If you've ever been to this shop, you know how busy they are. I'm surprised they take the time to do small orders. Over the past year I've purchased 12 ounces of gold from these guys. One bar each month does not make me a big customer; however, at the end of the day I've always felt treated with respect and happy about my purchases.
I usually place small orders of 1 oz coins in quantities of 1-3 at a time. Their attitude is really rude, I assume because I buy only small quantities. If they are so busy that they cannot handle small orders, then they probably should not be handling them at all rather than providing a worthless experience for such customers. They used ship my orders via USPS without signature confirmation, who leaves the boxes outside. And when gold prices fall significantly, they increase their processing fee. I was stuck with them as I did not know of any other places to buy bullion, otherwise would never have bought from them. Now that I have alternatives, I haven't bought from AJPM in years. They are probably fine with people living in OR and can visit their store in person and speak without an accent.
I've gone to AJPM for quite a few years. I'd agree with some of the other people here, that they had a rough patch a while back. However, they're back running like never before. They always have product in stock and if I'm ordering something it's always delivered on time.
No hidden fees, no hidden charges, no hidden anything. They're always up front and straight forward. AJPM will always have my business.
I purchased gold coins from AJ&PM twice in the last 2 months. On both occasions, the customer service was excellent. The representatives were courteous and helpful, and since I was new at this, they explained the purchase process in great detail. Both purchases were shipped to me the same day that my check cleared the bank, and I received both within 2 days of shipment. The coins were exactly what I ordered and in pristine condition. I will be doing business with AJ&PM in the future.
AJPM downtown is the most honest and legit place for all precious metals and jewelry. I and all my associates only use them. Metals are a business built on trust. Everyone needs to understand that your word is bond. And it's a serious business. They have total integrity and anyone on either end of this business has to... 10 star rating top reccomendation
When I was placing my order, the AJPM Guy locked the price and asked me for the Check Number. Since I did not have the check book handy, he asked me to call back with the check number. When I tried reaching them the line went into voice message and I left a message with my Check Number. I was expecting a call from their customer Service to the confirm that they indeed got my check number so that I can mail my check. But they did not call me back. After 3 weeks one of their guy calls me and started threatening me straight away without knowing the details. How the hell I can trust a company/store who even cannot call me to confirm the my check number. Worst customer service I even seen.
One of the worst experience ever. These $#*!s take your order and they don't have a clue where the order went. I have placed my order even the address is on my check, they seem to have sent (half of my calls about status went to voicemail) to my address, after a lot of fight they returned my money saying, I have not picked my parcel at post office and they sent me an empty envelop which according to them was shipped earlier which was addressed to an unknown area which doesn't even fall in my county. I lost 50$ because the gold price fell... they didn't even have minimum courtesy to return original amount paid.
AJPM gold bullion site the worst customer service - Dont call this company. Customer service is worst. They think all the buyers are beggars. CS is real horrible. They don't even talk to you for even 10 seconds when the gold price drops.
Worst Gold bullion dealer I've ever dealt with! Rude, arrogant. They lost their BBB rating in 2009. It was REVOLKED by The Better Business Bureau and they have an "F" rating with 22 complaints! Horrible outfit.

Did a large amount of business in 1998 and 1999 with AJPM (over 100oz. AU per year and never had a problem. Last two years on a orders of 1000 S. E. it was hard to get a price or firm del. Date and acted like they were doing me favor. APMX and Gainsville have filled orders of 2K and 4K S. E. and rounds without a hitch. Work with the best and leave the rest.
This is the only place I go to buy gold and silver and they are very dependable! Just a great company and have always had a great experience dealing with them. Highly recommended!
This place was amazing! Sold some gold. Got an amazing price. No haggling. Was out the door with cash in my pocket in less than 5 minutes. Dont take your gold anywhere else!

Did you receive an email/confirmation after you placed an order? Just like any other eCommerce site...
What if the customer rep tells you that you placed order at higher price?
What is the shipping policy? I knew that the shipping is free for ten coins or more.
Do they ship in a week/ two weeks/ three weeks?
Why to hide each thing when you are buying gold legally? I don't understand this...

AJPM - BIG FRAUD - NEVER delivers - AJPM sucks... BIG FRAUD COMPANY SITE CUST SERV - They act as if they are in rush and never delivered our order of 10 coins. We lost over 9K USD on this and 5 months and hell lot of time emailing and calling AJPM... they give u invalid tracking numbers which are FAKE and they keep saying we shipped it this week everytime u call them... AJPM is all SET to loose out on all customers. Tell anybody who wants to buy gold NOT to BUY from AJPM - NEVER TRY BUYING FROM AJPM AND BE A LOSER... DONT LOOSE MONEY... TIME... ENERGY... PATIENCE

Never had any problems with confirmed price. A few times deliver was a little slow but always received in good shape.
