Very easy to use and it offers many filters for hotel reservation. Way easier than other booking sites. I tried booking our family holiday on other sites but they either did not give the option for calculating children fees; others did not offer filter for apartment booking or 5 people in one room alpharooms automatic finds the option and offers it. Way way better than any other! This is our second holiday booked with alpharooms will definetly use again
Site is easy enough to use and book a room. However, if something goes wrong with your booking, don't expect this company to get it sorted. My hotel closed due to coronavirus. The hotel stated they would be willing to give me accommodation at another of their hotel, all they required was Alpharooms to contact them so they could modify the booking. I have contacted Alpharooms customer service numerous times, after being kept on hold for 30-40 mins each time. My issue still isn't resolved. They weren't even aware that the hotel had closed. They just take your money, book the room then forget about you. Will never use again!
Carlos, Carlos handled my booking and flight transfer, called me when I was busy with college as stated in all my emails. Took extremely long time as well as calling me 4 times in one night. This request was made two weeks ago, after 7 calls and various angry emails my request was finally completed. Really unprofessional customer service work.
I feel that there is no need to repeatedly charge a set admin fee of £4.95 irrespective of the size of payment your are making and a once off charge should suffice. With this repeated charge the cost of the holiday is significantly increased above the advertised rate. The difficulty of the modification process is so off putting that you feel trapped with the original selection even if it is no longer the most suitable.
I have used alpharooms for several years and would normally have given a 5... until I made a date mistake on booking which I noticed as soon as I had pressed confirm booking... went back to modify booking and was charged 60 pounds for changing even though it was minutes... phoned them and was met with brick wall
Still waiting for reply to my email. Telephone query demanded e-mail response but nothing has happened yet!
When making a telephone booking I was asked if I wanted to use the £1 deposit option. Was told there would be a £4.95 admin fee, I specifically asked Benjamin if this was a one off charge and was told yes. Later to find out the charge is per payment. Only £4.95 but would have preferred to spend it on my kids.

In the days when most of hotels portals have free cancellation fee up to 48 hours prior reservation alpha rooms charging. 30.00 euro per person per reservation. Be careful if you booking anything for more than 2 people you might be better off book another hotel or change your flights!
Booked a 2 week break on 8th April, then 2 days later price had gone down. Been a loyal customer over 10 years, recommending you to friends and family. I have emailed to voice my disappointment and have heard nothing back. I will NOT be booking with you again.
You have a cheap hotels and package, but you do not resolve customer complaints and you do not delete the hotels that are closed and on the website is open and you ask for money.
One of the hotels is Kleopatra Ada Hotel in Alanya, etc... Before you sell something, make sure you solve your customers' complaints because sometimes they are very serious and they are undergoing financial fraud. You can not rent a room at the hotel and the hotel is closed for a few months, this is called fraud.
No problems with the booking or flights for our Spanish holiday. I reviewed this holiday complex on trip adviser to find it has been slightly rewritten by person or persons unknown and put on the Alpharooms own review site NOT HAPPY
4 days try to get answer for one question:
I made 2 reservations, but to be sure at the rooms hotel i got it correct, i taked and chatted with several person: James, Jane, Tom, One by phone as speak by indien accent, which she totaly lost" she said for this Winter Palace in Luxor for 3*" as seen in alapharooms as 5* and my 2 reservations it there.
Any way until know i didnt got any answer, and i consider to cancel, to make the right hotel as Sofitel winter Palace wing and not the Pavillion winter, as this was my question and i wait for Jonatan n to get back to me with the answer!
I wrote to Costum service as well, bot no any response untill now.
I had tried to book online & was really stressed as thought the payment had gone through before the page crashed on me. I called & tried to explain while I was told it hadn't gone through I was not assured. I asked again but was spoken over. The CSA just wanted to go through his script & get me off the phone. I did get a good deal but expect sympathy when I'm clearly upset.
I live in America, and had to call overseas (several times) in order to cancel a reservation. After several attempts, they insisted that they could not cancel it online or via email. This resulted in international calling charges on my phone bill. I have used alpharooms.com in the past and had been pretty satisfied with my experience with them. Their prices were great and I had found it fairly easy to make a reservation, even from across the pond. Unfortunately, it's not easy to make changes or cancellations. If you live in the US, I wouldn't recommend them.

I booked a hotel so a 4 year child can hav use of a swimming pool plus hav playing or enjoying space but this hotel is only for adults the pool is 5ft deep and no small child can swim in this only adults the description u give r for their sister hotel but we r put in this diabolical hotel I hav been cheated by yourselves and overcharged it is only 2 star it smells of cigarettes everywhere
Tried to book package holiday and my mistake the flight could not book so got call of them this was my mistake but I'm glad because each time you use your card they charge 4-95 admin rip off so rebooked and paid in full
We attempted to book a hotel in Lisbon on the Internet and after entering the hotel of our choice, together with the date of arrival and date of departure, the web page would not let us go ahead with the booking.
After several attempts, I went to the Alpha Rooms advertising page and eventually completed the booking process. (Something I would have preferred not to do.)
There was no email confirmation and I got a bit anxious that it might have been a scam by an unauthorised site.
In the event I telephoned through to Alpha Rooms as I could not get into My Account. I was told that there had been some problems, and suggested that I should use a different browser in future. Satisfied once I was assured that the booking had been received, I asked for an email confirmation so that I can print out the booking form to hand to the hotel on arrival in Lisbon.
Still waiting for the email as I speak.

Offers nothing. Next day after booking my room was available without a city view room for 50 euro cheaper and I was not allowed avail of this
