I was sold a changeable ticket to Spain during their Black Friday Sale Nov 2022. Made a date for April 2023. Had to cancel the flight and was told I could reschedule before November 2023. Called in May to reserve a new date. Was told my ticket was lost, as it wasn't changeable when I cancelled it, even though I had an email from the service rep at ASAP stating I had credit for a new flight. Liars. Liars. Liars. I have made several calls and complaints and "a supervisor will call me back". No one has called me back. It is now June.
Update: I finally did get a new round trip flight booked in exchange for my original round trip ticket, although I had to pay $350 more. Despite wanting to talk on the phone to a rep, it was all done by email. I didn't get an itinerary due to some computer glitch, so I was worried for a few days after I paid, but the airlines has my reservation listed. So all should be OK. We will see if it all goes smoothly when I actually take the flight in October to Madrid.
