William Bangs Lebanon ore beg to talk to some in USA. Foreign reps lie. Half the co. Say I'm good, half mostly automated say reapply web site is a loop to phone to web. 5 months of this. Slipping thru the cracks. Am approved they finally admitted they have my app, now in review, escalated twice they say, seems it's a chat bot mostly escalated.? The best lie was lol ast Saturday from foreign rep. Promising on Saturday that I would get a new phone on Monday. Made him promise in front of friend. Promise impossible. No real interaction permitted. No supervisor allowed. Phone is half on now again everything works but phone calls. All they need do is reactivate. They did it early this month for a day or two saying text. Free minutes And all filled enjoy etc then evil 10 cent minute message and phone went total dead couldn't call 911 even then half turned on again. Other lie many times is that thAy cannot just restore service to their only 6 month phone is BS. Has happened. Why the don't just turn it back on till they get it fixed in their multiple unconnected systems. Old and alone in hills. SSI and food stamp, had. To buy tim and fone from t mobile, assurance I s owned by them. Have spent 200 bucks for that in 4 months,+ 100 miles to go to agency that help

Assurance wireless outsources their customer service. The reps have thick accents and you can barely understand what they are saying. One lady from the Philippians, and I recognized her voice more than once, hijacked my account and gave my service to somebody else. And now my service doesn't work. They lie to you, collect your information, and applies it to someone else. Then, when you call they say you've been approved and tells you to wait 5-7 or 7-10 business days for your new phone, but the phone never comes. Plus, assurance wireless doesn't have any way to complain through their website. Since customer service is outsourced there is no on site supervisor to speak with.

Assurance Wireless was never a top tier company, but since T-Mobile bought it, it's been a nightmare. With Virgin Mobile, I never had a problem getting a new phone when my phone broke or was not working properly. Now I have a phone that is over 3 years old and won't charge, and most apps are outdated on, and I can't get them to send me a new phone. They keep promising it's on its way, but it never arrives.
The customer service is in China now, and as would be expected, they just lie and lie. I don't think they understand half of what you tell them, so they just make stuff up or tell you a lie to shut you up.
I'm so fed up with this. I contacted the actual company, and if I don't get my new phone now, I'm going to complain to the FCC.
My mother who is disabled and have been without service for almost a month. Spoke with six different representatives and all six had a different excuse why she had no service. They said they would send out a new phone. The idiots sent the phone to the wrong address. Now this is week four and she still have no service. Trying to use the Internet is a nightmare. It's slow and always freezes up. Phone calls drops. Text messages not sent try again. This company is a piece of crap.
Phone died on the 1st of August I called they told me 4 times it was cell tower, then it was sim card, tried it it still don't work on the 11th they said they would send a new phone, they didnt, called on 21st she wanted me to run around cell tower again I got mad so she said another 7 to 10 days I would get new phone again, do not do service with this bunch of lying double talking people
If they would send you anything besides a umx phone it would make them 100% better I've owned several 20-30$ cheap smart phones and I've never had anything worse than a UMX phone I've had 3 of them quit working the same week they all do the same thing just turn off by themselves and never turn on no matter what you do I've tried everything to fix them so assurance wireless if you read this quit sending us the UMX phones they are garbage
After waiting over two months I received there junk phone, the first time I charged it it got hot to the touch picked it up and it was melted on the back cover pulled out the charger cord smoke was coming out of the charging port then it went ballistic popping then it exploded glass pieces everywhere and hot plastic all over my counter and wall, tossed it outside. Then it exploded, caught fire. If I wasn't there to control that my house would be burnt to the ground thank you assurance wireless.! They are liars cheats and thieves. I told them about what happened and they could care less. After many attempts to get a replacement phone, they sent me another piece of crap which I will be sending back. I am done with them for good. Anybody that reads this review please do not consider this company unless you want your house to burn down their phones are dangerous.
Unnecessarily long sign up process and at the end the site switches to the free internet program instead of the free phone program I had requested. What's the point?

Customer service is the worst. Phone calls go tot the Phillpines,they talk so fast I cant understand what they say. Every agent that answers gives me a different response. When I ask for a supervisor they put me on hold and never come back. Its funny when you call the recording says someone will be with you in 30 seconds,? Ha ha ha ha ha more like 30 minutes. I terminated the agreement and will sign up with another company. T-mobile providing bad service to poorer customers.
All I'm going to say is this is THE WORST service EVER. They have people from the Philippines answering calls. It's the blind leading the blind, deaf and dumb.

The customer service is absolutely unprofessional. I can not get a replacement of the not working phone for more than a month!
Their phones must be refurbished that were previously used. The last one I got keeps breaking up every 15 seconds, you can't hear anything, low volume doesn't turn up, they tell you they'll ship a new one since it's under warranty but they never do, it has happened several times to me, and every agent tells you something different, a different shipping fee and you can't even understand them sometimes bc of a heavy accent.
DONT GET SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY. PHONES are garbage internet doesn't work look at other providers.
I contacted Assurance Wireless for a replacement phone on July 25. The phone was supposed to be sent overnight. I called today spoke with Shawn a supervisor and was told the phone will not be arriving.Today was my 4th time speaking to this company about the phone and Everytime the information provided was different. This foreign company has proven their inability to assist USA customers!
Called again on 8/6/2023 to request a refund. A T- Mobile supervisor begin to email about providing her with a good contact number which seemed funny to me knowing that she should know that I don't have a contact phone number bc they NEVER sent a replacement phone!
Your representatives which roam around NYC offering to sigh for acp program charge 150$ for a phone which is supposed to be free! That's against the law! I will complain to the federal agency! Assurance Wireless has to be the worst company, by far, that I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Not only can you not get through by phone, they don't give you the option of sending them an email. And no live chat option. Seriously don't like the POS phone they sent. Just overall not very professional at all. I tell everyone I know to never, ever go with them.
After 2 more weeks of trying to get my issue with this so called government program and my last review, I was told the S&H wouldn't be waived but I'd have to pay for the phone. After a year and a half I'm willing to do that and now I can't get any help with that. They told me to go to my app and "Top up"! How does that give me a replacement phone. I've been there for 12 years, have unlimited everything. What the hell is going on with this place? Someone step in from the government please.
So my phone port for charging broke so call to get another phone mind you I have been dealing with these fools for 7 days now. First they wanted to charge me 69 dollars told them bs then they changed the amount to something else. Being a senior this phone is needed anyway I called 16 times yes count that 16 times given a tracking number that was fake then they could not process payment saying there is an error this went on and on and on, So again today call told oh your suppose to get the phone free so we will ship that out in 24 hours gave me a reference id number. Well after messing with these clowns i decided to call back to double check and nope nothing entered into the system. Needless to say i went off on them, then they tell me go get a top off card well if the cell is broken what good with that do. Asked them do you want me to put the card to my ear and dial? They wanted to know how I was contacting them I said its called a landline you know those things that have a jack that can plug into a wall. Then they said well lets see if we can process your payment for a replacement told them you won't be able to cause your system has not worked in a week they tried anyway and said oh oh sorry. SO I finally asked them do you have a clue when the system will be up they go no our tech guys are working on it I finally said well maybe you need ones that know what the hell they are doing cause a week is a long time to be down. Needless to say I still have no phone so BEWARE do not use these people if you don't have to. Sadly they all lie to you and your at their mercy if you are low income. Oh one more thing I am 76 told them when you turn 76 and your only way to call your doctor is on a cell and the people running the service are stupid you give me a call back and let me know how it feels. And if you do run into this problem make sure you know someone you can borrow a landline from otherwise your SOL
