Think twice before ordering online from this store if you're not a local customer. I placed two orders, both of which got cancelled a few days later, and since the transactions were already posted on my credit card statement, I now have to pay for a 10K+ bag that I will never receive (I haven't received a refund yet either). As for their explanation for cancelling my orders: they're using Shopify for fraud detection, which is known to have one of the most dated fraud detectors available in the market. I used two US cards (Chase Sapphire Reserve and Capital One Venture X), both of which have been used for online shopping for years, on foreign websites too: they have never been detected as fraudulent. Both transactions will cost me money due to the exchange rate difference (the refund, which I hope will arrive at some point, will not match the initial purchase), and Amore Vintage tells me that my transactions were flagged as fraudulent because the shipping & billing addresses don't match. If that was the case, the fraud detector algorithm assumes that you cannot, for instance, send your loved ones gifts as your billing address will not match the shipping address. Therefore, unless they reconsider Shopify as their fraud detector or at least how serious they take its fraud detection algorithm, I would recommend non-Japanese customers to stay away from ordering online from Amore Vintage.
