I started out trying to buy my own tickets to Philippines online. That may work if you have no requirements at all, just plain vanilla point A to point B, and look for the cheapest price. I had many requirements (one stop, no layover longer than 5 hours or shorter than 3, going separate from my wife and returning together, etc.) so I called ASAP Tickets which came up in a multi-site ticket search engine. Magenta J spent hours on the phone with me, trying this itinerary and that, until we found the itinerary that met all of my needs. She was very personable, patient, and capable, and gave me good advice when I needed to make a choice. It cost me $400 more than the lowest price I found online for a point A to point B ticket, but it was worth it because I got exactly what I wanted. These days, that means a lot!

I have been talking with Bolt S. Since September. My fixed income (disability/Soc Sec)(I am 67 years old) has made it difficult for me to get all of the funds together to travel to Zambia Africa to get married and fly my (new) wife back to America. I was able to purchase MY round trip ticket on Friday (Bolt rearranged school test time & came in on his day off to help me finalize all of the details). I will have to stay in Zambia for 2 months till I have the funds to purchase the plane ticket for my wife. I will continue to rely on Bolt to help me finalize her ticket so she can sit next to me on the flight home (while I am able to make significant payments toward ticket at the 1st of each month, my lack of credit history due to 20+ years of disability, does not qualify me for any payment plan programs) We will be PRAYING that the ticket seat & price will still be available the first week o April.

ASAP Tickets agent was thorough and quite helpful. He showed that he really wanted to get me the flight I was seeking. When I couldn't make up my mind immediately, he offered to call back later to hear what I had decided. The ticket was quite pricey for me so it took some time to think about it.
