Despite baby center's "rules" against harassment and bullying, the community moderators let it happen anyway. I emailed them twice and sent private messages regarding harassment issues from several posters (and privacy concerns as people were googling me). I had posters following me onto different boards and creating drama and harassing and bullying me. Baby center never responded back ti ANY of my emails or messages. Glad you take cyber bullying seriously babycenter...

If i could give zero stars, i would. Every bad review makes PERFECT sense. I am another one of many who have left the site with utter disgust. This is no place for decent expectant mothers with any self respect. This unhealthy site is infested with trolling, bullying, and biased moderation. Horrible, shameful hormone-raging women who hide behind anonymity and attack people who post there in need of various kinds of support.

If you dont share the majorities opinions, WATCH OUT! You will be roasted over an open fire. And dont dare attempt to defend yourself when you are targeted by these extremely bored housewives. There are a rare few there who are actually trying to offer support and friendliness, but the crazed hens there by far outnumber the good ladies who shouldnt even be mixed up in that horrible mess anyway.

If you are attacked/harassed on the site by anyone, which is against their "rules", dont expect moderators to handle the situation appropriately. If you defended yourself, YOU will be penalized for your reply while the person or people who attacked you in the first place are left to continue attacking others in the forums. In addition, they seem very used to having unhappy/dissatisfied members cancel their accounts, and they apparently could care less as to why they lose such a large amount of people. As long as no one in charge cleans that place up and learns how to properly handle bullying situations, that site will continue to be the toilet bowl of the internet.

The worst website I have ever visited! Does not even deserve one star. Worthy of adding a negative star rating. I can't even believe how rude, cruel, and vicious the "community" members are. I have honestly never seen anything like it my life and I have lived quite a life so far. BBC is nothing but a gang of angry thugs and bullies awaiting their next victim. It is completely ridiculous. Time to boycott Johnson & Johnson until they shut this monster down. I've met nicer people at Sturgis (The motorcycle rally)!

I rarely posted as I didn't want to get attacked. How is that supportive? I did try to start posting with things I thought were very harmless and in no way could drum up rude comments and lo and behold, they found a way. I really need to keep my pregnancy stress free and realized today that this place is just too negative and full of drama and I will be removing my account there today. I would recommend finding another site that actually has supportive women and not bored, catty, bullies!

Great site if you'd like general information on pregnancy through helpful articles. Terrible place to get support. I'm truly saddened by the treatment most members have toward new mothers seeking advice. Very disrespectful and insensitive women on the family boards. My sympathy goes out to all of the woman who have been bullied, judged, and mistreated on that site. Baby Center does nothing to moderate or stop it which is incredibly unprofessional.

Do you enjoy having 200+ comments from women from the middle of Butt$#*!, Nowhere tell you that the current scientific and medical research is invalid because they [insert dumbass action] all the time and their kids are perfectly healthy? Do you like being cyber bullied because a bunch of spiteful, bored women don't want to interact with their toddlers? Then you've found your place! This hellhole is for the lowest of the low-hanging fruit. No wonder their husbands don't want to spend time with them.

I think BabyCenter is a great resource for pregnant women.

However, if you suffer a pregnancy loss, it is a painful nightmare to unsubscribe. For weeks, customer service told me that they would make sure that I would be unsubscribed to their daily emails. However, I kept receiving them and it was a painful reminder every day in my inbox. After two weeks of this, someone in customer service finally gave me the directions to unsubscribe. Why I was not given these directions weeks earlier when I requested to be unsubscribed, I'll never know.

I posted on a abnormalities and scan for information nothing more. I got two nasty coments from opinionated rude women and then it was closed. Why? Because I asked about information about my appending 12 week scan as I was 40 and no idea what tests to expect as nobody had told me that was it!

The group info said nothing else other then information and advice about this and I presumed this group was the right one to go for for help how wrong I was

Full of ignorant, unsupportive women who like to denigrate reading comprehension, spelling, grammar, and even intentions (I was a "white knight" or a "unicorn" for a woman who was being judged harshly and cruelly) when you stand up to their bullying. A cesspool of the worst tendencies of humanity. How can people be this cruel to vulnerable pregnant women (presumably in the same situation as they are)? It is truly disturbing to consider that the mean girls who hunt through the communities to attack users they don't like are going to be in charge of the care of children.

This site seriously needs to be shut down! Not only is it a haven for backstabbing, prostitution and lying but these women don't respect anybody. They really don't. They make fun of you if you do not follow them on their likes and dislikes especially on religion. You are not free to share anything that is not mainstream there. New topics that aren't offensive but simply just different from the drama and typical stuff are not welcomed there either. Not only that but this is truly a haven of cyberbullying if I've ever seen one. I was there since 2003 and I got banned from simply trying to have a little harmless fun and make some posts that would not be the typical downer, oh woe is me stuff. But nope they all banded together and got me banned. Fine, I can just go other places. I STRONGLY encourage people who want a friendly board to not go to this place. It's not safe, it's not friendly and they will take your pictures and distribute them to porn sites, ad sites and even will modify them to fit their needs. They are very negative women and you will feel depressed being there because of the amount of hate and lies they spread about members.
