Been waiting 35 days for replacement phone. Called again today, got another lie and story not heard from the last 3 people I spoke with. Got fake tracking number from last person that assured me my phone would be here today. NOT! SO NOW IT WILL BE ANOTHER 14 TO 21 DAYS TO WAIT. ASKED IF I COULD PAY TO HAVE IT FED EX, WAS TOLD NO WAY TO DO THAT. UNBELIEVABLE!
I have had this company for at least 10 years. The first few years it was great. Then customer service and the phones they were sending out got worse and worse! Cut to Oct 2021, I cracked the front of my Coolpad completely. I called to replace and they swore they would send another updated Coolpad. 2 years ago they were sending out these horrid phones that you couldn't get WIFI IN YOUR OWN HOUSE! They said they knew these phones were crap. Guess what they sent me?! I now have a phone I cannot text 1/2 my people on and can't get wifi in my own house! You also cannot get Netflix and many other reg apps everyone needs! This is being sent from my old broken phone which thank God, I can still use for wifi but can't call out now! Do not let them see you a UMX PHONE!
They sent me a Schok Volt to replace a non working UMX phone. Immediately got mobile network not available. They replaced that Schok Volt phone with another one that had the same issues. On August 5,2022 was told I'd receive another replacement phone on August 11th or 12th. Called for tracking number, they had not even sent phone and between 3 different agents, all had different information that was not acceptable. I've been with ASSURANCE 12yrs and since they've changed providers, suddenly everything is trash. Customer Service isn't compassionate anymore. They will tell you to hold on, then they'll hang up on you. So now I'm waiting for replacement phone I guess whenever they feel like it. Assurance Wireless, I definitely miss the good ole days with the old company. This one doesn't care at all
This company is horrible. No English speaking persons. Requested "Floof" from me, to send me a replacement phone. Sucks! I hate this company. Go with QLINK, or anyone but this company! THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Took my money, no refund, and no phone. Didn't return my money and cancelled my service.
I have been an Assurance customer for over 6 months, then my phone froze and is useless, communicating with Assurance Wireless is a JOKE, you can only call, but I can't my phone is broke, or write a letter which I did, but have not received an answer yet, 14 days an counting. So I needed a replacement phone the lady took all my information and was very respectful but did not send the payment all the way through I had the money to pay for the new phone but she figured she would not do her job and took matters in her own hands and decided not to send me my new phone y'all need better service I would not recommend going to them because I feel like there picking and choosing what to do and not following company policy's

I'm enrolled in ASSURANCE WIRELESS UNLIMITED PLAN.Im limited in minutes and I'm on the phone with a representative for the 6th time in a month for 20 mins or more. They can never tell the truth about my status of my plan. Called the number to check my status and it says UPON CHECKING YOUR STATUS I SEE You're ALREADY ENROLLED IN THE UNLIMITED PLAN then hangs up, FRUSTRATING. If you need a free phone, go ANYWHERE else but this place! The phone is a smart phone by way of 2009, and so is the service. We got one of these phones because our phones got stolen, and our cell phone providers insurance was refusing to help (Metro, who is also T-Mobile so you know how that goes). We have had this phone 24 hours, and it has broken up every single phone call I've made. The speaker does not work, and the service is terrible. I eventually had to go next door and pay them to use their phone. This is supposed to be a program for the poor to help them have communication, but honestly NOBODY can talk on this thing! T-Mobile is a wonderful company... if your rich enough to afford it. If your broke or worse yet, destitute... your not gonna find help here. The phone itself is micro, the storage is non existent, and pictures? Yeah right, good luck. I know this is America...

If they would send you anything besides a umx phone it would make them 100% better I've owned several 20-30$ cheap smart phones and I've never had anything worse than a UMX phone I've had 3 of them quit working the same week they all do the same thing just turn off by themselves and never turn on no matter what you do I've tried everything to fix them so assurance wireless if you read this quit sending us the UMX phones they are garbage
Like some others, I get 1000 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited calls; I don't use internet. I won't tell whole story, it'll take tooooo long, but in a nutshell--I have had issues with all assurance wireless UMX-type phones [same issues as some others have]. I got this latest phone in June, 2020 and by October 1st, 2020, it was dropping calls, etc. Biggest trouble is battery-life drain. And NOW it's getting 'hot' to the touch. I emailed and got a quick response, but was told I'd need to pay for a [new] phone since I just got this one free in June. I DON'T WANT another UMX phone and wish assurancewireless would CHANGE companies or something to a more reliable phone company. I must have a phone. 1,000 minutes and unlimited. Is great, but NOT on their UMX phone!
Worst service ever not to mention the operator couldn't speak English well. Iwas charged 200$ detectable for returning my phone without telling me and when I called them they said it was nonrefundable fee. Ridiculous!
First, it's misleading to have a 1800 number listed all over the internet that does not belong to this company or at least they never answer this line. I have tried continuously to have my phone replaced. The first call was so frustrating because of the communication barrier and I had to repeat myself numerous times. The call lasted almost 1 hour with me repeating every word. Then I explicitly stated I did not want the phone mailed to the address on file because I had another address to use for shipping purposes. I was told that this would be fine only to be told days later that the phone was not shipped because they needed proof of address. A shipping address is just that...an address for shipping purposes only. I even told the rep that I did not want my address changed and to only add a shipping address for this purpose only. When I thought I would be receiving my phone I found out it was never even shipped. Three weeks later, and still no phone...can't get anyone on the line and when they finally got on the call was dropped and you go through this lengthy process all over again. I will make sure I let every one I know not to use this service.
Its terrible dealing with them on the phone. Hours talking with people who dont speak english over simple issues like changing my phone number, and there sucks arent very good either
