AVOID - be very very careful with this company - better still avoid completely - they will rip you off and take advantage of an emergency situation - this is a scam - the initial estimate when booking was £49.50 - turned into over £500 - fitter was very very intimidating demanding payment - the charge included £130 for 20 minutes labour and a massive £400 for a part that costs £40 in Screw Fix - they are a disgrace and should not be allowed to do this - I am taking the matter to small claims court - AVOID

This is a scam. Called locksmith who said I needed a lock mechanism change. Asked me for £560 for a new one, threatened to leave my house unsecured unless I paid. Fitted a temp lock and I had to wait 4 days before he came back to "finish" the job. Replaced it with a rusty mechanism. When I complained the customer services person suddenly became unreachable no reply. Reported to trading standard. Locksmith name was Timi.

I got locked out due to a faulty lock. As I didn't have my phone I asked my new neighbour to find a locksmith and he gave me the number of Allservices, believing it was a local locksmith. They were very expensive but also did the cheapest job possible… only replacing the external barrel not the whole lock…so I now need two keys… one for inside and one for outside. They have refused my request for a detailed invoice stating the lock they used… presumably because it was extortion to charge what they did for a barrel that can be bought for less than £5 online. I do intend to report them to trading standards

The technician came to the rescue! He was professional, incredibly knowledgable, efficient, affordable, and just a wonderful guy in general. He arrived late after an already long day to guarantee I had a functional garage door. I strongly advise you to utilise this firm. Thanks All Team!

Way overpriced parts,
£50 plus vat for a cheap £11 lock.
Door gear £160 plus VAT £60 including VAT all over the internet or from amazon.
Took a week with many different excuses to complete the job with a bill at the end that would have paid for a whole new front door. Took a call to the main office to get the job finished then ignored by customer services about pricing.

Billed by this company, worked booked by another. Called a different one again. Lots of websites linked to them.

This company should not operate in the UK, they were called to fix a door, they sent an extremely dirty looking engineer who spent less than 5 minutes and charged £70. After he left in less than 24 hours the problem worsened. I called this company to report the matter and they wanted to charge again for a job they had not done properly first time. They will not even listen to hear all that happened before saying that I have to pay again. They decided to leave me un attended many times during the call just because I was querying why I have to pay again. They told me we are busy we can't send any one to you without another charge. They are very unprofessional, unfriendly and care less about customer, all they care about is money and it doesn't matter if the job is not properly done. This is the second time this company has done this.

Turned up on time, did a good job, but the head office were trying to get me to make payment before the job was completed. Also the guy rang and quoted, but the price given was without VAT, so ended up very over priced

One of the worst services of my life. I paid a very high price and after a month i had the same problem. When I called them back they told me that there are no guarantees for the service and that if I want I can use another plumber paying the same price again

Was given a quote to install a new boiler, agreed quote and booked a date for installation. On day of installation the engineer rang and told us it would cost another £400 - came up with all sorts of excuses, it was Winter, was a different boiler make to existing one, etc. Rang the office and spoke to assistant manager who told us he shouldn't have told us that and it was the price quoted. He was meant to ring the engineer and get back to us but he didn't. Rang again and spoke to someone else who told us it was at the discretion of the engineer. Asked to speak to the manager and was told he would call us. Never did! Do not use this company. Just because we had no heating or hot water they think they can rip you off. Avoid at all costs!

Engineer booked booked for an 8am to 12pm slot and nobody turned up. I took the day off for it, no courtesy call, nothing. Don't bother wasting your time.

Appaling customer service. Come acroos as careless, unintersested to satisfy customers. Plumber sent to my place and broke my panel bath before doing any work. I didn't even ask from compensantion but there wasn't any remorse from the plumber or customer service. I just wanted to get a different plumber but after a day waiting for a clear answer I decided to cancel because I could not trust the way this company works. Unpleasent people giving the impression that they don't want to work. I wouldn't recomend it to my worst enemy.

Avoid this company. Following a burglary yesterday at my property, Allservices4u sent a Locksmith from "Briggs Locksmiths" Huddersfield.

The locksmith arrived with a really poor attitude like I was a huge inconvenience to him, he stunk of B.O, he complained that parking across the road was not ideal because "I'll have to carry my tools" and charged me £58.80 for the call out and £30 to replace the lock in the front door.

He also quoted me £100 labour and £100 for the lock if I wanted the back door lock replacing as well however, because of his poor attitude I refused.

The following day crime prevention officers came to give advice for additional security in my home, the lock he installed was rated level 0 and wasn't insurance approved as well as the lock installed was the wrong size meaning an opportunistic thief could have easily broken the lock and gained entry to my property.

I had to call out a reputable locksmith today to replace the lock in the front door as well as the back door and charged me £60 less then I was quoted yesterday for the back door and only £85 for the front door which now has a level 3 insurance approved lock.

Mortice lock replaced and two keys supplied. The job took 1 hour maximum and received an invoice for £318.00.

This company is a money making scam. When my front door wasn't opening I searched Google for a local locksmith. There was a phone number on Google with an address an my local area. I called the number and was told someone could be sent out as soon as possible and was told the price is £59 + VAT and a new lock starts at £20+ VAT with no additional labour charges.

When the locksmith arrived he said he would need to change the lock and the gearbox of the door and also the price for labour will be £89+ VAT. He quoted me in total £520. I questioned the ridiculous price and was told this is a special door and you require a special gearbox for a composite door and not an ordinary upvc gearbox. I managed to get the locksmith to agree to the price down to £310. He told me that he only works on contract for All Services 4 u and that they charge whatever they like for their parts.

I checked the prices online and a lock was costing maximum £20 and a gearbox at maximum £60 for a good quality part. In total this would cost no more then £200.

The gearbox he installed was also a standard gearbox for a upvc door. Even on the invoice it states the part as a upvc gearbox.

I checked the local address that they had listed on Google and there is no All Services For U office there, instead it is a dry cleaners shop.

This company is making ridiculous money from people by exploring their inexperience and lack of knowledge of the parts and costs involved involved with work that is being done. They also lie to get you to agree to their work.

The full price I was quoted was given after the locksmith had broken the old lock and taken the handle and mechanisms off the door. Therefore, I had no other choice but to agree with the work as my door would've been insecure had I refused the work at this point.

I have evidence of their lies and dodgy practices and will be getting in touch with the relevant authorities about them.

Please stay away from this company.

Fixed my door lock.We got locked out and the specialist showed up in about half an hour and in about 10 minutes had the door open, very good service.

They lure you out with cheaper call out charge. After that, they hit you with crazy prices. Please please avoid it at all costs.
