Top Positive Review

“Overall good site, also their twin sites.”

Michael J.

I have been a member on and off for several years and I have talked with many. Some are seriously interested, some are desperate looking for a better life and some are trying to get money, but comparing to other sites (and I have tried a lot) I think you can get lucky here. The reason why I have not found any yet, is because my heart have to say yes too :) But I truly believe that most of them are trying to find love. If you can write minimum 5 letters with them or skype with them, without they talking about money or that the family are sick or have been in accident, then you are probably on the right way. Trust you instinct. If something sounds concerning, it is probably correct (but also remember culture differences)

“Fake Account City!”

This site has more FAKE accounts than any site I know. And believe me, I've been on more than a few. As soon as you log in, the profiles of women start popping up of sending you an interest, dubbing you as one of their favorites, or sending a pre-scripted message. I have contacted many women on this site ending in the same results. They all proved to be fake or phony. I wasted money on a 3 month membership and NOT ONE woman on there was real. Cupid Media owns Afrointroductions like they do many other sites. I think they have their hands in too many cookie jars, because they are not able to police their websites or refuse to do so. Which I strongly believe the latter. I could tell by the women (or men) behind the photos that they set themselves up to prove to me that are not who they say they are. This has been my experience 0n this site. One thing I noticed as well. No matter what time of day I'm on the site, they always have more than a 1,000 members currently on. At least that. Most of the time it's over 2 to 3,000. Scammers are working overtime.

This website released my personal information (name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, etc) to some of it's members. As a result there have been numerous attempts at identity theft and hackers trying to break into my computer.

I was on this site for a few months with not a single genuine person, I was inundated with profiles that all turned out to be fake, mainly from West Africa. From experience I'd say 80-90% of the profiles are not real. This site should be taken down. How to spot fakes, ask for video, they'll have a ready made excuse not to come on or ask money from you for data
