Beatport is a pure RIP-OFF and I am highly disappointed!

For a WAV file, you pay about 2.20$ per song (which normally would be fine). I bought different songs for $62 and wanted to download them overnight to my ipad. Unfortunately the download failed for several songs. No problem, you should think... You can download the music again, right? Yes, but only if you do it within the first 24 hours after the first download! What a cheek! I can't even stream a complete track anymore. Fortunately, I know the musicians and I can ask them to send me the files. I will also advise them to stop supporting Beatport and switch to another platform.

PS: This is the first time I'm writing a review, but this really sets me up!

Pros: Excellent range of dance / electronic music tracks; house, trance, beats, drum & bass, chill out and more. Good search engine (advanced). Useful charts and features such as the download software and personalization of the website to follow artists or labels that interest you. High quality downloads (320 bit mp3, wav). IPhone app is available. Track previews are fairly long.
Cons: Price is higher than other websites, but sometimes discounts are offered through emails. Some tracks have restrictions on purchase due to where you live (perhaps better not to show those tracks to avoid frustration). Selection of 90's electronic music is a bit limited but expanding.

Literally the worst service ever.

Even though I cancelled 30-days trial subscription on the first day when I subscribed with the website, they still charged me through Paypal after a month.

Obviously, no contact from them when asked wagwan.

I have used beatport extensively for my music. The new version Pro Beatport has a terrible bug in it where they lost all the music I saved in their cart. I spent hours making a collection and as I was about to purchase the cart disappeared. What is worse is their customer services. It took them three days to eventually tell me that it is lost forever. :(. I believe they can fix it through back ups but it just seems they don't care! Such a pity, the concept and the site works but it is just not reliable. And the customer service people respond very slowly...

So frustrating always an issue, have to download 5 times or more just to get the tracks, have been through all the troubleshooting and its just a timewaster they dont do anything to improve, actually they just seem to make the site more user un-friendly... moving on

I've been a Beatport customer for more than ten years: but they've changed. If you're a DJ or other consumer of dance tracks; don't waste your time here.

I bought stems from em with hope that I will receive 4 / 4 stems. Then? I received 1 MP4 STEM which when you rend into mp3, it will rends like full track, with all stems together (not stem as MP4 played) So even this 1 stem is useless because after rend it create full mp3 and not the single stem - sadly I says: stay away.

I have been purchased many songs from Beatport for about a year now. They have no quality control for guidelines that must me met for the songs uploaded by Artist/Production companies. Several songs I was interested to purchase did not have the waveform/gridlines... only a straight line, but the song would still play. If you purchase one of these you cannot download it after purchase. And, without the waveform/gridlines a DJ can't even mark Cue Points. I have spent hours listening to songs to create my playlist and then after purchasing, spending hours trying to analyze the correct Key Note as some song key notes are difference from Rekorbox and also the Key Finder App. Therefore I cannot use the song for my playlist as I wanted to mix in key. I have sent a few emails to their customer service and 99% of the time they have not responded and of course you cannot get a live person as they don't care about providing good customer service. I am paying a monthly upgraded membership. I am now so frustrated that I am ready to cancel my account and join another platform with better quality and better customer service. I would like recommendation for a excellent site to purchase my songs.

Wanted to listen and purchase some music/livesets of best dj's but what a "complexe" site to be able tot reliase that, why? Absolutely unfriendly website concept, useless, bye!

All of the songs download quality is horrible. Definitely not for djs! I always have to rebuy songs on iTunes bc of this. Waste of money!
