I bought these sandals last year and they completely unraveled upon the first wearing. I returned them and they reluctantly sent me another pair. I had a chance to wear the replacement pair for the first time this week, and the same thing happened. The pleated slide opened all the way up, I was just walking in my house, and I nearly fell holding a plate of food. Obviously something is very very wrong with this design, and after searching on this model shoe online I see that this has happened to other people. Customer service told me that you can only return a pair once! I am stuck with an unwearable $300 pair of sandals.

MY wife has purchased a few Aquatalia boots over the past few years and the products are generally very good. The issue I have is that their customer service for international buyers is the absolute pits. The use automated messages despite clear in formation being given to them as to what you need or like to happen, totally ignored and pumped out with a standard message, each time saying we'll get back to you in 2-5 working days. Then they suggest I call, really from UK to US, they have to be kidding. An error was made in goods delivered and they also have taken my money. I'm told I cant get a refund, only a credit note, which given the problem was not mine, I find incredible. I ask for a senior person to contact via email and they say they cant do that! So here's my lesson in life, it's easy to sell good products and a business is best measured by the service when things do go wrong, and occasionally that does happen. Aquatalia are the absolute pits with customer service and should be avoided like the plague!

Awesome Aquatalia!

Dear Aquatalia:
I just got off the phone with your stellar rep Perry. I was an Aquatalia virgin until Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

A friend had waxed enthusiastic about Aquatalia's incredible quality and outstanding offerings so I decided to give it a shot.

Grateful I did! Guessed my size, bought 2 pair of boots, and subsequently 3 more in less than 3 weeks! They fit better than any boot I've ever owned -- even Salvatore Ferragamo! I'm 6.5-7B with tiny ankles and small calves. The fit seemed custom-made for me!

I received a 30% discount on 3. None on 2. Then 30% was offered once again online.

Today I called and spoke with Perry to inquire as to whether he would consider accommodating my request to credit my two full- price purchases 30%.

I was nervous, thinking Perry might shut me down. Au contraire! Perry couldn't have been more reassuring, helpful, and flexible! I was fortunate to connect with supervisor Perry.

He made an exception in my case. I am beyond words grateful to Perry for honoring the promotion!

I'm going to take a photo of my beautiful boots booty and post it on Aquatalia's Instagram. Two pairs haven't arrived yet.

Between Perry's personable, professional presence and Aquatalia's superior waterproof shoes/boots, I am convinced I have found the holy grail pairing of product and customer service.

I will never look elsewhere. You got me for the remainder of my Earthly existence.
