They don't let you in based on the way that you look. I'm beautiful and continue to excluse me. I don't get it. They don't let people in based on the way that they look.
Well, first of all, this site is not about beautiful people, but beautiful photos. THIS IS A 100% PURE FACT.
More than 50% of photos are fake, which means, that behind them there is no real people.
Second, they are 2 category of women- very fake (wig, eyelashes, too much make up, half naked), the second category is very average, or sorry- UGLY.
Only 20% are real beautiful people. No big nose, no thin lips, no fake harir,. No fake tan, but naturally beautiful...
I was very suprise how many ugly women get high score (masculine face), and how many, (very feminine women face)- very low... WTF?
This site is just for FUN and has nothing to do with REAL criteria-who is beautiful, and who si not.
If your photo was not accepted-... thank to GOD, because this site is a waiste of time, energy and money!
Good luck and many kisses from very small but beautiful country Slovenia!
Nina
It's an insult to people on so many levels! Robert Hintze is so UGLY... he needs to be voted off... I hope that one day life gives him a kick in the $#*! or better a good dose of "ED", but that may not knock him down a few notches because he'll always have Viagra to fall back on... ROBERT HINTZE IS UGLY! Don't support this Chauvinist!
It's a fake site- yes there are probably a few idiots who fell for it, but the whole thing was pre-programmed from every aspect before launch. Doesn't that make you feel all warm and comfy inside?
Highly offensive website and a insult to humans intelligence. The people who go on websites like this there heads are so far up there behinds, mirrors everywhere
Well, as of now, I'm "24 hours in" for being voted on, and I totally did this out of curiosity because I heard about the site on the radio. Sure, instant ego boost - or ego deflation. So far, it's been an ego boost, though they really could've categorized the statements differently. You go from "beautiful" to "hmm... ok" in one step! How bout something like, "beautiful to me" - "pretty" - "good looking" - "average" - and then anything below that gets a "below average!"
These terms are horrible! Who wants to see "absolutely nots" when it comes to their photos! Sure, I put myself out there, so I get it, but it could be slightly less harsh.
Also, they don't tell you anything about membership fees. So no clue if I'll sign up if I "get in."
Overall, I think the concept is ok. People vote on people. I like that idea. Unfortunately, I don't really like the idea of pretty vs. ugly, because YES, it is definitely in the eye of the beholder and it's definitely personality that makes someone beautiful as well.
BeautifulPeople.com should not be thought of as a dating site. If you get voted "in," you'll see a lot of profiles with photos, but very few with any description of who the person is (interests, background, etc.). Most people, like me, joined just out of curiosity to see if they'll get voted in. One thing that interested me was that BeautifulPeople.com claimed people who are voted in can get a report on the demographics of who did and did not vote for you as "Beautiful." After paying the fee for one month of "Premium" service, this report turned out to be nothing more than a random selection of 20 or so people who voted me as "Beautiful." One thing I would have liked to have seen is the total number of votes, especially since the percentages of how many people thought I was "Beautiful" swung wildly throughout the 48-hour voting period, which leads me to suspect there are very few people actually casting votes.
The customer service is poor; when I asked a question I got a half answer and didn't get a response to my follow-up.
Another bad thing about this site is that it seems to have been put together by an amateur (lots of bugs and links that don't work, etc.).
I just got accepted. I know I'm good looking, and the sole reason I joined was pure vanity, there I said it. However, I was quite open to meeting people, since I have been single now for around 6 months and felt ready to start dating. I joined eharmony and was not too impressed with the guys on there. However, on beautifulpeople there is hardly anyone on it who lives near me (Midlands UK), which is annoying; most men seem to live in London. I'm not all that bothered about guys being drop dead gorgeous, I'd prefer moderately attractive with a good job. Most of the guys on beautifulpeople, yes, they are above average looking, esp. When you compare them to the regular sites, but most have real 'Micky Mouse' jobs. Also I looked at some of the girls, I honestly don't know how half of them got on there, many are distinctly average. I definitely agree with the points made about posing in provocative attire, I think this is pretty much the key to getting in if you're female. Also so many photo's have been through the photoshop mill, really, the people submitting them are just a bunch of frauds!
Anyway, I'm not paying for the service. Not worth it, I might have considered, had there been more men in my area, but I'm just going to stick with eharmony purely for that reason and no other.
I just wanted to quickly add. It's not true about everyone on there being blond. There are all kinds of people one there. I for one have dark brown hair. Most of the better looking guys I've seen on there are dark, sort of Italian or Spanish looking types...
They have an unfair rating system and opposed to just letting everyone in, which is what they should do.
I'm in my sixties, and, as I thought I would be, I was accepted to this site. Sorry if that sounds arrogant, but I put in the time to stay in shape; which is something that the majority of women on other dating sites do not do; which is why I never bought any packages, let alone asked anyone for a date. I can't speak for the men; I don't look at their pictures. But calling many of the women on most of these sites subhuman, would be a compliment. The array homely beasts, fat pigs, and people who look much older than their years (and they're likely lying about their age to begin with) is disgraceful, and an insult to men. Many of the photos are as sloppy as some of these women's faces and figures. I'm happy to see that a dating website recognized this problem, and did something about. And I don't feel that they're being terribly exclusive. Yes, I'm a good looking guy, and, as a rule, date much younger than my age - but Rudolph Valentino I'm not. I just think the sight is using the title Beautiful People to filter out the physical wrecks that litter the other dating websites.
Beautifull people omfg they are all mingers wow... honestly there are no judgements there... wow wow wow, I got through but jeez no one has the right to vote against someone else when they are themselves not good looking at all... found this daring site hilarious to say the least lol
Well, I put up pictures of a porn star who is extremely hot and sexy. She was constantly in the 'in' category for 4 days in a row. We are talking huge boobs and perfect figure. She got high rates but her profile kept on getting flagged or reported and they extended her application with 24 hours every time it was due due to inappropriate pictures. At least 4 days passed and she kept on being an applicant with a high rate. This means they are not fair to all people there because she had to be accepted as a member at least 3 times already because of high rates. Even the prettiest and sexiest people stay applicants with high rate forever just because their profile gets flagged. This is no site for pretty people but for people who registered first and can report other new pretty and sexy people because of their jealousy and can leave them an applicant forever. I erased the hot lady's profile after 4 days of being an applicant with a high rate and constantly flagged profile. It is a complete scam and the prettiest and sexiest people just get flagged and stay an eternal high grade applicant.
Im currently awaiting to be accepted or not into this site. I have seen very average people from both sexes as I browse members, and find it overall quite suspicious. At the moment it's looking like I will be 'accepted' (life goal complete) but i am very sure that if i do get in, it will quickly show itself as a ridiculous scam. I wonder where costs will come in... If i get a message from 'Katerina in Ukraine' but i have to pay 20 euro to register to read it for example.
I find it interesting more as a social commentary than anything else. I have also received 2 'winks'; one from a girl in Russia and one from Poland. Do i believe this? No, of course not. Why would they message me when i live in another country? I'm sure they receive plenty of contact already and aren't seeking my attention.
It stinks of those 'Russian women love western men' ads. Do they really think i'm that stupid? Sigh. The more I browse through the site, the more it becomes clear that it is (at the very best) poor in functional terms, and most likely just living off its hype and will try to squeeze every penny that it can out of me.
It's funny, most of the people who voted negative reviews are those who did not get voted in. They go as far as stating the website is fake with fake profiles. Sure there is a possibility that some of the profiles and photos are fake however, if you were a member than you would know that the website has a verification process to label your profile as being verified as the person in photos. I found this website to be a wonderful site to connect to others as well as a great tool for employers to look up prospect employees. People who don't get voted in the first time should really consider trying a different photo and add photos of their lifestyle. I was voted the first time around and found the voting to be extremely fair. You are not voted by just a few people but by thousands of members. So if thousands of members don't think you have what it takes then move on and complain about another website. Would you post a blog on how you tried hitting on a beautiful guy or girl and got rejected because of your looks?
First off, I am realistic enough to know that guys telling you you are pretty does not necessarily mean any more than "you are pretty enough for me to sleep with" which does not mean much.
Second, almost everyone is a model who has access to a computer and a mutual acquaintance with a photographer. Professional/Catwalk models are rarely stereotypically pretty but very tall, boyish and "striking".
As such I had no real expectations except curiosity when I uploaded one of my nicer modelling shots and was not surprised to be accepted, but would not have been hurt if I was not- after all only one guy really needs to believe you are beautiful.
However now I'm on there I'm enjoying it. I doubt it would lead to a "real relationship" but I've had several flirtations with some very attractive men, and I like looking at the pictures. The attention from good looking men is flattering and fun.
Also I today had the pleasure of chatting to a male porn star on the other side of the world. I have never met a porn star before so this website gets 4 stars based on fulfilling my aim to connect with as wide a range of people as possible.
If I get a few nice dates out of it or attend one of the events and have fun, it probably will deserve a 5. Honestly, it's only intended as a bit of fun and it seems to do the job. If you didn't get accepted it could be for many different reasons- wrong photo, wrong demographic online at that time. I tend to vote "no" on guys with super pose-y photos on the grounds that looking like a self obsessed douche is really unattractive.
Lol! I actually did an experiment and I agree with the guy who said show some cleaavage, be skinny as a rail and you will get in. There also seems to be some discrimination based on skin tones of African American females. The darker the female, the slimmer her chances of getting in and her positive votes will be less that the Caucasian female. The average looking white girl will get better votes than the dark attractive African American female with the same body type. I have seen white or tan colored hispanics who look like big breasted drag queens, get better votes than the slim, pretty very dark skinned African American female. In fact the very dark African American females have no chance of getting in. Brown skin females who did make it in, were also showing some boobs. This is based on an experiment I myself conducted and profiles I've seen in the members area. This is obviously a shallow site and don't feel bad if you didn't make it in. The site has noting to do with beauty. A lot of the pictures are professional pics. A lot of these people will not look the same in real life!
Very few people on it. I mean *very few* women. So... that makes it rubbish and a waste of money. Presumably, they just make money by people having to find that out.
Good news first: I was accepted, LOL :) I totally disagree with anyone claiming that this site is a scam. I think this site is above average and don't see any reason to believe it is's a scam. I did meet someone so at least two users are real her and me, LOL :) But let's be honest here: Most women are average looking and Photoshop is their favorite tool :) In my opinion the average user on BeautifulPeople is not better looking than the average user on other well established dating sites like Mingle2day. Keep that in mind when browsing the member base for Gisele Bundchen and Adriana Lima :)) )
I'm just as attractive as everyone else on the website and they REFUSE to let me in. They also hold your picture hostage for unknown reasons.
I signed up for this website thinking it was just a regular dating site. I had no idea it was a secretive club for arrogant people to feel good about themselves. When you first sign up, current members rate your looks to decide whether you should stay or not. If you have on a few extra pounds, don't even think about it. They'll tear you up and judge you. I even heard that you can get kicked off the site if you add on a couple of pounds over time. I don't recommend this site to anyone who is down to earth or level headed.
If you're so "hot" why do you need to sign up for an exclusive online dating site? Obviously something is wrong with you.
I am not the type to play the race card, but most of the users are Hollywood Barbies and Kens. If you are black, don't expect to even get in unless you dress provocative and have European looks.
When I found out how discriminatory this site was. I deleted my account ASAP.
I guess I should have researched the site first before making an account, because I assumed the name was a name and didn't mean anything.
Not only that, but once you get in you gotta pay for a membership. Haha! These people are unbelievable. Screw this website.
Answer: Its fake. All fake its actually a site made by ugly ppl named it beautiful ppl. If really hot ppl try to join. They will be mostly rejected. I saw their members ong ugly fat dude ewww if thats hot. Lol. They get some mental satisfaction to reject hot ones. But they still are ugly. Haha. Thats wht I think. I don't care if they har denied me. Ciz after seeing their members I didnt wanna be checked out by ugly fat men or bald ones lol.so within 2 hours on that site o took my profile off before uglies could vote. Haha. Really suddenly was a pop there showing there our latest member s. Lol ewww I was shocked to see some fat dude in 50s lol. I deleted profile right away. Haha hope iam helpful. You dont need criticism from uglies. Cmon where is your dignity. Lol
Answer: I was able to see who voted me in afterwards. I didn't count at the time but I'm guessing about 50
Answer: No only certain sections are free for instance you have to pay 25$ a month to message people. Or see hd pics and even to be able go into a message sent by a member just to read it you need the membership package. So in conclusion the answer is no it's not free after 48 hrs...
