This is a very good app for those who are not code writers. Fairly easy to learn. Needs some work, but I feel in time it will become a great App builder. I highly recommend for those of you who need an app but cannot afford to hire an App designer.
The app builder is rather intuitive and easy to build for novice app builders.
I was able to build a pretty comprehensive loyalty app. Technical support was always ready and easily accessible via the chat bot. Only wished that there were more customizable and coding options so I can customize the layout templates a little more.
I tried publishing my app using the free plan, but it wouldn't allow me to.
I was told I had to upgrade to a paid plan, but I couldn't. I don't see why they have a free plan option, you can't publish it! Unless you are prepared to pay, don't use Appy Pie.
On the plus side, it is very easy to add pages and make a fun and cool app.
I reviewed Appy Pie (at their request) after purchasing a reseller account. At that point the customer service was great and the actual product seemed to be exactly what I was after.
When I began using the platform, I learned very quickly that what they claim to offer is not what you get. The features/plugins break regularly and many of them do not actually work. The app template designs are fixed and far from graceful from a design and functionality perspective.
When I called in for support for these issues, I was met with a completely different customer service experience. The reps were not helpful, they were argumentative and when I attempted to cancel the service asked for a refund for the $1200 I had paid, they refused.
I then spent more than two months trying to get help building the three apps that I had bought the service for, with no success. Meanwhile the clients that I was building the apps for were bangin on my door as the project was well over deadline.
To make an incredibly long story short, I threw in the towel and played cleanup to salvage the client relationship. Out $1200 and months of my time, I felt I should update my this review site with my experience.
Some of the online staff are pretty good and there is same lack of designing. You can't design your app the way to wish to.
Since using Appy Pie for our small business here in Australia, 100% of our clients now use our App for our services. Also our staff can easily update us with a photo or direct forms from their smart phone, saving us all on time and increasing productivity.

This is a great site that allows you to build you own app, no need of experience, easy 3 steps, once one are done, their live support team will guide you through the last stages in order for you to go live with the app at the app stores. I just want to add that Sara was such an amazing help, always answering my questions, and guiding me through the process, I would totally recommend this site to create your next app.
Was having a tough time changing the app icon. Tried talking to a couple customer service reps, all were pretty rude and unhelpful. Then I came across Mohammed, he was unreal. So helpful professional and great to deal with. Totally made the experience.
The new update to Appy Pie has brough some powerful features that ironed out some of its initial limitations. A novice like me was able to put together a pro looking app in a few hours. Highly recommended.
