This does the job just fine and is cheaper than a replacement OEM filter. Easily installed and fits perfectly. My water is clean and my ice maker runs like a top.
I'm concerned about what's in the water I drink. Although tapwater is usually deemed safe in the Milwaukee area, I'd rather have the peace of mind, knowing that other chemicals are being filtered out of my water.
