Alight is not allowing me to rollover my account, they are not allowing me to access my account, and they are charging me fees to keep it open. I guess that is thousands of dollars that I will never see. F*** alight.
This company is does not even stay consistent with their own policy's and procedures when it comes to FSA and HSA Accounts. I have had claims denied that are the exact same as others that have been approved. Their customer service does not even try to make sense of it they just say it is what it is.
I am a customer at ASOS for a long time. And unfortunately, I'm done with this company after they never figure out with my refund on $450-600. That's a lot of money for me. I dropped my three packages more than a month ago. They never receive my packages therefore no refund for me because I don't gave proof of postage. They couldn't even provide me with a USPS tracking number that they usually send with the order. With that said, if you just drop your package without a proof of postage, you are losing you money. You are responsible for that and they will not help you with that and it us no matter how much you spend over there!
Called and the guy couldn't be bothered helping me.So I called back hoping to find somebody else and I've been in the queue waiting to talk to someone for over an hour now and decided to wait for a call back which has also been 30 minutes.
I am a financial advisor, working with a client to roll his 401k out of Alight. We had to call them every day for over a week to get an account closed, and then they said they would send the check overnight, using a provided FedEx account number. They did not send the check. When the client called them back to ask where the check was, they claimed he did not call them back with an account number. When he threw a fit, they checked the recording and found that in fact, they had promised to send the check, they apologized and promised to send it. Once again, not check. This is the worst financial custodian experience I have had, and am looking into filing something with FINRA on behalf of the client
- I simply needed to reset my password, you can only do this through the customer service number. No chat, no ability to reset your own password.
- Available hours are 7-6 Central time, no options over the weekend when I can commit to 90-120 minutes of hold time to speak to someone. I am not sure how a company can get away with this type of service. I am not sure who I can report this company to... maybe the BBB?
- I feel bad for any company that signs up with this company.
- My company utilizes them for our HSA plan.
I can't login on my iPhone. It's just an indefinite loop of changing my password and never getting in so I have to use my iPad. Then there's a notification letting me know I have messages but when I click on it it's just a blank page. Then I submitted a dental claim on my FSA then months later they requested a bill which I added when I submitted the payment but they required more info that I wasn't told of until I called them. It's so frustrating to use. Thank goodness once I use up the funds I'm done with it.
My company does not work with this company, so I have absolutely no idea why this company has my information or why they keep spamming me with emails. All I know is it leaves a bad taste in my mouth whenever a company spams your email with no option to unsubscribe. Judging by the other reviews here, this company does not seem to be viewed very favorably, so I can't say I'm surprised. I've reported the business to the FCC because I never signed up for any of this.
I live in the UK and a former employee of RJR American. I have tried 8 times to get a response from Alight in the USA. Each time they ask for my Social Security number, date of birth and then tell me that there is 50- 76 minute wait time to get a response. I tried asking my question through their secure messaging system but no response after 3 days Appalling, Europe it would be closed down permaently
I called to have a VOE check on a past employee. Never have I been told to find this service online with a quick hang up, completely rude. Then I go online and looks like their whole HR team has been outsourced and there are no external HR services visible to request the VOE.
I am shocked to find a company operating like this.
Customer service 401k "specialists" can't answer simple questions. Three reps each gave me a different answer to the same questions. When escalated to the "experts" the questions still remain unanswered after more than a week. Abbott should be embarrased after selecting this company to represent them.
Agents that answer the phone are not educated on what the processes are. They cannot answer simple questions and when asked to talk to a manager they are ALWAYS too busy with other customers and you have to book an appointment to have them call you back in a day or two. Supervisors also can not answer the questions, just keep repeating the same statement over and over again as they do not have any answers. When asked to speak to someone else they hung up the phone. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this company. I would have gave them no stars but it was not an option.
Alight Financial Solutions is one of the worse 401k administrators.
I had dividends on one of my funds that wasn't paid to my account.
No one at Alight Financial Solutions would help me or give me any
Information on why that happened. I believe the people working
For them are uncaring and incompetent.
Getting a reimbursement is an almighty task of hoops and unnecessary hyper-redundancy multiplied. No customer service, calltaker doesn't answer with or give name. Absolute cluster.
Phone call after phone call after phone call, email after email after email and still nothing. My former employer, garbage UPMC sent my money here against my wishes. It's ben the biggest hassle ever to try and get this so called company to roll over my IRA to my new IRA. No matter how many times I email them the proper paper work, to the email address they gave me, they never ever seem to get the paper work. Even though the people I cc in the email receive their copy of the email, Alight never seems to get the paper work... fishy much. If they try to tell me that they didn't receive my paperwork for a fourth time when I call them today I will be calling the BBB on them.
I'm retired from Duke Energy for five years now. I got a statement from alight (who "runs" the FSA) saying I owned $37,000! After two hours on hold I was told "sorry, it was a mistake. A glitch in the system." Well, it gave me f**king chest pains and I am right now pursuing legal action. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
Customers service have no sympathy, just haven't no care in the world about there customers. It's not about the No, your situation doesn't allow me to get hardship. It's about being able to speak to someone about your money that hears you out points you in the right direction, but instead I was cut you off while i was talkingwith the same sentenceover and over this is not a load, what do you want. This was my 3rd time speaking to someone there 2 over the phone and once through the app and I'm just not pleased with the customers service at all. The App lady dropped the conversation in the middle of me texting and said thanks for talking with her. Thanks for listening
Should be a zero star!
SO DUMB! My team and I have spent half the year doing their job for them. No one in their customer service helps. They have sent callers back to us so what is the point of them?!?
No solutions. DO NOT USE THEIR HSA FSA - they are not compliant and do not understand compliance.
They are cheap because they are CHEAP! Will end up costing you $$$
SAVE YOURSELF - DO NOT USE!
Cannot share pics of personal information - but do your due diligence before hiring this company!
Incompetent and the worst customer service possible all wrapped into terrible phone connections, staff that is clueless, hang-ups, and basically doing nothing. Stay away, employers
It takes two hours to get connected if you call their customer service. And they keep charging fees on my HSA account and never respond to any requests.
Answer: It's a legimate scam company. It has offices and many employees, but fails on adminsitering benefits, wrongdfully denies claims,. And has no effective customer service. Whatever little they are paid by the company that hires them is a ripoff.
Answer: They are often imposible to reach in a sense because the computer system has limited topics, none related to Alight screw-ups, and if you pick the least immaterial choice, the rep you reaches is not emplowred to solve problems, only to report them to the indifferent Alight higher-ups in the U.S.
Answer: They weer picked by the company from which I retired - has to be bacasue they work cheap - but are not worth what they charge. Who hires a BBB D- rated company?
