I just joined beautiful people.com. It's a complete joke. Their are really no active members on there and the profiles seem fake. They also send you fake messages from women so that you upgrade your membership.
Don't waste your time on that site
This site's policy of banning "fatties" who have gained weight since their initial enrollment is absolutely infuriating. That being said, anyone who would post a profile on a site such as this that validates "hotness" before allowing membership is an insecure $#*!.
I managed to get in using my only decent photo which was great but really that is the end of the fun unless you pay. I can message someone after having my photo verified but unless they are a member they cannot read it. The only good thing that you can do is once accepted is vote on others although you need to be thick skinned to keep turning down some of the less than beautiful hopefuls.
After a while suddenly on the same day two women messaged me one from Indonesia (I am UK) and the other was half my age. So I am guessing either I am more beautiful than I thought or something is a little fishy here and trying to get me to pay for membership so I can read these messages.
I have deleted my profile and I even wonder now if they gave me a little help to join as expect my vote was marginal as definately not beautiful but sadly I expect the thing this site found attractive about me was the size of my potential wallet.
So of course this site is like the others in that they entice you to join for free then hit you with fees to talk to the other people. That's fine... it's expected, whatever. But the problem is the sheer volume of fake profiles and scammers. Just look at the top men/women and you will see pictures of celebrities (Jason from True Blood was among the top voted men)... so that gives you an idea of their quality control of user profiles.
The site does not accept paypal and according to others they will continuously charge you even if you cancel payments. I'm 1/2 way through my first month and even though I'm paid through next month, I cancelled the subscription and deleted the profile.
I really only signed up out of curiosity to see if I was "beautiful" enough to be voted in... yes very shallow, the whole premise is shallow. You will not find anyone REAL here... you have been warned.
!@#$ing the most ridiculous dating site I have ever seen. I don't qualify for their idea of beauty and I can't see why anyone would want to join this site. Even if you are "beautiful" do you really want to only meet other vain people?
I heard about the site and applied, I was accepted. So I'm not sour over not getting in. But I do feel like the site could have some better qualities. The interface isn't very "beautiful" and the site always runs slow. It's hard to connect with other members in comparison to the ease of connection you get with a site like facebook. When I want to invite people to an event, it's much harder then it would be on facebook. All in all, beautifulpeople.com has a cold feeling to it and I would prefer a regular dating site/networking site over it any day.
If anyone has ever tried online dating with other websites out there, then you know how much effort you have to put in just to find someone attractive online. This website simply helps eliminate that challenge. It actually helps me focus on character/education more easily because attraction is already taken care of.
I think the site is vain and stupid; however, I was accepted four months ago and have since slept with 6 literally 10 out of 10 models, three porn-caliber milfs with huge fake breasts, and two Lithuanian women who were visiting my area. I'm pretty much slaying it on this web site.
Gave this a shot expecting fireworks. I know a few people who have found love on BeautifulPeople but it has not happened for me im afraid. I've switched over to WeJustFit.com now and that is looking more promising already. I guess it all comes down to the membership levels in the area your in and this just so happens to be better for me. Hope that helps, thanks for reading.
The late author of the "Polity of Beasts" and other works signed on to this site in 2014 (six months before his death) and found what he noted in his journal as the "most gorgeous woman in the world." She looked like Grace Kelly. They were to be married that year but he died in a mountain climbing accident.
My friend put a terrible no makeup plain jane pic and got verified yet my other more pretty friend with makeup and she look so beautiful did not verify... so tell me... how did you verify that? I can't help feel that it's fake or what the computer says not real people :/
This site is a scam. Most of the female profiles are fake, and you'll always get messages the day before or after you're subscription is going to run out. I actually think the person/people who manage the site are often the ones behind messages you receive. It is an absolute, 100% con
I use this website periodically to figure out if what I find beautiful is what other people find beautiful. I'm female. I've signed up 2 of my female Indian friends & 1 male Korean pop-star for this website. All 3 were accepted.
The women were modestly dressed, but looked polished with decent lighting, no photoshop. Both women were non-white (Indian origin). One woman was accepted with 70% "Beautiful" vote. I thought she'd do better than that because she's very photogenic.
The Korean pop-star (Max Changmin) was voted in with a 45% "Beautiful" rating. Based on his candid application picture (hair styled, but bad lighting), I thought he'd get in with mostly "Hmm OK".
So my final assessment: I'm in agreement with what most people consider beautiful non-whites.
A comment about voting on the GUYS ONLY: white guys have it the easiest. Blacks, Hispanics, and Arabs are second tier. When it comes to Indian guys & Asian guys, it's pretty tough.
I am a guy, and I was a member on this site for a year. Believe, most of the women profiles there are fake! You will see the same pictures appearing on several profiles on a daily basis. Even though, if you notify the site, they do absolutely nothing about it. Don't waist your money guys!
As shallow and pathetic as it makes me feel to admit it, I was actually very surprised at how many women got voted in that aren't even remotely attractive. Men really have way too low of standards. They'll vote in anyone with a vagina who's under 35 and not incredibly bug eyed and buck toothed. I was looking forward to a dating website filled with only beautiful people but found that match.com or okcupid has just as many, if not more.
I feel sorry for the people who are accepted to the site, I would want to be rejected haha...
Basically they should have a disclaimer:
"Please only apply if you are a athletic blonde Caucasian with air brushed photos who is totally vain, loves them self and needs that verified"
Still waiting to be hit by BeautifulPeople 'arrow' lol! Using it along with WeJustFit to try to boost my date rate and its working so far, definitely getting more arranged (or at least more opportunities) since trying the 2 together. Would probably give BeautifulPeople a B-
I'm a returning member and the interface has gotten a lot better. The site was changed to where females only get the news feeds of males and vice versa. When I signed up some years back, there used to be brutal verbal abuse fights, mostly between female members. These fights were broadcast to the entire community. I got very disappointed and frustrated with this practice. I ended up Facebook friending a few members I met in forums and deserting the site. I've been voted back in and so far I like what I see.
I'm a new member, I don't know that I would say that I'm using it for, "dating," but it does piss off my girlfriend that I get so many email alerts from overly attractive women looking at my profile. I find the ranking system, all be it objectifying, quite addictive and I can post events that some people have actually shown. I wouldn't pay the membership, it's a bit of a overly romanticized, "hot or not," deal with forums and hot girls from all walks of life.
I'm puzzled.
I have always been somewhat of a head turner in my university. When I walk in a room, both guys and girls stare, point and whisper (at the expense of my comfort). Yet when I uploaded one of my photos as an experiment, I got voted out within a minute with a lot of "absolutely not"s.
I don't really get this website. I browsed through a few profile with extremely average looking people. Does beautifulpeople.com have some kinda of out-of-this-world standards or something?
Answer: Its fake. All fake its actually a site made by ugly ppl named it beautiful ppl. If really hot ppl try to join. They will be mostly rejected. I saw their members ong ugly fat dude ewww if thats hot. Lol. They get some mental satisfaction to reject hot ones. But they still are ugly. Haha. Thats wht I think. I don't care if they har denied me. Ciz after seeing their members I didnt wanna be checked out by ugly fat men or bald ones lol.so within 2 hours on that site o took my profile off before uglies could vote. Haha. Really suddenly was a pop there showing there our latest member s. Lol ewww I was shocked to see some fat dude in 50s lol. I deleted profile right away. Haha hope iam helpful. You dont need criticism from uglies. Cmon where is your dignity. Lol
Answer: I was able to see who voted me in afterwards. I didn't count at the time but I'm guessing about 50
Answer: No only certain sections are free for instance you have to pay 25$ a month to message people. Or see hd pics and even to be able go into a message sent by a member just to read it you need the membership package. So in conclusion the answer is no it's not free after 48 hrs...
