I have a 48 inch DCS range and hood in my great room. The fan regulator broke so the fan was always on high and very loud. I found the model on Appliance Pro's and bought the regulator. I watched the video on the website. I actually changed to regulator in about 30 minutes with a screwdriver. It was pretty simple. I figured it would have cost at least $300 to have the local appliance store do the repair. Thanks for all your expert instructions!

Don't buy products from this place. They sold me a defective dryer timer. When I returned the unit, they informed me that they would not be giving me a refund because it was installed. When the dryer timer was installed it caused my dryer to heat up when it was in the off position. I will never buy a product from here again.

I needed a small timer knob for a 32-year old Whirlpool wall oven. This business actually had it, new and OEM. There was a full parts diagram for the oven so I could make sure it was the right part. Was shipped in under 24 hours after I placed the order. Shipping was kind of glacial - one week to go 270 miles, but that was more due to FedEx. Packaging was appropriate, and the part is now installed (no instructions were necessary). Positive all around.
One exception: shipping charge of $11 was high, given the slow shipping. So I knocked off a star. But I would probably buy from them again. I guess it does cost a lot to maintain a big inventory of obsolete parts.

Tip for consumers:
Shipping was slow (one week in transit from central Illinois to central Wisconsin by FedEx economy, the business itself had shipped promptly); if you have a critical need for a part, consider paying extra for expedited shipping.

Website is reasonably well done, but better more detailed zoom is needed.
Pretty good selection of parts. Wondering if discontinued / unavailable parts could be found, cleaned, functionally checked, and sold as used.
Best of all, super quick delivery, which is helpful now that so many local appliance parts stores have gone out of business.
The cost of every part is definitely twice too high. For example, a new $5 thermostat switch or $6 microswitch for my microwave oven door should cost less than $15, giving AppliancePartsPro sufficient profit, yet they charge far more.
Appreciate the repair videos on their website.

This is the second time I have order a part to repair my stove (1st - control board, 2nd - switch for burner). Love the videos showing the installation process. When ordering, each time, the rep recommended the wrong part. When I called back to confirm the part I was going to order, it was discovered that the first rep was wrong. The reps seems knowlegable but I would recommend people double check with another rep to confirm what they are ordering is the correct item. I would definitely order again from this company. Parts arrived quickly and in good condition. Big savings over having a repairman do the work.

Appliance parts pros is an excellent source for appliance repair parts. Lots of diagrams, how to's and videos. I have rental homes and have been using them for years. They are quick to ship and the parts fit.
Now, the door gasket for the Frigidaire 18 cu. Ft. (new model) - I have had to replace the door gaskets on 3 of the last 5 frig's I bought. This is my 3rd gasket on one of the refrig's. It appears that the gasket material within a year begins to 'glue' itself to the frig. And peals apart. Even the gasket that AppliancePartsPro sent me decomposed in about a year and I just had to order another. Since this is happening on 3 different refrig's ( different tenants and locations), it appears there is a factory defect is the gasket material. Unfortunately, AppliancePartsPros is getting theirs from the same sources. Because 2 of the refrig's haven't had this problem, it would seem that it could be bad batch runs or the materials from one manufact. Source. Please look into this!

I ordered a Door Open switch, to include paying an $11.45 shipping and handling charge, after seeing one in stock (seemed a lot for a small switch). On 15 April I received a notification the order was backordered. Luckily the switch broke in the working position (did not shut the dryer off when door was open verse not working with the door closed). If my dryer was not working I would have cancelled the order and ordered elsewhere. My past experience with AppliancePartsPros.com was great, this one not so much. I'm filling out this survey on 3 May in anticipation of the switch arriving 5 May. Needless to say I believe this experience could have been better.

Bought the heating element for a Whirlpool dishwasher. It fit perfectly. Still didn't heat. Found a paper inside the washer door, at bottom. Instructions said you have to run diagnostics to reset the heater fault. The original failure of the element sets a fault but will still let you wash dishes, but without the heat. After running diagnostic it will then allow the heater to turn on. If heater is still a problem it wont put power to the element. If all is ok with the new element all is good. Wonder how many people call service or get rid of the dishwasher because they didn't know to run the diagnostics!

The gasket did not fit. May not have been the fault of Appliance Parts. It was sold by another company, not Kenmore. That manufacturer was likely to blame as it was sold as a perfect fit alternative. No problem with the return and refund.

This site is a good one to order from if you aren't sure the part will fix your issue. They don't charge a ridiculous "restocking fee" like some places do (dappz) and they were super quick with the transaction both coming and going.

The water pump under my dishwasher was leaking. I found the site after researching appliance parts for my make and model. They had good information and photos of the part so I knew it was the correct one. I called their customer service for more information. (The reason I rated them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the customer service representative seemed a little abrupt.)
I placed the order online after speaking with the representative. It arrived the next day. It was an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part with instructions and a bag of parts that enable it to fit on several different models. Everything was as I expected! I will definitely use them again!
