I ordered a Laptop battery on batteryupgrade.ch. The site pretends to be a Swiss site by using the. Ch toplevel domain. This is deliberatly missleading. The company is not associated with Switzerland, they ship out of the Netherlands or Hongkong. This results in hefty additional customs duty and extended delivery time (about 4 weeks for me). Buyer beware!

Entering the site which has the. CH address you are deliberately made to think there will be quick local service and no import delays and duties to pay.
Wrong. My Roomba battery took over three weeks and with import duties cost twenty percent more than a local Swiss company with two day delivery.
Reaction to mails was not the best and no way of phoning and it also seems that only the good recommendations are put on their site.
Keep away Swiss customers.
A company that sales battery for all kind of power tools and electronic devices. When I first purchased something from them, the internet address made believe that the company was based in Switzerland, from where I was making the order. But it happened to be that the company was based in The Netherlands and the battery I order was coming from Hong Kong in fact (something not mentioned on the order page). Therefore, I had to pay custom fees when I received it. Moreover, the battery is not even original, how could that be an upgrade?
