I was skeptical of buying a refurbished device. If you have a trusted source it's a great opportunity but finding that source can be difficult. I've had a bad experiences in the past. Back Market is different. You get exactly what you ordered, if not better (cosmetically). I love my MacBook Pro. I did research to find the best the best model and then found that model on Back Market. It's been 6 months and I've had no issues with my device. I was even able to make monthly payments using Affirm. A total win! This is THE place for trusted refurbished devices!
I wouldn't recommend using back market.
I ordered a excellent phone and it didn't come in excellent condition.
Bad service.
Not much they can offer.
Find yourself somewhere else to buy.
I am very satisfied of the product. It's been already a year that I bought my IPhone from the back market and it works perfect. I suggest these products to everyone
I bought a phone here and then sold my old one as well. Buyer offered me a different amount but did not honor it and shorted me $20, I asked Back Market to please get involved as it was all right there in the chat that they should pay me the additional $20. They wouldn't do anything, gave me a $20 coupon, I don't want that, I want my $20, I will not use them again, they do not stand be the customer!
This after I already purchase a phone from them!
To everybody reading this review, pay A LOT of attention. They have a lot of good reviews because most of the time things go smoothly but be aware that if there are issues it will take possibly weeks to get it resolved or it might end up costing you more and they do not take accountability seriously. You will be left out with little options available.
I ordered an Apple Watch and would you believe it? It came LOCKED!
"Selling Apple used products 101" says you need to check if the previous owner has unlinked the device from their Apple ID or it will be useless to the new owner. Well that was not done in my case. If this basic check was not performed, how can I trust that they did any other sort of inspection whatsoever before sending me an item which does not work.
Now their solutions are either:
1. Print a label and ship the item back (USPS priority mail which takes up to 5 business days), wait additional 48 hours for them to process the return and then wait for them to ship me a similar item. And pray they did the due diligence this time. So I'm looking to add anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks time on top of what I have already waited to get what I have already paid for.
2. Return and place a new order. In the meantime the $20 coupon I used does not work anymore and the SAME exact item with same exact conditions it's $42 more expensive on their website, which means this will cost me over $60 more for a fault not of my own.
And what does Back Market say? They have no control over the vendors process and pricing. Oh really? So you put your logo big and shiny on your website taking all the merits for these wonderful refurbished items you are offering to people for "great" prices and the minute there's an issue you just say you don't have control over the vendor. Seems a bit convenient to do.
I purchased a used iphone 11. In addition I bought an insurance plan and a phone cover. Less than 5 minutes later I cancelled the purchase of the phone. I was able to cancel the purchase of the phone cover, but not the insurance.
Two days later I received an email that my phone was on its way to me via FedEx. I went back to the site. On the site my cancellation was noted. However, the site stated that if there was a delay in cancellation the phone might already ship to me.? I cancelled in 5 minutes and 49 hours later receive an email that my phone shipped. To be clear. 49 hours after I cancelled the purchase blackmarket shipped my phone. Why? Within 5 minutes of the purchase the cancellation came through.
There is no one at Black Market to talk to, text to, email, etc. I now have to pay $35.00 to ship the phone back via FedEx. But the merchant can keep my money if it decides I hurt the phone. The phone won't arrive until June 6,2022.
Best case scenario I am out $35.00 for Fed Ex to ship a phone I don't want back. Worst case scenario I am out the $ for the phone. I contacted my cc company. They said I have to have an email trial with Black Market showing all the facts. No way to email Black Market.
I added photos but this site turned them sideways and upside down. No way to edit photos on this site. I deleted them. Turned the pictures sideways and upside down on the computer hoping they would display appropriately, no luck.
Wanted to try an iPhone without having to pay a premium, so I researched different second hand sites. After settling on this one, I purchased my phone through a vendor that has a high satisfaction rating with customers.
While the price of the phone I bought was still steep, it was cheap compared to buying brand new from Apple. The delivery took two days longer than expected, but using the tracking number that was given I was able to stay on top of delivery times.
The phone looks brand new and I was able to take it to my carrier of choice and got it activated with no issues! Nothing was wrong with the device after activation, no issues with the UI or hardware and after nearly a month, it's running as smoothly as the day I activated it.
I have never had a good phone before I'm so glad I tried the website I took a chance on my $250 I'm glad I did The phone works excellent and looks like new
I'm a firm believer in not throwing something away and getting a new one whenever it won't work. Neither are these folks! I've one glimmering example of such already, and I think refurb electronics are not only sensible (especially with the provided warranty) but crucial to environmental preservation as well. If you recycle plastics and such already from consumables, imagine the positive impact recycling batteries, metals and electronic components!
I received my iPhone XR promptly and got updates on how to track my phone. The phone was in good condition and cost less than anywhere else I had seen on the internet.
Absolutely useless customer support spent hours on the phone back and forth they said they would help they promise they would help they would take days to respond until it went past their 30-day money back guarantee so now they avoided that and they took my money and left me with the phone I cannot use. No one should buy anything from this company they do not know how to run a business
I was on my last leg looking for a cheap and well-priced iPad without going over my budget. Thanks to Back Market, I have a well-refurbished device that is fully functioning.
I orders an iPhone 12 Pro Max 256gb from Backmarket and I absolutely love the phone. I ordered it in the "good" condition and it came basically perfect. Only a few minor scratches on the screen but it's not noticeable at all. Came quickly as well. Battery health was also at 100%! I would recommend anyone to buy from the seller I got my phone from which was The Celluar Resource. Just be sure to read reviews and compare because all of the sellers on backmarket are different. Thank you backmarket!
Back market offers a great selection, especially of iPhones, and stellar prices so there's something from every budget.
Back Market really came through on an iPad for my son over Xmas - quality products and fast shipping.
It was really easy to search the site for the item I wanted, comparison was easy, and the checkout process was smooth. The item came a few days later than anticipated, but it was still within a very reasonable amount of time and was packed securely. The item came in better condition than was indicated and worked as expected. I recommend checking out the seller's reviews before purchasing.
It was an Easy process, I liked that we got continual notifications and it was super fast delivery~ super experience!
The product was as advertised. Condition was just as described and the pricing was fair. Delivery was right on time also overall I'm a satisfied customer!
Best customer service I have ever encountered. The phone is better than I expected. I definitely recommend. I just met back market and I already trust back market.
Answer: Bought a refurbed iPhone 11 unlocked, as a Christmas gift. It arrived and I had it activated. I had no problem with the phone. I went to Simple Mobil, and got their 25.00 plan. The phone is in great condition, works great, and I am happy with Back Market.
