling how anyone would use this -- not worth the extra point or two. Save the frustration and go use something more reputable.

You're right, there are things that can interfere with the tracking of the Cash Back, such as a coupon being used that is not listed on our site. On the Cash Back Percentage that the Merchant offers, they all have their own "Cash Back Terms". Most of them state in their terms, "If you choose to apply a coupon or deal that is not posted on BeFrugal.com, we are unable to guarantee that you will receive Cash Back on your purchase." We highly recommend reading into the Terms Stated for the Merchant's Cash Back before placing any orders. TO AVOID AT ALL COST! I am still waiting for my cash back, they promised 7% on purchases on John Hardy shop, i made 2 orders, i can see only 1 in my profile, no trace of the other one!
Not reliable company, if you buy though them, you will lose money!

They will reject high cash back items and put them on hold automatically. After a few weeks of "investigation", they will inform you that your case was denied due to some generic reasons. And they stepped away from the liability by saying the store did not pay them. There is also 3 months delay between your purchase date and they can pay you. Overall, it's not a trustworthy company. There are Rakuten and other companies doing a much better job even though the cash back may look smaller.

I consistently have to follow-up on cashback not received and they rarely pay the advertised amount. Such a scam. I don't have any of those issues with Rakuten. Do not use this company.

Each Merchant has their own way of tracking the cash back that is on the order placed with them. They will Acknowledge and then Approve of the Cash Back. If they do not Acknowledge, you are more than welcome to reach out and we will help! We provide the Missing Cash Back Inquiry as a way for us to reach out to the Merchant and receive their attention on the Missing Cash Back. They will then communicate with us towards your potential Cash Back. Cash Back is based on commissions BeFrugal receives from the store. If BeFrugal does not receive commissions for orders placed directly with the store, we cannot give you cash back.

They gave you the $10 that you can not use. Just a joke. It says I have to earn $10 in cash back to be able to use the $10 bonus. Of course, if I earned cash back, I could use it. There is no such bonus sign up they promised and overall no trust. I am removing their extension.

It just stays as pending until you ask about it then they tell you that YOU have clicked on the link wrong and it was declined. Don't bother and stick with Rakuten. Customer service was also rude and was quick to dismiss me and HAPPY to cancel my account when I was unhappy rather than address the issue

Once you place an order with a Retailer, it is on them to Acknowledge and then Approve of your cash back. I have made numerous purchases through befrugal. I followed all their instructions to the letter. When I inquired, they "investigated" and said the merchant declined to pay them, so they could not pay me. These guys are 100% bogus. BTW. If you refer your friends, you will never see that $10 bonus; and you'll also have the embarrassment of having subjected your friends to this scam. They claim they don't pay because the merchant never pays them. Well, I shopped at all the same merchants through Rakuten and always was paid. A little weird that every one of them paid Rakuten every time, and they NEVER pay Befrugal. Believe that if you choose. Befrugal will never pay you.

BeFrugal is just a cash back portal that connects you to the Cash Back coming from the Merchants. We work solely with the Merchant for Cash Back. Meaning that it comes from them and not us. Once you place an order with a Merchant, it is on them to Acknowledge and then Approve of the cash back. Typically, Merchant's will Acknowledge the pending cash back within the first 7 days. If they do not, we provide the Missing Cash Back Ticket as a Resource for us to reach out to the Merchant and get their attention on the Missing Cash Back.
Each Merchant has their way of tracking the Cash Back. When we send off a dispute, they will respond to our dispute based on their tracking information. Company advertises cashback that is available from their vendor partners. I purchased from one of their vendor partners, based upon the representation that I would receive cashback in the amount of $48 upon completion of my purchase. I purchased according to their terms but did not receive the promised cashback. Befrugal had proof of the link from their site to the merchant and proof of the purchase, yet no cashback was paid. They continue to advertise that cashback is available from the merchant with no intention of actually paying the cashback, and are continuing to perpetrate a fraud on the public.

Once you make a purchase with a Retailer, it is on them to respond the potential cash back from the purchase you made with them. Most cases, they will acknowledge a pending cash back within 24-48 hours, and other times, it can take longer for them to do so. We advise customers to wait 7 days for the Retailer to respond, before sending in a Missing Cash Back inquiry. In the event that the Retailer does not upload cash back, you would send in a ticket, and we would dispute the potential cash back with the Retailer. We have up to 60 days from the purchase date to send in a dispute.

Earned cash back will remain in a verified state in your member account for between 30 to 90 days based on the return policy of the retailer as well as the store's payment cycle with BeFrugal. We provide you with an “Estimated Payable Date” to let you know approximately when most sales will reach a payable state. Once we hear back from the Retailers, we will automatically notify your account.

If you currently have any missing cash back from purchases and they have yet to reach 60 days, please send in a ticket and we will happily dispute it for you.

This site is 95% a scam. Almost all of my purchases do not credited appropriately for the cashback bonus they purportedly offer. I tried filing an investigation and I can't even select the date of purchase. I KNOW I selected the appropriate link. I make typically 2 online purchases a day and it's happened way too frequently for the 3 or more months I've been a member. I'll go back to RetailMeNot - their bonus level is lower typically but they reliably credit my account.

Stole thousands of my dollars. Once purchases where confirmed they said they are waiting for website to payout. Checked with internals at website they got paid 6 months ago and still refuse to pay.

They will acknowledge and then approve of the Cash Back on the Account. Once they have "Verified" a purchase, that means that they have acknowledged the Pending Cash Back. Rebates are higher here... but what good is that if they are not credited to your account?. The dispute process is purposely drawn out so that you cant return the order because the return window has expired, leaving you with product you will never get credit for and paid full price. Other sites like Dollar Dig answer emails within 24 hrs and its a personal email... not some cut and paste garbage

STAY AWAY from using this cashback site. IT IS A SCAM! THEY surely get paid from the online retailer when you use them for a retailer but then they say, oh no, you didn't make a purchase using their correct links when in fact you did!
And then their "File missing cash back" is a joke because they WILL NOT give you the cash back they promised. Or they say you didn't make a purchase in the right category when in fact you did.
The cash back worked good for the first year but now they won't pay anything!

I don't understand their payout and what's available when, but you do have to reach $20. Here's the thing: there's often a reason that you don't get your % of the purchase. There are much better cash back programs out there. Don't waste your time.

My account was banned without reasoning and i asked support why it was banned and they said it was involved in fraud, the only thing i did with my account was 7 orders and i invited 20 something people using my referral link (these were all real people) I read their ToS and it said that they can ban you without reasoning and wont even talk to you about it or tell you why. They stay true to their name Be FRUGAL, I would have $234 right now if they didnt ban my account.
