First time buying 3rd Party

This was my first time buying from a 3rd party vendor and not straight from apple itself. I didn't want to drop big bucks on a MacBook because I'm only using it for internet and a few other non techie things. It's absolutely perfect for what I need it for. I bought "good" condition but I would consider it excellent. I am very impressed so far. The battery lasts long, it's fast and the normal wear and tear is covered by the case. Will totally use and recommend for others!

Samasung Note20 Ultra

So far so good. This device was listed as in "excellent" condition and I can't disagree. No obvious cosmetic imperfections. I was too concerned about that, though. I wanted a phone that worked and if there was some small flaw, I could live with that. Mostly, I wanted a phone that worked. I've only used it now for about two weeks and so far I'm not disappointed. Supposedly the battery life was to be about the same as my old Note9, but I've found it to be longer. That's a plus. Since it is an Android device, it did take a bit of work to transfer all of my old information/apps to the the Samsung Note20 Ultra, even using the Samsung SmartSwitch and only one item didn't transfer. Still, a new Samsung Note22 Ultra would have been at least twice if not three times more than the Note20. Great savings!

Great Expierence!

I was skeptical but it all turned out awesome and better than expected! I bought a S22+ listed in "excellent" condition and it is! It was shown with the same price as the "good" condition so I jumped on it! It arrived quickly, no scratches, no blemishes, and looks like a brand new phone. I have already referred Back Market to y friends and family. In fact, my sister in law should have her refurbished phone from Back Market arriving today. I do recommend the company and will be a repeat customer! Thanks Back Market. Badda Boom Badda Bing...

Yes I bought a galaxy S21 in fair condition after I read some of the reviews, figured money back guarantee and 30 days to change my mind why not. Long story short I am very happy with my purchase, had a few small scratches on the screen but when I put a screen protector on it couldn't even tell. The battery is amazing and I also purchased the 3 year insurance for 40 dollars which is super cheap. I will recommend this to anybody that asks me where to order a phone from and I will definitely use back market again myself.

I am extremely pleased with my refurbished iPhone xs max. The inventory, ordering process, & communication about my order/delivery were amazing! The phone looks and works as if it's brand new and never been owned, I didn't even attempt to use it until the case and screen protector arrived. It arrived earlier than expected and the customer service was top tier.

Do not buy a used device

Purchase a device at back market it arrives damaged and after 3 different carriers I've learned there's a software problem with my device. Called allibabba and they refused to refund my money. I filed complaints with the FCC,FTC,BBB. Im going to start a class action law suit next.

I bought a S20 from this company. Product was broken. I returned it in 8 - 10 days. They would not refund my money. Backmarket stated i had 3 days to return. Their policy states 30 day to return product if you are not satisfied, and 1 year warranty. So buyers be aware.

This was my first purchase of a refurbished phone and I was not expecting the level of quality I got from buying a "fair" graded phone at a really low price compared to a far more expensive "good" or "excellent" quality phone. No scratches or wear other than a tiny nick on one side and a back cover logo with worn paint. I am very happy with my purchase and will be buying another one for my wife soon.

I'm so glad I found this site! Repeat customer here :) Over the past two years I've purchased 3 reburbed Apple products, and they all have been great quality at much lower prices than elsewhere.

I've bought an iPod Touch 7 in 2020 (I know, oldschool, but I'm an old Gen-Xer lol), Airpods, and an iMac 27" Retina in 2022. They all arrived in perfect working condition and are still going strong today without any speed, connectivity, or operating issues. Turnaround time was good, and packaging was professional. In 2 out of 3 cases, the visual appearance was nearly flawless.

The only slight issue I've had is the iMac stand has many (>20) very noticeable gouges and worn spots in the metal, which you can see from further away than the 20cm the listing describes. This item was listed as Excellent condition, and I wouldn't consider that to be excellent. So, in reality my rating would be more like 4.5 stars, but there isn't an option for that.

Overall, I'm very pleased with BackMarket's products and customer service. I also like their off-beat, unique emails and marketing. Makes me laugh, and we can all use more laughs these days. I'm sure I'll be back to purchase more electronics when the time comes. :)

Disappointing customer service

Ordered a reburbed iPhone 11. Showed up quickly and cosmetically sound. However, the battery health was at 78%; their website stated their standards are a minimum of 80%. I reached out to customer service, who were very responsive. I asked for a $69 credit, to purchase a new battery, including a picture of the health status. They shared they would reach out to their supplier; within 24 hours I heard back. Their solution was for me to take pictures of the phone, wipe all data and return it for a full refund. That's not helpful- I already had it set it up with a cellular provided, customized it and was not in a position to start the process over and be without a phone again. I again asked for a $69 credit and was told it was at my convenience they would offer a full refund if I returned the phone. That's not a convenience to me. I was hopeful this would work out, but learned my lesson that it didn't. Great website, responsive customer service, but not solution or customer oriented. They need to do a better job vetting out their suppliers and standing behind their claims.

I usually never have issues with BackMarket, however, recently I bought a mouse from someone under SPRY and this person sent my package to an incomplete address. Not only that, I sent a message to the seller about this and while I was waiting a response, I decided to call the post office to see if I could fix the address. Guess what? I can't because I'm not the person who sent the package. So I'm waiting on a response from the seller and I've been trying to communicate with the seller so they can rectify this and this person is nowhere to be found. I waited over the weekend and no messages yet, but unfortunately the package was sent back to the seller. I decided to send another message prob by Tuesday and no answers yet. So I sent them a message to SPRY that I don't need a refund, I just need the product sent back to me. NO ANSWERS YET. He received the package (because the delivery people sent me updated the whole time) SPRY decided to give me a refund. Never responded, never cared to ask me anything. So I went ahead to complain about this with Back Market, another waste of time. They seem to not care, they offered 5% discount? Like that doesn't even cover the tax... Lmao. And their poor decisions handling customer service is just TERRIBLE. I personally would never recommend someone to get anything from them.

Buyer beware

The website states that they have your back. I guess they're referring to sellers only. I accidentally gave the wrong shipping address and have been trying to get the address corrected for well over a week now. The seller isn't responding at all and the only thing that customer service has done is to say that they will contact the seller on my behalf. I requested a refund and again the response was "We will contact the seller to let them know". I have no way to contact the seller directly and now customer service doesn't even respond at all. I will be contacting the bank and attempt to have the charges reversed because I have received no product or help from customer service.

The site may work great if there are no issues with your order, but there is no real customer service for buyers if something goes wrong.

Awful company, DO NOT TRUST THEM! There is likely a reason they have cute terms on their site. They are effin awful. Received a defective device and they kept delaying helping my until the warranty expired! Suddenly answered with, "oh we're so sorry..." Awful!

I was skeptical about purchasing a refurbished phone. When I recently decided to move from Android to iPhone I wasn't sure if I could adjust and therefore didn't want to spend the cost of a new one. After much research (Including Amazon) I decided to give it a try. Boy am I happy I did! I doubt I will ever purchase new again. My iPhone looks and functions like a new one. I love my 'new to me' iPhone 11 ProMax! If you're debating I say DO IT! You have 30 days after purchase if you change your mind.
