That is 2.5 year per battery, and the new one cost $179.99, the one before was less than $110 five years ago.

Rude manager
March 15, 2023

Went into bolingbrook il store to get a cell battery replaced. They took 3 hrs broke my back of the phone replaced it with a ugly blue one. They kept telling me they weren't going to charge me for the cover they broke. After the 4th time I said why would you charge me you should be offering a discount. The guy said we don't do that manager came out kept saying were not charging you for ( what they broke) then went picked up a pack of batteries and said 3 time you want this,is this what you want.I told him I wanted his card he was rude to me. I left only to find out I had to go back in because they never put my sims card back in. Called costumer service twice now because of the manager and the battbattery still shows weak. I dont think they even replaced it.

Another battery warranty story. About 9 months old, defective. A good battery should never go down to 2 volts. They had all kinds of reasons that I was responsible (like they regularly practiced saying them), and refused to honor the "full warranty " stated on the receipt. They offered me a token $20 discount off the $115 battery if I bought the replacement. "Of course" they said, it would have a full warranty.

I tried to write review with the company. Did much research and hit a dead end. I chatted with them on customer service line and left with mixed feelings. Company policy, the individual franchise decide what to do. I made a purchase and North Olmsted, OH store. It was find by when I questioned man about recycling he said, "we don't do that." The Parma Store does (Parma, OH)! I will make purchases from them from now on. # on receipt EWHV05OID0

3 times the price for small lithium batteries...most expensive in town...large car/tractor batteries a little more reasonable - online purchases better option than store for lithium

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY – unless you like loaning money out to people without interest only to get it back a month and half later with nothing to show for it.

I purchased a replacement battery for our vacuum cleaner on November 16th. I reached out to the company on December 16th because I had not yet received a shipping confirmation. I was told (in writing) that "the order is scheduled to ship in 2-3 business days." I was also told that the delay was caused by a shortage of raw materials. But since it was scheduled to ship in 2-3 days, I was not worried.

I reached back out to the same person (via email) on December 11th asking if it had shipped yet. She replied advising that "the order is scheduled to ship next week Thursday/Friday." This put it around December 20th.

I waited again and on December 31st I sent another email because I still had not received shipping notification. This time, the rep (a different person) cancelled the order without my permission. I never gave the go ahead to cancel the order. They gave me a full refund. He also said they are an honest company and that the delay was caused by a shortage of raw materials.

Bottom line – it appears I was lied to. I was told it would ship in 2-3 days and it was not. I was told it would ship by next week and it was not. My order was then cancelled without me asking for it to be cancelled. I could have used this money to buy a different Christmas gift.

Refuse to Honor Warranty
December 16, 2022

AGM battery within warranty period, they refuse to honor the warranty. They kept the battery for 2 days, "tried to force a charge into the battery" called to say it failed to charge and its my fault, abuse of the battery, or the car has a mechanical issue or parasitic draw, which it does not. I asked about the warranty coverage, no coverage since its my fault. $200+ plus battery is now useless. My vehicle is driven regularly, new alternator installed when their junk battery was installed. Rudest people I have ever dealt with and terrible customer service.

Nothing but aggravation and expense!

They must train managers to be obnoxious. I had a battery that was only 3 months old when it first let me sit. They tested it@ Batteries Plus and said it tested fine. Long story short…went on like this for another 6 months but with cold weather it wouldn't even hold charge overnight. I took it to my car dealer to have them check the electrical and computer components…everything ok. It is a defective battery! I'll never shop there again! Notice the only good reviews are for phone and fob batteries…they haven't figured out a way to cheat that market yet, I guess. Disgusting!
I had a conversation with the manager and he had insisted it was because of my driving habits. I am 75 years old and am lucky enough to be retired after working all my life. I live in an area with everything I need close by. I don't want to have to jumpstart my car every time I go for groceries or to Dr appointments. After reading reviews I'm afraid to go in for adjustment. They apparently will only make me madder!

Really really bad company

I have had a bad experience with 4 batteries purchased 2 years ago. 3 have failed and one was replaced only to fail again. The other two they kept saying was okay and now that they are 2 weeks out of warranty, they won't do anything. 2 different stores had the batteries overnight and one person said it was borderline. I worked on my motorhome for weeks and my problems came back to the battery. I brought it in, they said they would charge it and let me know. Now they say it's bad and too bad out of warranty by 2 weeks. Don't tell me the battery went bad in a months time. I am not a happy customer. The one battery they did replace now stays hot, and they said not to bring it back as they won't replace a battery they have already replaced. So give us crappy batteries when we do have a failure, or postpone saying its bad until the warranty runs out. Really a sad company.

Horrible customer service

I purchased my car battery in December of 2021 from 6227 w 95 ST oak lawn, IL. Car stopped on me multiple times in November of 2022. Took it to my service center and upon testing, battery failed test. The car technician discovered dead cell in battery. Needs battery replaced. Employee at oak lawn location, Sean performed tested initially and said battery needs charging. He had me start y car and it gave out a good read. Informed it was nothing he could do. Battery is under warranty and refused to replace it. Instead told me call corporate and win the battle through them. I have never been more disgusted with a business practices and lack of concern.

Brought my watch for a new battery. They didn't do it because they didn't have the tools. I realized after I left that they had damaged the back of my watch. I called to let them know and they were extremely rude and unprofessional.

Bought light bulbs

I guess muncy waited on me. He was efficient, polite, asked if i needed anything else, like different kinds of batteries, bulbs. It was a pleasure going in there and get greeted so nice. So man y stores do nothing. He is an asset to your company.

Racist company

All of their commercials have blacks. Where are the Brown, White, Yellow and Red. Blacks are 10% of the population and Mexicans are around 50% of the population.

Brought in a completely dead 5 month old lithium motorcycle battery with 31 months left on the warrantee (Largo, FL location) and the guy told me that they won't do anything. His quote "There must be something going on... lithium batteries done just fail". What a load of Chinese crap. I like to support local shops, but I'm going with Amazon!

Worse place I have e ever been. Got my phone screen fixed as they advertised on the website. 200$ later my screen is fixed except it was broken again. How hard is it to fix a $#*!ing phone screen the right way. I will never be back and never should you. $#*! batteries plus

IPhone screen replacement

Did not replace adhesive when replacing the cracked screen. Used the old adhesive - as a result the new screen does not seat down properly. They told me this after the repair was completed!

Warranty no good
August 11, 2022

So, I've bought for my business some large truck batteries that are supposed to have a 2 year warranty. 2 batteries on the same truck went bad. Took it in and they said the battery has to have at least 10 volts or the warranty is voided. So my question if the battery goes bad because it shorted inside the battery then it would not have 10 volts. I was rudely told oh well it doesn't have at least 10 volts it's not covered. I called corporate and they basically said the same thing. So BUYER BEWARE. Know up front the warranty they are giving is not worth the paper it is written on

I'm very disappointed in their batteries the quality they are every battery I bought and from them has been complete garbage I would not recommend to buy any batteries from them unless you want issues and problems which I would think that no one wants to deal with that
