This is a great site for finding Dell computer power supplies. The fan inside of the power supply from my niece's Dell Inspiron 531S started making a lot of noise after the house lost power while the PC was on. After I determined that the noise was coming from the power supply, I contacted Dell to get a new power supply. The person I spoke to online from Dell told me that I didn't need to replace the power supply and all I needed was a fan. They charged my credit card and sent me the wrong fan. It took me weeks to get my money back and to get them to understand that the fan could not be replaced from inside of the power supply. I took note of the name of the power supply and did a search on Bing where I found ATX Power Supplies. I found a model that was better than the one in the computer and I ordered it. It was easy to find and fit perfectly in the machine and worked great. I got it in less than a week. I noticed that they had a lot of different power supplies that companies like Dell use in their computers. Save yourself some time and stay away from Dell and go right to ATX Power Supplies for all your power supply needs.
I found a replacement for my oddly shaped and wired PSU at ATX. They sent it overnight, and it plugged right in and worked the first time. COOL!
